Mahiru (真绯瑠 Zhēnfēiliú) was a female Chinese Virtual UP (bilibili content creator) from VirtuaReal's fifth generation alongside Miki and Hoshimi.

(This is a pun because Mahiru's name sound similar to 蒸肥牛 steamed beef)
On a certain day, an accident awakened a powerful bloodline that had been deeply concealed for more than a decade, but so far the little demon who squats at home hasn't been accepted among the capable family members.
She likes playing pranks very much, frequently taking advantage of other people during the time when they are intoxicated by her singing voice to wilfully tease them. However, the majority of the time she still counts as a clever and naughty demon.
She hopes that she can capture more satisfactory relatives through livestreaming, so as to nourish her increasingly barren magic.[3]

As a streamer[]
Mahiru is in general shy and doesn't do a lot of collabs. She streams once or twice over weekends due to her main job as a tech worker.
She usually stream games (usually galgame or idol-related games), karaoke streams of various anime or idol songs. After the main content, there is a part where she reads and answers anonymous questions submitted to her marshmallow account. The questions usually talks about recent events, tech job life, and idol animes.
Appearance[]
Mahiru has long coral hair with goldenrod eyes and small black horns. She wears a small black and red bow on her bangs, along with a curly ahoge. She also has pointy ears, has a black and red collar with a bow on it, a white and red leotard with a blue heart-shaped gem, a bow similar to the one on her hair, and matching sleeves. On her back she wears a black and purple capelet with crosses hanging from the tips, and a devil tail with a red heart-shaped tip. Additionally, she wears red and black stockings with brown Mary Janes.

Debut[]
On 28 October 2019, VirtuaReal announced their fifth generation of Virtual Livers, including Mahiru, accompanied by their designs and profiles.[3]
On 9 November 2019, the fifth wave made their debuts in a stream relay on bilibili from 19:00 to 22:00 CST, Mahiru being the second.[4]
2021[]
On 23-25 August, Mahiru participated in VirtuaReal's 夏日合唱ProMax (Summer Chorus ProMax) 3D concert[5]
2022[]
On 30 April, Mahiru unveiled her 3.0 brushup.[6]
On 23-24 September, Mahiru participated in VirtuaReal's 夏日合唱Super (Summer Chorus Super) 3D concert.[7]
On 12 November, Mahiru celebrated her third anniversary and revealed a new new outfit.[8]
2023[]
Sometime around 13 May, Mahiru deleted many old stream archives.[9] The oldest archive left now is from 2021, June 7.
Graduation[]
On 24 May 2023, Mahiru announced her graduation date. She would graduate on 27 September with a 3D stream. She stated that she doesn't feel suited as a streamer and would like to escape the confinement. She quoted Mikoto Aketa from The Idolmaster Shiny Colors and asked viewers to wish her best luck as she soared and "lose her wings". The theme of her graduation live will be Lost My Wings -最後(最高)のパフォーマンスをしたい- (Lost My Wings - I wish to make it my Last/Best performance).[10]

- Mahiru and Nanami - Mahiru is often found fangirling over Nanami. She at some point all but admitted Nanami was some of the reason she joined VirtuaReal. They sang and danced Hanazakari Weekend✿ together on Summer Chorus ProMax in 2021.[13] Nanami admitted that she was afraid of appearing on a karaoke show but was the fact that Mahiru and Eine was there soothed her anxiety.[14]
- Mahiru and Koxia - they have a lot of shared interests and were very close for a while. They collabed on a song cover which was deleted afterwards,
- Mahiru and Eve - as one of the few red-headed girls in VirtuaReal, Mahiru participated in Eve's Red-Head Paradise collab.[15]

Fans[]
- Her fans were initially called 魔球 (lit. Magical balls or Wicked Pitch), again a Revue Starlight reference.
- Later they were renamed to 一等星 M-1 Star. This can also be seen as a Revue Starlight reference.
