Opal (欧珀/Ōupò) is a Chinese Virtual UP (bilibili content creator) affiliated with VirtuaReal, under VirtuaReal Project, as part of its eighteenth generation (aka 187) alongside Eve and Shiori.

Profile[]
Opal, who works in a coffee shop, is a geo-archaeology enthusiast obsessed with collecting fossils and rocks. In her carry-on bag is a complete set of fossil-gathering tools. This hobby may not seem to match her, but if you know Opal's back story, it’d be easy to understand. If the age is calculated from the time of birth, Opal is a Triceratops over 66 million years old. When the mass extinction event happened, she was still young and protected by her parents, but was still buried in the dust of ages, until a miraculous night when lightning struck the Dinosaur Fossil Museum and brought Opal’s family back to life and transformed them into human bodies. The family escaped the burning museum and started new lives in modern society. Opal now collects fossils in order to one day reproduce the miracle and bring her kind back to this world as human beings.[1]

She has short golden yellow hair with white in the middle bangs, and golden brown eyes. She wears a loose white lab coat style jacket with a sleeveless green tank shirt and brown shorts with brown lace up shoes and a green and yellow sock.

On 25 January 2023, the upcoming Livers were teased with an image of their silhouettes on VirtuaReal's bilibili and Twitter accounts.
On 26 January 2023, VirtuaReal officially announced their eighteenth generation of Virtual Livers, including Opal, in an article accompanied by their designs and profiles. Opal made her first dynamic and released her first video, a cover of Strange by ¿?shimon.
On 31 January 2023, Opal made her first tweet.
On 3 February 2023, Opal debut as part of a debut relay of the eighteenth generation.

On 23 June, Opal participated in a Nijisanji international Valorant collab with Nox, Imi from VirtuaReal. Selen Tatsuki, Shu Yamino, Maria Marionette, Fulgur Ovid from Nijisanji EN, and Derem Kado, Min Suha, Bonnivier Pranaja from Nijisanji. This is her first international collab.[2]
