Nyantasia! (にゃんたじあ!) is a Japanese Virtual YouTuber cat girl agency that started as a joint VTuber project in 2023 between Sanrio and Nippon TV's ClaN Entertainment, a subsidiary which also operates other VTuber projects such as Parallel Artist Project and FouRTe Project.
Nyantasia! is set in a certain world, where a magician girl turned her pet cats into cat girls through magic. As of 2025, they have 8 members who mainly do game streams, and occasionally talk, karaoke, and ASMR streams.

Background[]
On 31 July 2023, ClaN Entertainment and Sanrio announces the Nyantasia! VTuber project.[1] Auditions for its first lineup of VTubers also start from that date until 10 September.[2]
On 26 November 2023, the debut schedule for the first three members was announced.[3]
2023[]
On 1 December, Nyamafuji Anzu,[4] Nyamashiro Soda,[5] and Nyamamugi Tart[6] made their debuts on YouTube.
2024[]
On 3 May, ClaN Entertainment announces three new upcoming Nyantasia! members: Nyamakage Neon, Nyamakumo Fuwari, and Nyamaharu Eru.[7]
On 24 May, Nyamakage Neon,[8] Nyamakumo Fuwari,[9] and Nyamaharu Eru[10] debuted on YouTube.
2025[]
On 16 September, ClaN Entertainment announces two new upcoming Nyantasia! members: Nyamashuva Lutz and Nyamalbelle Perle.[11]
On 27 September, Nyamashuva Lutz[12] and Nyamalbelle Perle[13] debuted on YouTube.

Names[]
- All members of Nyantasia! are cat girls who have family names that start with "Nya" derived from the Japanese onomatopoeia for "meow" (にゃー, nyaa?), but written with the kanji for "youth" (若, waka?) + the kanji for "magic" (魔, ma?), alluding to their magical origins.
Lore[]
In a mansion located in a certain world, lived a young magician girl and her pet cats, spending their days happily. The mage girl who was also the lady of the house, usually only thought about her cats and playing video games, but apparently she can use powerful magic when she gets serious.
"Now, if only I can play games together with my dear cats... then it would be lots of fun!"
Seeking friends to play games with, she cast a legendary magic spell on her cats.
Voilà, they turned into... VTubers?![1]

- Nyamada Haruka (ニャマダハルカ), who is the magician and cat owner described in the lore, runs the Nyantasia! official Twitter account, where she also posts her pick of "Best Scene of the Week" from the girls' streams.
- Nyantasia! is not Sanrio's first venture into the VTuber world, as they also have their own corporate brand VTuber, Natsume Renge, who announces Sanrio-related updates and promotes their new merchandise and events.
