Appearance[]
Leona has pale or fair skin, teal blue green eyes. Her hair is white but fades into green halfway. Her clothing seems to be inspired by the Qing dynasty, mainly with the color green accented with gold, paw like gold boots and gauntlets, gold crown with green/teal gems, and hair accessory.
Lore[]
Since time immemorial, the gods have protected the lands below the skies from their abode; the Celestial Realm. For generations, have these spirits have watched from on high- above the mountain peaks that adorned the land as humanity thrived, struggled, and even fought amongst themselves. Some humans have even come to revere them. There were many kinds of folk that adorned the realm's lands.
But soon.... this land would go under sweeping change- one that would scar the world, in order to help it heal.
One such individual who inspired this change was named Leona Haruka. The realm's finest warrior, and Deity General.....who was originally born of nobility, but deemed herself a person who didn't fit in with the nobles. A stone lioness who sported a white tail that faded into a jade green- with this same color scheme throughout her outfit. Leona felt that she was unfit to be noble born- that she was not meant to benefit from the suffering and fighting of others- without witnessing it firsthand. So, she joined the Celestial Realm's army- aiming to prove herself. She became Deity General after winning many battles in the name of the Celestial Realm.... and she gained her army, her soldiers- loyal to her command, ever steadfast in their protection of the realm, and willing to break the blades....and spirits, of those who ever came into contact with their general. She fought for prosperity, unity...and the protection of all who dwelled within the realm. However, the more Leona fought; battle after battle, war after war.....the clangorous war cries of her soldiers ceased to give her strength. The very nature of her being.....no longer gave her solace. Victory was now nothing but a word. A condition. An inevitability.
She'd come to confront the very people who she'd shed golden ichor for; that she'd broken blades and spirits both for....that she'd snuffed out many lives for. The Celestial Realm lied to her. Their true, nefarious and selfish goals were nowhere close to the noble ideals she'd been uplifted by, and raised her weapon to. Leona had come to find what made the Celestial Realm's gods so different. In defiance of the realm she'd come to protect, her soldiers and many other like-minded souls banded together to form the Jade Cloud Dynasty Army, with the lioness general at its head. A force of good, meant to defy the very nature of the Celestial Realm. Gods, Yokai, Spirits....deific creatures with no true corporeal form. Some took human forms, others took the forms of animals. A hodge-podge of Asian and Greek cultures, the Jade Cloud Dynasty had no shortage of diversity within its lands, and this was all due to the efforts of one warrior.
The inevitability of war happened upon the world once more, with the Jade Cloud Dynasty and Celestial Realm's clash. The sonorous clang of gods and mortals slowly dulled and faded away. Her breathing was heavy. Her hands were covered in gold and her body screamed for her to move- yet move it would not. She prayed, clutching that jade butterfly from her youth against her breast- and hoped that a miracle would work its way onto this torn land of war.
Her ancestor; the Celestial Beast Lion, Suanni- finally managed to reach her descendant. using her powers to give Leona the strength to stand; Leona ascended to godhood as the next Celestial- a Celestial Lioness; taking her ancestor's place amongst the gods. Leona soon came to win this war, allowing those caught within the clash of these realms....to finally know some semblance of peace for the next one thousand years. Leona proceeded to retire her blade, vowing that she had no need for it now, with the realms in an era of peace. She decided on journeying across the realms to witness what their war had done to the world around them- changing her appearance to do so. Her beloved companion, Guang-Shi, continued to stay at her side as the pair now aimed to travel the world- doing whatever they could to ease the wounds of war.
