MochiPro (もちぷろ Mochipuro) was an agency of Virtual YouTubers created by VTuber Mochi Hiyoko.
History[]
Background[]
From 25 January 2019 to 15 February 2019, Hiyoko held VTuber "soul auditions" for an upcoming VTuber project.
2019[]
On 26 July, Hiyoko announced the establishment of her own independent VTuber agency, MochiPro.[1] The next day on 27 July, the founding members Kamino Tane and Ouma Yuu, then uploaded their first videos.
2020[]
On 21 February, Amemachi Watage made her debut.
On 22 February, Coconoe Conono made her debut.[2]
On 10 June, Ouma Yuu announced that she was graduating from MochiPro on 23 June,[3] after which she will continue her activities as an independent VTuber.
2021[]
On 1 February, Hiyoko uploaded a video announcing that Kamino Tane, Coconoe Conono, and Amemachi Watage would become independent from MochiPro effective on 28 February. Hiyoko also mentioned in the video that she herself would also become independent in March.[4]
On 28 February, Kamine Tane, Coconoe Conono, and Amemachi Watage departed from MochiPro and continued as independent VTubers.[5]
Disbanding[]
On 1 March, Hiyoko became independent as she announced before on 1 February, disbanding the agency.[4]
