Mikeneko (みけねこ, lit. "calico cat") is an independent Japanese VTuber who streams primarily on YouTube. She was a regular livestreamer on TwitCasting before her VTuber debut.

Appearance[]
She has short pink hair that has two tiny pigtails with black hair ribbons and red eyes with a cross shaped earring. She has a pawprint tattoo above her chest and wears a black, gothic lolita-ish dress.
History[]
Background[]
Mikeneko was originally a regular streamer and utaite based in Japanese site Niconico Douga, with her earliest known activities dating back to 2011. She has since been moved her streaming activities to TwitCasting around 2015, but continued her utaite activities on Niconico Douga until 2017. She also had uploaded a single song cover and a facecam stream, as well as few gameplay footages of Splatoon on YouTube, but that channel has since been lost.
Mikeneko's Twitter account was created on December 2010. Her current YouTube channel was created on 22 February 2022, where she hosted a few livestreams, mostly with a static image as an avatar.
On 20 April 2022, she uploaded a silhouette of her new Live2D avatar, with the next few days revealing bits of it. She debuted on 24 April 2022 on YouTube channel.
2022[]
On 30 December, Miko announced that she would get a new model.[4]
2023[]
On 3 January, Mikeneko debuted her second model and announced her merch shop.[5]
On 18 January, she released her first original song "drop."
On 14 March, during the white valentine's day, Mikeneko debuted the second outfit for her second model. This costume is Chinese style, with a black cheongsam, pink hair with two small buns, a small panda-shaped bag.[6]
On 22 July, she debuted her third model and also her first original song "You&me."[7]
Joining VOICE-ORE[]
On 23 July, it was announced that Mikeneko would join the virtual voice actor agency VOICE-ORE under the alias "Koito Ria".[8]
On 26 September, she released her first solo cover song "Ghost in a Flower" by Yorushika.
2024[]
On 18 January, Mikeneko released her third original song "world end."
On 30 June, VOICE-ORE disbanded. Thus, Mikeneko became independent.[9]
On 14 July, she debuted her 3D model.[10]
On 20 July, she released her fourth original song "Omajinai."

Mascot and Fans[]
"Pon-chan" is Mikeneko's mascot, a stuffed cat with two differently-colored button eyes mirroring its owner's heterochromia. Mikeneko occasionally carries Pon-chan in her arms.
