Lily Hopkins, also known as lilyhops, is an independent English-language VTuber. She streams on Twitch.

"My name is Lily Hopkins, but everyone calls me limlon mushbrain. I'm obsessed with plants (like Arabidopsis thaliana) and animals (frogs most of all!!). I make silly sounds all the time and sometimes I whisper in your ear. Can you please be my new big brother already? Ribbit!!"

Lily is obsessed with plants and animals. When she plays games, Lily values having fun over everything else. When not streaming, she likes to learn or go outside and play.

She occasionally streams and collabs with goki_dev, who made her character design/model.

Appearance

Lily has a round face with freckles, short brown hair down to around her shoulders and bangs and an ahoge with thin eyebrows, blue-green eyes and two sets of hair clips (straight silver pins and green round beads, with one slightly bigger than the other, in her newer model the silver clips have been replaced with a frog themed one). She wears a hoodie with a green and blue color theme and cloudy pattern in the hood and has one green thick braelet.

Background

Lily's Twitch account was registered on 21 April 2016, although she did not use it for streaming on that year. The earliest known stream where Lily used the word "VTuber" in a Stream title was a Super Mario 3 stream dated 24 April 2020. Lily's Twitter account was registered on 3 September 2020.

Her YouTube account was registered on 11 September 2020, while the oldest surviving Twitch clip of a lilyhops Twitch stream is dated 12 September 2020. She did not hold a formal debut stream.

2020

On 9 April, Lily reached 1,000 Twitch followers.

On 28 December, Lily reached 5,000 Twitch followers.

Lily's top streamed games in 2020 were Noita, Dark Souls III, Celeste, and Phasmophobia.

2021

2024

On 22 January, Lily celebrated her birthday with the unveiling of a new Live2D model. Like her previous model, it is illustrated and rigged by goki_dev. The new outfit is designed by Girutea.

On 15 December, Lily announced a hiatus until 15 January 2025.

2025

In the month of June, Lily achieved her goal of streaming 300 hours in one month, setting a new personal best. She concluded the event on 30 June with a 24-hour stream. During the month she completed PEAK and Shiren the Wanderer 2, played nearly 100 hours of Mahjong Souls and Riichi City, competed in a mahjong tournament, and played a lot of Noita.
