MeiMei, or simply just Mei is an independent Danish female English-language VTuber Streamer,[1] who has been streaming since May 2021.[2] She is best known for her dark humor, love for pastel (while talking about horror), and her love for rhythm games.
Personality[]
MeiMei is seen as very friendly, caring for her viewers and asking how they do. She enjoys talking about game characters, which some ends up being simping, but she jokes it off saying "oh boi my otome days are returning”. She is often heard cursing occasionally if something don't go her way, sometimes even adds German curses, all while talking about dark stuff as horror anime.
She is extremely open around her own struggles, with her deep depression, borderline PTSD, autism, and chronic illness, tho she says her character isn't built on these struggles, but rather a way to bring awareness and support to others.

She has medium-length brown hair that fades into pink highlights and streaks in her hair bun with light purple eyes.

MeiMei originally joined YouTube on August 8, 2011, doing MikuMikuDance videos, and Twitch on July 15, 2013.
2019[]
On 19 December, she became a Twitch Affiliate.
2020[]
On 17 November, she announced her full rebranding, becoming a VTuber and streamer after her Debut MMD video was uploaded on November 21.
2021[]
On 14 May, she began talking on streams, where she explained it was also to work on her anxiety.
Around June, she announced her laptop had encrypted itself, and had to build a pc. After returning she has stated she is missing stuff from her laptop, but nothing too big luckily.
In September, she began heavily stream Genshin Impact, which is currently her main streaming game.
In December, she announced her emote would be 💮, explaining the stamp would repressive that while she has had a lot of ups and downs, she's still made a lot of progress, and feels she has overcome many tests, which should be celebrated by a stamp, and wishes her viewers the same positive energy and progress.
On 17 December, she thanked her fans for reaching 2,500 subscribers on YouTube.
2022[]
From January 16, to January 22, She would stream every day. Around the same time, she's begun letting people join her world in Genshin, and has said the last few streams have been so much fun.
On 19 January, she celebrated reaching 150 followers.[3]
On 31 January, she reached 160 followers.
On 6 February, she went from 167 followers, to 234 followers from a WiLLiS raid of 476.[4]
On 27 February, she reached 250 followers.
On 17 March, she debuted a new Live2D, made by 0x4682B4, with small tweaks by Mei. She wrote that she had always wanted to replace the former, as it was just an Live2D asset from the Project Sekai game, which wasn't okay to use. She hopes to get her own custom Live2D soon, but may take time due to her low income from benefits due to her chronic illness.[5]
On June 19. she reached 300 followers.[6]

- She got her IQ tested as well, and received an IQ of 122.
- She began studying for Graphic Design in 2017 to 2020.
- In October 2020, she announced she had to drop out, as her chronic illness (one which first appeared in 2017) made it hard to stay.
- She owns a personal autograph from the Japanese Singer Sayuri, idol and odorite Aikawa Kozue, and both members of MM.
- She watched Higurashi when she was 10.
- Owns many consoles from growing up, and her favorite game series is Dance Dance Revolution.
