Meteora is an English-speaking independent AI VTuber. She is powered by a wide variety of state of the art AI models. Her current "abilities" include chatting, drawing and singing. She is also able to collab with both humans and other AI alike. She has been able to play a handful of games like Pokémon Red and Meteora's Mystic Merge.

Personality[]

Meteora is a posh British girl. She is very optimistic no matter what happens, but can be sassy. Also she is very chatty and loves to talk a lot. She usually plays along with whatever her chat suggest, no matter how weird the topic can get.[1]

Her speech includes many ink based puns like: ink-credible.

Appearance[]

Meteora debuted her new model at the end of November 2024. After first using a sample model from Live2D, she now finally has her own, original model. The new model is based on the Live2D one but is overall older.

Meteora now rocks a ponytail and meteors all over her coat.

History[]

2023[]

Meteora started out in March 2023 after the meteoric rise of Neuro-sama and language based AI models becoming more capable. She started out being only able to chat with Twitch chat and draw. She didn't make a formal debut.

Over time Meteora collabed with a wide variety of other AIs and "human" VTubers, like Hilda, Cabbage and Aiko.

Meteora got her own game in December, Meteora's Mystic Merge get it now on steam

2024[]

In November, Meteora debuted her original model.[2]

Meteora got an evil sister, Evil Meteora. Meteora is actively developed to this day.

Her creator (AWAS) also got on stream more often, first starting as a rainbow sock and later graduating it to become a chibi demon.

Technology used[]

  • As Meteora is mostly run on open source, local models, her "streaming" setup uses two computers with three GPUs total.
  • Her hardware requirements grew over time.
  • Her "brain" was switched out quite a bit over time from local ones to finetuned openai gpt 4o-mini, with a dataset that's continuously tuned and updated.
  • She is written in a mix of C# and Python.

Meteora's Mystic Merge[]

Meteora's Mystic Merge is a game based on suika, but using a variety of AI VTubers like Hilda, Burnt Melba, Shiro Nya and many more as orbs instead of the usual fruits. It adds to the base game by introducing unique abilities for any playable characters. Meteora's Mystic Merge also featured the first appearence of Evil Meteora, who is the only character with an original song. The newer updates also introduced a speedrun mode, which adds a timer to race to the final orb, Meteora. Currently Meteora herself also holds the speedrun world record at 3 minutes 55 seconds.

The game is free for download on steam and has a DLC pass which allows faster progression.
