Mayumi (勾檀, Gōután) is a Chinese Virtual UP (bilibili content creator) and a member of VirtuaReal's twelfth generation alongside Kendou, Tsukumo and Remi.
Regarding Mayumi, the conclusion is either “was originally a Gold Retriever puppy” or “she’s just been fitted with these kind of accessories, you lsp!”. While discussing which side is right, we’ve already been conducting an inside investigation for a very long time. We were very intrigued by her body but due to various reasons we ultimately abandoned the plan to dissect her. On one hand, nobody's desire to harm a girl who at first sight is covered in bruises is greater than the desire to protect her. On the other hand… after being in contact with us for a while, we discovered that she is already affiliated- she keeps mentioning someone called master. She is always fully convinced that to bring happiness to master and to help master solve problems and difficulties is precisely the meaning of her existence. In order to let her know that not just master exists in the world, we unanimously decided to let this young lady who is not very good at playing games or singing to undergo livestreaming activities. Only by facing more people can she gradually gain confidence, or perhaps go hopelessly astray. Although the reason she accepted it was to bring more happiness to master, in short, the outcome is fine like this.[4]
She has long light blonde hair with vibrant light green eyes and cat ears.

Mayumi is an avid Apex player, her recent ranking is Diamond IV at Season 15.[5]
Her singing used to be very off-pitch and her voice cracked easily at high notes, creating the legendary cover "勾手指月" (a cover of "左手指月"). Apparently it has improved recently.[citation needed]
She has dabbe in ASMR and has incorporated Apex Legend streams with ASMR which is an interesting experience.[6]

On 4 March 2021, the VirtuaReal bilibili and Twitter accounts teased the upcoming Livers with an image of their silhouettes.
On 5 March 2021, VirtuaReal officially announced their twelfth generation of Virtual Livers, including Mayumi, accompanied by their designs and profiles.[4] Mayumi made her first dynamic post and released her first video, a cover of Keitairenwa, on the same day.
On 13 March 2021, the twelfth wave made their debuts in a stream relay on bilibili from 19:00 to 23:00 CST, Mayumi being the third.[7]
Later on 26 March 2021, highlights of their debut streams were compiled into a video presented by 祁柒Nya on bilibili's official virtual streamer channel.[8]
2021[]
On 8 August 2021, participated in the VirtuaReal "APEX夏日娱乐赛" (APEX Summertime Casual) along with Kiti and Chiharu.[9]
On 8 December, participated in the VirtuaReal Music Mixup!! 2.0 3D concert[10]
2022[]
On 16 April, Mayumi unveiled their home 3D model.[11]
On 1 November, Mayumi unveiled her 3rd costume. It was designed by 天才美少女鱼油 and drawn by Yukizawa.[12]

On 13 March, the three members of the twelfth generation celebrated their 2nd anniversary together.[13]
On 17 March, Mayumi celebrated her 2nd anniversary and unveiled her 3D model.[14]
On 15 April 2023, participated in the VirtuaReal 3RD MUSIC MIX UP!! 3D live concert[15]
On 21-23 June, Mayumi participated in VirtuaReal's VR-Cup Calabiyau tournament with teammates Nanami, Aza, Susam, and Girimi.[16] They won the first place of the tournament.

The twelfth generation, aka 127 - Mayumi, Kendou, Tsukumo and Remi. These four debuted together.
JJC - Mayumi, Kiti and Chiharu. These three were a team in VirtuaReal's Apex Summertime Casural.[17]
NGXL - Hoshimi, Chiharu, Shaun, Mayumi, and recently, Girimi. The name is the consonant abbreviation of "年功序列" (rank by seniority). Their running gag is that they respect the seniority culture ironically. They also share the same staff, Okura Aoi.
Mayumi's nickname "勾勾" Gōugōu sounds similar to "狗狗" (doggy). Likewise, their "狗蛋马玉米" (Gǒudàn mǎyùmǐ) nickname sounds similar to their actual "勾檀Mayumi" name and literally Dog-egg Horse-corn.
Mayumi is an android with some dog characteristics.[2] Thus, their specified gender is ??? (i.e., no gender) even though their installed voice is female.[1]
