Nenemaru (寧々丸) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber. She debuted on 1 May 2020 as a member of Busokanojo, but on 21 September the group was dissolved and all former talent became independent VTubers. She was also formerly a member of Sinsogumi from 2022 to 2024.
She mostly does gaming, particularly FPS games (e.g. R6 Siege, Apex, VALORANT) and chatting streams with some occasional ASMR. She streams on both YouTube and Twitch.

Nenemaru has long light blue hair with straight cut bangs and eyes with red irises. As an oni girl, she has one white horn on the right side of her head and a single fang visible when her mouth is closed.
On her original Busokanojo design, her long blue hair was tied off to the left side of her head, connecting with a braid on the left side of her bangs and fastened by a yellow flower hair ornament with black ribbons. On her neck is a black choker. On her body, she wore a skimpy kimono-collared indigo top that exposed the cleavage and sides of her large bosom. She had a purple-blue gradient, detached kimono-style sleeves on her arms. The lower half of her outfit has a skimpy black bottom piece that exposes her thighs but has black metal plates covering the sides. On her legs are asymmetrical black socks, a thigh-high kneesock on the right leg and a calf-length sock on left, plus a black band on the left thigh. On her feet are a pair of black elevated geta sandals with red straps. She has a red sheathed katana by her left hip as her armament: all Busokanojo (lit. "Armed Girlfriend") girls wield a weapon of some type.
For her indie redesign, most of her long blue hair was let down except for a pair of hair buns on either side of her head. Her single white horn is now shorter. On the left side of her head, she now wears a purple-blue gradient flower-shaped hair ornament. On her body, she wears a sleeveless sky blue kimono-dress with a purple collar, purple flower-shaped ornaments on the chest and a large purple obi sash and ribbon at the midsection that holds it together. Her chest is also smaller compared to before. She has sky blue detached flowing sleeves on her arms, fastened by indigo tassels on the upper arms. On her right thigh is a thin purple band with a flower-shaped ornament, and a pair of dark blue platform shoes with blue ankle adornments.

Nenemaru's Twitter account was created on April 2020. Her YouTube channel was created on 11 April 2020.
2020[]
On 1 May, Nenemaru held her debut stream on YouTube.[2]
On 21 September, Busokanojo was dissolved. Nenemaru bought her IP and became an independent VTuber.
2021[]
On 20 January, Nenemaru premiered her duet with Tsugumi Suzuma, a cover of Hibana (ヒバナ) by DECO*27 feat. Hatsune Miku.
On 29 August, she debuted her first new look after becoming independent, a redesigned 2D model that became her new base model.[3] She did a follow-up stream on 31 August, discussing this new design that better matched her own preferences.[4]
On 21 October, she received sponsorship support from the Japanese PC maker "LEVEL∞" as part of the unit "IRIS Vunit" which she formed together with her former Busokanojo colleague Hisui Tora and the independent VTuber Kamiya Neco.[5]
On 8 December, she unveiled a new outfit, her third costume.[6] The theme is modern tactical combat, and the outfit is an official collaboration with Rainbow Six Siege based on the Dokkaebi Elite operator skin. Notably, she has a submachine gun hanging by her right hip. UBISOFT contacted her illustrator Mucha to draw the outfit.
2022[]
On 29 January, Nenemaru joined the VTuber group & agency "Sinsogumi" (深層組, lit. Deep Level Group), founded by DeepWebUnderground, as its ninth member and its first "adopted daughter".[7]
From 30 April to 1 May, she celebrated her 2nd anniversary,[8] which included rewatching and commentating on her debut stream, starting the stream near midnight on 30 April.
On 22 October, she debuted her 3D model.[9] Her 3D model's outfit was neither based on her old design, nor on any of the existing costumes of her redesign, but it does incorporate the younger figure of her redesign.
2023[]
On 20 February, Nenemaru premiered her duet with Ogiya Milk, a cover of Daishikyuu Daishuki (だいしきゅーだいしゅき) by femme fatale.
On 1 May, she celebrated her 3rd anniversary with a 3D concert and a segment featuring various guests from Sinsogumi in the form of callers and 3D participants.[10]
On 1 October, she unveiled her fourth costume.[11] The theme is modern streetwear.
On 1 November, she premiered her collaboration with Namahoshichan, Ogiya Milk and Shitagai Nora, a cover of THE VILLAIN'S NIGHT by Caper Parade.
2024[]
On 30 November, after 3 years of membership Nenemaru announced her graduation from Sinsogumi, effective 31 December, after which she returns to being an independent VTuber.[12][13]
2025[]
On 19 February, Nenemaru premiered her cover of Niramekko (睨めっ娘) by Tomonari Sora.
Events[]
- On 3 December 2020, Nenemaru participated in the Rainbow Six Friendly Match Nijisanji Team vs Siege Vtuber Allied Forces as a member of a team consisting of Nenemaru, Kaga Nazuna, Kisaragi Ren, Tsugumi Suzuma, Kikyou Chiharu and Kenki. This match was hosted by Okayama who served as the R6 esports JP commentator & tournament director.
- On 26 March 2021, Nenemaru participated in the R6 Streamer Cup 2 as a member of "Pretty Girls" with Asumi Sena, Kaga Nazuna, Nonomiya Mika and Hazuki Miyu. Her team placed 1st.
- On 16 May 2021, she participated in the Apex Legends SAVAGE CLUB Cup as team "I see Gib, I kill." along with Qualia Qu and Tempplex. The team took 13th place in the overall ranking.
- From 2 December to 14 December 2024, Nenemaru participated in the Vaultroom x Crazy Raccoon (VCR) GTA Season 3 event server.[14] She joined the paramedics and was promoted from vice director to one of the 3 hospital directors halfway through the event, along with Yukoku Roberu and Peinto, after Peinto who was initially the sole hospital director, changed the leadership structure to a 3-person team.
