Miyoshino Shiki (美吉野しき) is an independent female English Virtual YouTuber.

She mostly speaks English on her streams, but she also knows some Japanese.

She debuted as member of the English Virtual YouTuber agency PRISM Project's 3rd Generation, along with Suzune Nia, Pengin Pina, and Rikudou Yura.

Personality

Shiki has a tomboyish personality. She is a big fan of anything related to the occult and the unknown. She is also a masochist and likes to grieve. Her catchphrase is OWA OWA!.

Appearance

Shiki is an inugami, and as such, she has dog ears on the top of her head. Her left ear has a small blue gem hanging from it, and her right ear has an orange and black cover over it, with a power symbol on the outside.

She has blue eyes with interior golden paw prints - though her right eye is covered by her bangs, which feature a red knot ribbon.

Her hair is orange with turquoise ends that match her inner ear color. She has several red and black diagonally-crossing hair ties in the shape of bones. Her hair comes into a small ponytail in the front, connected with a paw-shaped scrunchie.

Her top exposes her midriff slightly but is otherwise traditional inugami clothing, which is orange and black and adorned with white and red flowers and orange paw prints. Her lower arms have long, partially transparent sleeves with long turquoise ribbons.

She is wearing a black and orange skirt that matches her upper right sleeve. She has a band over her right thigh and knee-high black socks marked by paw prints. She wears black sneakers with red laces and turquoise side emblems.

Just like the rest of the PRISM Project members, Miyoshino Shiki is a special agent from the year 2120, which has been sent back to the past to prevent the threat of humans losing interest and passion for others. She is also one of the two representatives of the "East" half of PRISM Project 3rd Generation, the other being Suzune Nia.

History

Background

On 2 June 2021, the PRISM Project Twitter account sent out a tweet advertising their new feature, PRISM Gacha. Hours later, PRISM Project tweeted an emergency announcement saying they had received reports of a mysterious error message. On 6 June, Miyoshino Shiki sent out her first tweet. PRISM Project then tweeted an alert noting that the culprits of the data breach had been identified by name. Shiki and the other 3rd Generation members were the culprits in question. At the time, Shiki and the other members appeared as silhouettes. She posted her first video on YouTube, a song cover of "One Last Kiss" on 11 June. On 14 June, Shiki along with the other 3rd Generation members, was given a full reveal of her model on the PRISM Project YouTube channel.

Shiki debuted on 26 June on YouTube.

2021

On 29 June, Shiki reached 10,000 subscribers on YouTube and her channel was eligible to monetize.

On 13 September, Shiki celebrated her 80,0000 subscribers on YouTube.

On 12 November, Shiki reached 100,000 subscribers first among her colleague.

2022

On 26 June, Shiki along with her fellow 3rd generation members celebrated their one year annivesary, and also released their first original song "Prismatic Dream."

On 6 October, Shiki featured a new original song "Seasons" by Lone Alpha.

2024

Dissolving

On 2 March 2024, PRISM Project announced they would cease their ativities at the end of the month, and let all remaining talents the chance to keep their character IPs. Shiki confirmed she will become independent.

On 10 April, Shiki announced that she was the alternate persona of singer/songwriter Posy.

Fans

Shiki calls her fans Occultreats. This term originated from a combination of the words occult and treat.

Trivia

• Shiki shares the same character designer, Maki Hitsuji, with Debidebi Debiru, Kataribe Tsumugu and Suzukaze Suzuka of ANYCOLOR Inc., Hizuki Yui of Neo-Porte, Rin Penrose of Idol Corp and Saya Sairroxs of Phase-Connect.
• She has three puppies, but her dream is to have an entire puppy farm.
  • The puppies she has were adopted, and Shiki is not their biological mother.
  • Her dog breeds and the dog names she has are: a male pug named Bepper, a male hound named Bepis, and a female chihuahua named Chuck.
• She is very fond of bathing.
• She only has dog ears and no human ears.
• She is allergic to chocolate, but she still loves it a bunch, so she sometimes takes some benadryl before/after she eats it. One time she was knocked out by it, which caused her sleep schedule to go awry.
• Her right ear is artificial/cybernetic because in one of her previous lives, she lost an ear during the process of becoming an inugami.
• In one of her previous lives, she was a pomeranian.
• She is a connoisseur of odd food combinations, which includes such combinations as: cornbread dipped in ketchup, baked chicken dipped in ice cream, fruit gummies on spicy chicken sandwitches, carrots dipped in ketchup, broccoli dipped in BBQ sauce, strawberry yogurt on popcorn, chocolate on pizza and sugar in spaghetti.
