Mako Sameshima (鮫島メイコ), Mako is pronounced may-ko) is an independent female Virtual YouTuber.
She joined PRISM Project's 7th generation "PRISMCerulea" alongside Nana Asteria and Oumiya Emma before its dissolution.

Born by the ocean but enchanted by life on land, Mako left her home of the sea to find her purpose. She now spends her days walking on the beach eating popsicles, going to university, and playing video games. She tries her best to fit in and to make friends, finding that friendship and community warm her heart like a sunny beach.[6]

She has long, bluish-grey hair with shark fins on the side and top with bright ruby-red eyes. She has a skull and bone hairpin.
History[]
2021[]
On 27 March, Mako debuted her second outfit.[7]
On 15 May, she celebrated her Twitch partner.[8]
On 25 September, she released her first original song "Guide You Home."
On 1 October, she released the full music video for her original song "Guide You Home"
2022[]
On 8 January, Mako debuted her third outfit.[9]
2023[]
On 22 June, during a stream, Mako announced that she would join PRISM Project as its 7th generation and that she would get new outfit.[10][11]
Joining PRISM Project[]
On 26 June, she held her final stream on Twitch and announced that she would begin streaming on YouTube as a part of PRISM Project.[12]
On 29 June, Mako redebuted as a member of PRISM Project, she also announced the game "Mako's Deep Dive Debut," featuring Mako as the main character and the player trying to help her get home to debut.[13]
On 5 August, PRISMCerulea released their first original song "Evermore Blue."
2024[]
On 23 February, Mako released her second original song "when i let go".
Dissolving[]
On 2 March 2024, PRISM Project announced they would cease their ativities at the end of the month, and let all remaining talents the chance to keep their character IPs.[14] Mako confirmed she will become independent.
On 28 March, she reached 10,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.[15]
On 25 September, she debuted her fifth outfit on both her YouTube and Twitch channels.[16][17]

- Her surname is written in kanji「鮫島」which means "shark island."
- Her father is a local fishmen and her morther is the queen of sharks.[18]
- She likes idols, the cold, all sorts of music, baking, comedy movies, arcade games, psychology, collecting perfume.
- She dislikes cotton balls, bugs, waking up early, romance movies, chocolate, uncarpeted stairs, math, the ocean.
