MetanoiaLIVE was a virtual YouTuber/Streamer agency operating in Indonesia and globally[1], which worked to produce and develop varieties of Virtual Youtuber (VTuber) with the vision to create the next stage of virtual entertainment and expand its reach to a wider audience worldwide, by producing or creating unique, engaging and creative virtual experiences.[2]
History[]
The first audition for its first generation was conducted by MetanoiaLIVE on January 1-31, 2021.[3] In this audition, participants will be provided with all facilities that can help their activities as a virtual youtuber from the agency. Starting from Live 2D models, rigging, overlays, logos, and BGM which will be prepared by Metanoia itself, to equipment and assets that can help participants to live stream. The audition is open to Indonesian citizens or those who can speak Indonesian fluently and at least 18 years of age and over.[4]
During the MetanoiaID 1st generation reveal, Indonesian musician Ahmad Dhani gave greetings and encouragement to virtual YouTubers from circle/the MetanoiaLIVE agency and Indonesian VTubers.[5][6][7]
2023[]
On 21 August 2023, MetanoiaLIVE announced that they stopped their operation from 28 August. All remaining talents were given the intellectual property of the characters, tools, and their channel for continuing their careers independently.[8]
