I'm @Alimbaguy on Twitter and I am currently doing research to compile a list of every English Speaking VTubers, I will probably be Spaming the Wiki with articles at an unspecified dat in the future with Entries of VTubers with 200+ TTV Follows or YT subs, the number of articles is likely to be at least 200+, with at least 50+ having more than 2,000+ TTV follows.
The entries will be INCREDIBLY bare bones, and will likely be copypastes of their TTV or Twitter bios.
I'll try my best to scour their twitch and perhaps add info and edit the pages to format acceptable pages. Understandably though that is a lot of Vtubers and will take a while to implement fully.
Some of these people in this list don't seem to really be vtubers though. Some don't use any sort of model in their streams or show their real selves most of the time. (Pixelvalkyrie and J4KEYVR to name a couple.) The Twitter list seems to be the most accurate for this problem.
I think I may talk with the admin about raising the follower limit of Overseas vtubers since 700+ is a large number to just dump into the wikia.
Hello, I saw your edit to Comdost's page. I believe Comdost said he is a man, but I can't find it right now so I'm not going to argue with you there at this moment. I do however want to know why you removed the link to his / her Steam profile. Did Comdost himself or herself tell you to remove the Steam link? Can you prove it? Unless you can prove it, I'd say if he/she did not want it to be public, he/she would not put a link to it, and I will put it back where it was.
I asked Comdost directly about the pronouns and private information on the page myself. I have gotten their permission. Steam wouldn't even count as their official website anyways as it is a private profile and not something Comdost shares everywhere for their information.
I put it as their official website because it wouldn't let me add a Steam link category and someone did the same for Natsumi Moe. If the site allowed me to add it, I would.
As for why "someone" added the browser information; I did it because I find it VERY interesting. 95% of people I know only use one browser, and the rest 5% use two with one of the two browsers being Internet Explorer(IE) as it can be very useful for finding bad HTML code. I have never heard of anyone using three browsers, much less none of them being IE. Maybe I'm just a bit of a nerd and the only one who cares about something like that lol.
I did not add the Venezuela part, but what point is there in removing it when it is a meme like "Tina" is for the youtuber "Dashiegames"? If your source is not a fake, why did you bring it up?
Where did you talk to Comdost? Also, could you post the Steam part of the conversation too? You didn't put it in the picture, so you haven't actually proven that Comdost doesn't want that information on fandom.
I have no idea who Dashiegames the youtuber is. I did talk to Comdost again though, and she did say it is a meme so I will put that back, that's my bad. I thought it was personal information. They are also okay with the browser trivia being there. My apologies.
I suppose you could put the steam URL in external links, but considering it is private in the first place it probably isn't even useful to put it as an external link. Comdost did say however it would be nice if I would remove it. Here: https://i.imgur.com/aWyDz6o.png
I talk to Comdost through Discord. I do apologize for my impulsiveness. I don't want any virtual youtuber to have personal information out here. I will rollback the page or edit back in the information.
@DerPresenz You either have no idea how bothersome it is to write something like that again from zero or you are a masochist :O
@Skiyoshi You don't need to know him, my point was merely that it is a meme and I gave an example so you could do some minor research into how widespread the Venezuela meme is, as it's not that dissimilar to the Tina meme. Every Dashie fan knows about Tina, and every Comdost fan knows about Venezuela.
Are you not familiar with Steam? Steam is only as private as you make it. Steam is a digital distribution platform, not a place like Facebook where you store your private information. People play games together there, not share family photos. It was built for gamers, not families. If you play games, I suggest you create an account. Natsumi Moe has an account, and people gift her games every now and then.
I see. I didn't know you could chat with Comdost anywhere outside Twitter and, to some extent, curiouscat. Another reason why I should start using Discord... But I (probably) never will LOL
Could you ask Comdost if she really is a female in real life? I have seen a lot of people refer to Comdost as being male, so I want to make it a proven fact that Comdost is a female. Comdost could of course lie, but most people would probably assume it to be the truth and so this would make it seem more likely that Comdost is a female.
Thanks for undoing at least some of your changes. I hope this doesn't come off as being mean or anything, but you really should look into things before acting on assumptions. It's easy to make wrong assumptions not just online, but in real life as well, and acting purely on assumptions can have very severe consequences in real life.
