Nachoneko (なちょ猫); also known by her real name Amashiro Natsuki (甘城なつき) is a female independent Japanese Virtual YouTuber and illustrator. She debuted on YouTube in 2021, but in 2022 she moved to streaming on Twitch only, uploading her gameplay clips and cover songs to YouTube.

She is perhaps best known as the illustrator of hololive member Gawr Gura and other VTubers, including herself.

She is a cat girl with long, silvery grey hair and her cat ears and tail is of the same color. Her eyes have blue irises.

On her original design, she wears a hairclip of her mascot Hennyano (a floating black cat with three blue eyes) on the left side of her hair. On her body, she wears a white dress with paw print patterns and detached sleeves by the elbows. On her legs are a pair of white and light grey striped socks, with Hennyano-themed slippers on her feet.

She joined Twitter in November 2013 and her YouTube channel was created on 19 July 2014. Prior to becoming a VTuber, Nacho did occasional streams on her Twitch channel.

2021[]

On 15 June, Nacho officially confirmed her plans to debut as a VTuber in a tweet, in which she showed off her full VTuber model.[1]

On 17 June, Nacho first used her VTuber model, albeit as a static image, where she played Mario Kart 8 Deluxe with one of her "daughters" Gawr Gura.[2]

On 5 September, she held her debut on YouTube.[3]

On 25 October, her duet with Gokigen Naname, a cover of S'il Vous President (シル・ヴ・プレジデント) by Pmaru-sama, premiered on Naname's channel.

2022[]

On 29 December, she premiered her cover of Cat Loving (キャットラビング) by Kashii Moimi feat. KAFU.

2023[]

On 5 July, her duet with Yoru Yoichi, a cover of Identity (アイデンティティ) by Kanaria feat. GUMI & Hatsune Miku, premiered on Yoichi's channel.

On 11 October, she premiered her cover of Tenetene (てねてね) by uutubo.

2024[]

On 22 March, Nachoneko premiered her duet with Akami Karubi, a cover of Koigokoro (K's Remix) (恋ゴコロ (K's Remix)) by Prima Stella from the game Lucent Heart.

On 11 May, she premiered her cover of nekomeshi by Yakushimaru Etsuko.

On 11 October, she premiered her cover of Kanojo wa Tabi ni Deru (彼女は旅に出る) by sana.

  • On 15 January 2022, Nachoneko participated in the Anatomy Cup - Apex 2022 Duo Monster tournament as part of the duo "Yoru Nachoneko Cafe" (よるなちょ猫カフェ) along with Yoru Yoichi. The duo got 12th place.[4]
  • From 12 - 13 February 2022, she participated in the Crazy Raccoon (CR) Cup 2 VALORANT tournament as part of the team Shikou Rock (思考Rock) along with Kurumi Noah, Francisco, BobSappAim and SHAKA. The team got 5th place.[5]
  • From 30 - 31 July 2022, she participated in the CR Cup 3 VALORANT tournament as part of the team Nekoland (ねこらんど) along with Amatsuki, Cpt, Kinako, and YufuNa. The team got 1st place, winning the tournament.[6]
  • From 12 - 13 November 2022, she participated in the CR Cup 4 VALORANT tournament as part of the team Fuyu wa Yappari Nabengers (冬はやっぱりナベンジャーズ) along with Naraka, Arisaka, yy, and Jasper7se. The team got 8th place.[7]
  • From 10 - 11, 13 - 18 and 20 - 22 December 2023, Nachoneko participated in the Vaultroom x Crazy Raccoon (VCR) GTA Season 2 event server, joining the paramedic team.[8] She added pineapple pizza to a coffee shop's original menu, which led to a commotion. Later, she became known for her "Yandere Nacho" episode where she downed BobSappAim in an overkill manner, while shouting "What are you doing to Ema-chan?!" after he attacked Aizawa Ema. On the last day of the event, she suddenly went crazy attacking her fellow paramedics in-game.
  • In April 2024, Nachoneko participated in the VCR Rust event server.[9]
  • In September 2024, she participated in the VCR MINECRAFT β event server.[10]
  • From 2 December - 12 December 2024, she participated in the VCR GTA 3 event server. She joined the supermarket staff, a new occupation group.[11] In one incident where she tried asking the gang member nqrse for advice because she wanted to try doing small-time crimes, she received a full escort involving the entire Bloody Bad Bunny gang. Furthermore, the police couldn't respond to them as they were all busy at the time.
