Otonose Kanade (音乃瀬奏) is a Japanese-speaking South Korean Virtual YouTuber affiliated with hololive DEV_IS, a branch of hololive production. She debuted in 2023 as part of the unit ReGLOSS alongside Hiodoshi Ao, Ichijou Ririka, Juufuutei Raden and Todoroki Hajime.

Personality
Otonose Kanade is a unique character in the Hololive ReGLOSS unit, embodying a fascinating duality that captivates her audience. On the other hand, Kanade is equally celebrated for her comedic talent, revealing a more playful and spontaneous side, particularly evident during her participation in Hololive's GTA roleplay events. Appearance
She has light reddish eyes with long blonde hair in a side ponytail in a red ribbon with pink underneath and music note hair clips. She wears a white jacket with bows and piano key accents and a sailor uniform like beige dress. She wears light vanilla flats with red bows on them.
History
Background
Kanade was inspired to join hololive after their various group songs left her with the impression that the agency took music production seriously. At audition, she sang Onsha no Inu, a song about an interviewee who pledges to be the company's dog. She also played the Yu-Gi-Oh! BGM Passionate Duelist on recorder, to the interviewers' amusement. She initially failed in her first audition, but as accepted at the second attempt.[2]
Kanade's YouTube channel was created on 21 July 2023, and her Twitter account was also created in this month. A YouTube channel for hololive DEV_IS was created on 21 August.
hololive DEV_IS was initially teased during the conclusion of hololive's SPLASH PARTY! Night concert with a short video on 27 August 2023. The teaser was also shared later that day on both hololive's Twitter account and hololive DEV_IS YouTube channel.[3]
On 29 August 2023, the hololive DEV_IS YouTube channel released short videos of the members in a countdown leading to the project's reveal, Kanade's teaser was the second featuring a solo member of the group.[4]
On 4 September, after finishing the countdown, hololive DEV_IS YouTube channel introduced the group ReGLOSS along with the music video "Shunkan Heartbeat", revealing the identities of all its members as well as their channels and social media accounts.[5] Kanade also made her first tweet on this date.[6] Kanade's teaser video from hololive DEV_IS channel was also uploaded to her personal channel, now fully displaying her face.[7]
On 7 September, hololive DEV_IS's YouTube channel uploaded another preview video, this time showing ReGLOSS' members actual models and appearances outside of their unified group clothes.[8]
Kanade debuted on 9 September 2023, the second ReGLOSS member to do so. After the stream, she released her first solo cover song "Namae no Nai Kaibutsu" by EGOIST.[9]
2023
On 10 September, Kanade reached 100,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.
On 28 September, Kanade celebrated her YouTube channel monetization and enabled Super Chat feature.[10]
On 10 October, Kanade had her first collaboration cover along with ReGLOSS, the song "REALiZE" by LiSA.
On 20 October, Kanade reached 200,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.[11]
On 29 November, she opened membership feature on her YouTube channel.[12]
2024
On 14 February, Kanade reached 300,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.
On 7 June, she reached 400,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel during an endurance karaoke stream.[13][14]
On 10 September, during ReGLOSS first anniversary, they announced their first 3D live "Reach the top", released their first group album "ReGLOSS" and their new original song "feelingradation."[15] hololive DEV_IS also opened membership feature on its YouTube channel.
On 28 September, during the "Reach the Top" 3D Live, ReGLOSS debuted their 3D models. Two different costumes were revealed, their group uniforms and later their default outfits.[16]
On 7 October, Kanade reached 500,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel during an endurance karaoke stream, making her the 65th hololive member and the last ReGLOSS member to reach the milestone.[17][18]
2025
On 10 January, Kanade and other members of -ReGLOSS- debuted their 3D black sport tracksuit costumes.[19]
On 27 January, Kanade reached 600,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel during an endurance karaoke stream.[20][21]
On 20 April, during her first 3D birthday live, Kanade released her first original song "GREATEST."[22]
On 7 June, Kanade reached 700,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel during an endurance karaoke stream.[23][24]

Events
- On 9 December 2024, SWEETS PARADISE announced a collaboration café with -ReGLOSS-, featuring limited menus and merchandise. The collaboration would be available from 4 February 2025 to 16 March 2025 at 3 SWEETS PARADISE stores in Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya.[25][26]
