Lua Asuka (飛鳥瑠藍) is an independent female English-speaking Virtual YouTuber and a former member of Kawaii's Gen 2 alongside Aruru Gray, Namiji Freesia, Neena Makurano and Shee Icho. She can speak English and Japanese.

One day, I fell asleep in a forest and woke up in a different world called Earth! Where I'm from, everyone is a human with bird characteristics- but when I arrived on Earth, I was shocked to find that people and birds are totally separate! Also, there is more than one species of bird?! Eventually I made my way to Japan, and now I'm streaming with Production Kawaii until I find a way home. But breaking the space time continuum is not that easy...!!

Her YouTube channel was created on 17 October 2021. Her Twitter account was created in October 2021 and her activities there started on 31 October 2021.[5] Lua debuted on 6 November 2021.
2021[]
On 23 November, Lua YouTube channel became a YouTube partner.[6]
On 5 December, Lua opened her YouTube channel's membership feature.[7]
On 11 December, Lua held her first collaboration stream with another VTuber outside Kawaii, Rinkou Ashelia of Phase-Connect in game Portal 2.[8]
On 19 December, Lua reached 10,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.[9]
On 24 December, Lua and her kawaii's members collaborated on a cover song Last Christmas by Wham! which was also her first official collaboration cover song.
2022[]
On 3 February, Lua released her first official solo cover song "Feel My Soul" by YUI.
On 1 April, Lua reached 20,000 subscribers during the "12 HOUR STREAM" stream.[10]
On 11 December, she reached 30,000 subscribers on YouTube channel.[11]
2023[]
On 21 January, Lua debuted her 3D idol model.[12]
On 26 February, she reached 40,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel during an unarchived karaoke stream.[13]
On 6 May, Lua reached 50,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel during an endurance stream.[14]
On 30 July, she reached 60,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.[15]
On 26 August, Lua announced that she would get a new outfit.[16]
On 3 September, Lua debuted her second 2D outfit.[17]
On 17 September, Lua debuted her 3D chibi model.[18]
On 19 November, Lua debuted a new action for her second outfit, where she can hold a glass of wine or a beer.[19]
On 2 December, Lua released her first original song "Safe by your side."
2024[]
On 24 March, Lua reached 80,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.[20]
On 25 August, she debuted her third 2D outfit, a sleepwear.[21]
On 28 September, Lua reached 90,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.
Disbanding[]
On 9 October, Production kawaii announced that it would be ceasing operations as of 30 November 2024. All 15 talents would be able to keep their channels and social media accounts starting 1 December.[22] Lua also made an announcement that she would continue her activities as an independent VTuber.[23]
