Ophelia Midnight was an English female Virtual YouTuber affiliated with VReverie's first generation "Catalyst", alongside Lilrya Prisvielle and Nova Aokami. She is a phantom and connoisseur of tea, and if you see her during your life, when you pass away you'll be brought to her instead of any afterlife you were destined for. Upon being brought to her, she will offer you a selection of different teas, each sending you to either heaven, hell, or limbo by random determination that she has no control over and does not know the outcome of. Her fans are called "Ghosteas".

Ophelia maintains a rather calm, relaxed attitude and tone during her streams. Befitting of her title as onee-san, she has a caring and talkative demeanor, always making the effort to greet what members of chat she can at the start of a stream by name, checking up on how everyone's day has been, and chatting before moving onto the content of the stream; often even getting caught up in conversing about various random topics with chat during the stream as well, almost like impromptu mid-stream zatsudans.
She very frequently interacts with her community even outside of her streams; often responding to tweets and comments on stream archives, as well as chatting in her section of the VReverie official Discord server, even sometimes joining into active voice channels. Once, she even convinced a sizeable amount of community members to partake in some spontaneous karaoke.
She's also something of a self-aware narcissist, sometimes jokingly commenting about loving herself, being perfect, and having 'being complimented' as one of her main listed likes in her debut stream. While collaborating with her friends, she often acts as an enabler of chaos during the stream, typically not aiming to win or complete the game, but instead cause as much amusing mayhem as possible.
When it comes to gaming, some of her favorite games fall into the genre of deckbuilders, roguelikes & roguelites, and story-based games. She amusingly has an almost inverse reaction to games reputed for causing anger such as Elden Ring, instead finding what would usually cause rage to be funny or silly. Conversely, she instead gets more vocally frustrated (though seemingly never seriously angry) during other games that might be considered very casual, such as Super Auto Pets. Some of her choices of favorite game series' include Ace Attorney, Fire Emblem, and Pokémon.
Appearance[]
She has long dark hair with a wavy side ponytail with purple hair accessories (a rose/flower with flowing cloth and a glowing purple skull) and purple eyes. She wears a gold necklace around her neck with a purplish pink oval jewel at the end. She also has purple boots with a golden vine/leaves wrapping around them.
Singing & Acting[]
Ophelia is a talented singer, being vocally trained, and proficient in belting and classical Italian singing. She has an incredibly diverse and wide vocal range that allows her to sing songs of almost any genre, but has a particular affinity for singing songs from Broadway, musicals, opera, and pop. When asked, her choice of favorite genre to sing was musicals. Since her debut, she has sang many well-known songs in vastly different genres, ranging from Fire Force's opening "Spark Again", to Doki Doki Literature Club's ending song "Your Reality", to Fire Emblem's "Edge of Dawn", and much in between.
In terms of official releases, she released her first own full original song "'Til Midnight" on August 28th, 2022. She has also released several covers; in order of release being "Spark Again", "My Sweetheart Heart", and "Level Up".
She is also proficient in acting, having a history in theatre and performance and thorough knowledge of the voice, which shines through in her various ASMR videos and when she sings certain songs with acting woven into them. The two absolute best examples of this is her performance of the song "See I'm Smiling" from the musical "The Last Five Years", and her performance of "Michael In The Bathroom" from the musical "Be More Chill". She has also held several streams in which she studies the patterns of speech and dialect of other popular VTubers in an attempt to recreate their voice, such as this one of Inugami Korone.

On 25 January, VReverie announced that Ophelia Midnight would be graduating on February 11. Her channel content will stay up, however it will no longer be updated.

- Ophelia's favorite kind of tea is Chai, with extra milk.
- She has three cats, named Spoon, Pippin, and Juniper.
- She once ate pizza covered in mayonnaise in a bet for a hundred dollars, and discovered she actually somewhat liked it. This inspired a future "Cursed Pizza Party" stream in which viewers could donate to add toppings such as mayonnaise, cucumbers, hot sauce, onions, and sour candies onto her pizza to eat.
- Her favorite character from Ace Attorney is Miles Edgeworth, whom she often refers to as her son.
- One of her favorite actresses is Susan Egan, particularly in her part as Megara in Disney's "Hercules".
- One of her favorite musicals is Waitress, which she has opted to see another time, instead of other musicals she intended to view for the first time, on several occasions.
- Her least favorite color is yellow.
- There are several alternate differently voiced versions of Ophelia, coined "the Ophieverse", that come out on certain occasions. Examples include "Brophelia Chadnight", "Sir Oscar Mister Sir Misternight", and most notably, her total opposite version is almost identical to herself in appearance, but with a yellow and brown color scheme with her ponytail tied on the opposite side, and is named "Alicia Sunlight". It is currently assumed that she may have killed Alicia Sunlight, implied by the beginning segment of her first stream of the game "Cult of the Lamb".
- She is a fan of the popular streamer Ludwig, having occasionally mimicked his iconic "BOYS", and mentioning watching some of his streams in the past.
