Marpril (マープリル) is a VTuber duo made up of Touka Yata and Rin Tachibana, formerly known as Marple, until 20 June 2019 when they announced a name change due to overlapping names with a western drama with the same name causing trademark problems. They are talents working under Iwamotochou Geinousha. They are produced by Ehara Miori and their general activities consist of common VTuber activities like radio talk, gaming streams, skits, and singing.
On 06 November 2023, Marpril had announced they will continue as an independent group after the announcement of Iwamotochou Geinousha closure due to bankruptcy [1].
