Mari (茉里/Mò lǐ) was a female Chinese Virtual UP (bilibili content creator) affiliated with VirtuaReal, under VirtuaReal Project, as part of its eleventh generation (aka 人外天国) alongside Tanoshiba, Imi, and Chiyuu.

At the mention of Mari, a rising star under his own hand, the senior opposite me grabbed another cup of boba tea and forcefully took a big gulp. As far as I know, he definitely doesn't drink this stuff? He also has never praised any newcomer before. After all as talent scouts, we must judge everything without being reserved or excessive.
But now everything has changed. Ever since he went near that red-eyed girl called Mari, he completely out of character began to consider which store's boba tea suits her tastes best and which cute young actor he should decide to be Mari’s partner today. The wisdom in his eyes has gone, turning instead into a powerful fanaticism. He definitely was always a level-headed person before.

On 5 December 2020, the upcoming Livers were teased on the VirtuaReal bilibili and Twitter accounts with an image of their silhouettes.
On 6 December 2020, VirtuaReal officially announced their eleventh generation of Virtual Livers, including Mari, in an article accompanied by their designs and profiles. Mari made her first dynamic and released her first video, a cover of KING by Kanaria, on the same day.
On 18 December 2020, the eleventh wave made their debuts in a stream relay on bilibili lasting from 19:00 to 23:00 CST, Mari being the third.[6]
2020[]
On 25 December, Mari reached 100 captains (i.e. members) on her bilibili channel and was entered into bilibili's hall of fame with the achievement "百人舰队" (Hundred-Man Fleet).[7]
2021[]
In March, Mari's Twitter account was created. On 24 March, Mari made her first tweet.
On 6 June, Mari's Sightseeing voice pack went up for sale, lasting until 19 June.[8]
On 2 July, Mari's "不思议校园异闻录" (Unimaginable Schoolyard Anecdotes) voice pack went up for sale, lasting until 23 July.[9]
On 14 August, Mari revealed her second costume, a goth lolita outfit.[10]
On 23 August, Mari debuted her 3D model during day 1 of VirtuaReal's Summer Chorus ProMax 3D Karaoke (夏日合唱ProMax 3DKTV Day1).[11]
On 24 December, Mari's 2021 X'mas voice pack went up for sale, lasting until 7 January 2022.[12]

On 4 February, Mari revealed her third costume, a winter outfit.[13]
On 14 February, Mari's 2022 Valentine's Day voice pack went up for sale, lasting until 28 February.[14]
On 31 May, Mari's Weibo account was created.
On 9 August, Mari made her first Weibo post.
2023[]
On 24 January, Mari revealed her fourth costume, a gyaru costume designed by Yukizawa.[15]
On 30 September, Mari announced that she would be graduating on 29 October. Gifts will be accepted until the month after her graduation.[16] The announcement comes a day after fellow genmate Imi announced her graduation. Most content will be preserved.
