LilyPichu is a veteran YouTuber and gaming streamer whose journey in content creation has entered the VTuber space on various occasions. Her accolades include over 3 million YouTube subscribers and over 2 million Twitch followers.
From 2011 to 2012 she was part of the Shurelily media project with Shurelya, where the two were pioneers of what would later be called PNGTubing, using static avatars with hotkeys to manually switch between different expressions and poses. In 2020 she began she began commissioning Live2D models, which she uses on a part-time basis.

A cheerful, albeit quirky, girl who wants to get along with everyone. She has multiple hobbies and likes to immerse herself in her interests, so as long as she has fun. She tends to be a little naive and sensitive, relying on her Shurelya to relay the brunt of the harsher news. She has extremely poor stamina and constantly bruises herself walking around, and so stays away from any sports activity. She also tends to slack off a lot; had it not been for her friends, she would probably not pass anything.
Above all, Lily values her friends, and happiness for everyone.
She has a pet Eagle named Eagle.

LilyPichu's YouTube channel was created on 5 March 2006. Her early content featured voice acting, piano, and singing. An early success was I'll Quit LoL, a parody of the Vocaloid song "Yamete Yaru yo Utaite Nanka" ("I'll Quit Singing"), based on the popular game League of Legends, posted in September 2011. Lily's YouTube channel grew in popularity.
On 12 December 2011, the Shurelily YouTube channel was launched.[1] The project was a collaboration between LilyPichu and League of Legends streamer Shurelya (see background), in which the pair represented themselves on-screen with original anime characters whose expressions and poses could be changed manually using hotkeys. The pair were two of the earliest content creators who could be called "VTubers," although they were preceded by at least one other, Japanese vlogger Ami Yamato.
2011[]
On 30 December, Lily appeared in Shurelily Adventures episode 1, "Dream Romance."
2012[]
On 8 March she provided the voice for the the Shurelily Adventures PV.
On 6 June, Lily created her Twitch channel.
2013[]
On 10 February, it was announced that Lily had left the Shurelily project. After this, she would occasionally use the Shurelily character or similar designs in YouTube video thumbnails and the like.
2020[]
On 5 August, in OfflineTV Podcast #30, Lily suggested interest in having a VTuber model produced.[2] On 7 August she began sketching designs on-stream.[3]
On 11 October, she posted the first preview of her new VTuber model on Twitter, followed by a video preview on 15 October. It features blue eyes and long pink hair accessorized with a white lily, all design features which had appeared in her Shurelily model. She wears a white slip dress, previously depicted in the thumbnail art of lilies III, and a pink cardigan decorated with a golden treble clef.[4][5]
On 10 November, Lily appeared as a guest on episode #4 of The Leaflit Show. She used her Live2D model for the event.
2021[]
On 2 September, the Shurelily YouTube channel was shut down due to copyright strikes on a second channel on the same Google account. Shurelily Adventures was subsequently considered lost media until a copy was found thanks to a fan who had downloaded them.
On 7 September, Lily added a Sayu hoodie to her chibi VTuber model.[6]
2022[]
She reprised her Shurelily model for a panel at OffKai Expo, which was held from 29 April to 1 May. The panel was a collaboration with Shurelya, who came out of retirement to re-unite the duo for the event.[7][8]
In July she moved from Twitch to YouTube Gaming. She dyed her hair red to commemorate the event.[9] Her last Twitch stream was on 1 July.
On 20 November she debuted her new pomgirl model. The model features iridescent black hair, white dog ears, purple eyes and gold-rimmed round glasses. She also published an accompanying VTuber lore video.[10][11]

Shurelily Adventures[]
Shurelily Adventures was a short web animated series which starred Shurelya and LilyPichu. It was originally intended to air as a weekly series, first on Sundays, then on Thursdays. It received five episodes and three specials. A sixth episode was previewed but never produced.

- A LilyPichu dakimakura was designed, but never sold. It was based on the Shurelily model. Only one of it was ever made, and it was given to Lily as a gift.[7][12]
- When she began VTubing, Lily initially declined to declare herself a VTuber, as she only intended to use it whenever not using webcam.[13] Popular Twitch streamer Pokimane previously raised questions about the definition of "VTuber" when she began occasionally using a VTuber model in September 2020.
- Lily once drew and rigged a simple Live2D model herself.[14]
