Palette Project, abbreviated as PalePro (パレプロ) and formerly known as Alt!! (アルト), is a group of Virtual idol YouTubers under the company Brave Group. It currently consists of seven members and five trainees.[1][2]

2018[]
On 15 July, Palette Project opened its YouTube account under the name "Alt!!".[4]
On 23 July, the channel uploaded its first video, a cover of Kagame Rin's "Melancholic" by Akatsuki Clara.[5]
On 22 August, Alt!! released an original song for its debut tilted "StAlt!!"[6]
On 1 September, Alt!! held its first YouTube livestream where members introduced themselves as a virtual idol unit.[7]
On 9 December, Alt!! released its second single titled "Three Piece."[8]
On 30 December, Alt!! held its first offline live at Ikebukuro Nico Nico Honsha. The group sang "Three Piece" for its opening song.[9]
2019[]
On 26 February, Tohsaka Yura took an indefinite hiatus due to her poor health.[10] She would later resume activities during the latter part of the year.
On 7 June, Alt!! held its first anniversary live at Buion. A livestream was also held on its YouTube channel.[11]
On 8 June, Alt!! held its second Live titled "TA-NO-SHI-MOVE!!!". The event was held at at Akihabara P.A.R.M.S., where Rona and Clara performed live.[12]
On 3 July, Alt!! YouTube channel held a livestream announcing the start of Palette Project. Three new members were announced, namely Kaname Tokiwa, Kotoha Fujimiya, and Helena Shiragani.[13]
On 6 November, Helena Shiragani's contract was terminated due to breach of confidentiality reasons.[14]
On 29 December, it was announced that Kamina Kohane and Eko Amagasaki will be joining Palette Project.[15]
2020[]
On 4 February, it was announced that Kyouka Eba will be joining Palette Project.[16]
On 9 June, new member Ayumu Kitami officially joined Palette Project.[17]
On 28 July, Eko Amagasaki graduated from Palette Project to continue as an independent.[18] A graduation broadcast was held on July 28.[19]
On 18 August, it was announced that Hanon Kanaru will be joining Palette Project as a new member.[20]
2021[]
On 16 March, it was declared that Yura would be graduating from Palette Project due to the difficulty of returning her activities to the same pace as before.[21] She has been inactive since the end of December 2020 due to health problems. She continued her activities as a solo artist after graduating from the group.
On 16 November, Palette Project announced its first one-man live titled "Sing with You!". The event was held on 30 December at Shinjuku Alta KeyStudio.[22]
2022[]
On 30 December, Palette Project held its second one-man live titled "Crossing for the Rainbow."[23]
2023[]
On 10 January 2023, Palette Project announced that Kamina Komane will be graduating on 31 January 2023.[24] A final live for the sub-unit "Altimate!!" was held on 30 January 2023, where Komane performed together with Kotoha Fujimiya and Rona Nanami.[25]
On 8 March, Former Altimate!! sub-unit members Rona Nanami and Kotoha Fujimiya formed a new sub-unit named "RouteHeart."[26] A live was also held on Palette Project's YouTube channel.[27]
On 14 June 2023, Palette Project announced that all members will be having their Live2D model.[28]
On 30 December, Palette Project held its third one-man live titled "Stepping Prism." A portion of the live was livestreamed on the official YouTube channel.[29]
2024[]
On 2 February 2024, Palette Project released its 9th single titled "Sweet♡Heart☆Palette♪"[30]
On 7 May 2024, Palette Project announced that PalePro Research students will be joining PalePro.[31] Teasers for the six research students were released on May 11.[32]
On 12 September 2024, Palette Project announced that Mashiro Momona will be going on an indefinite hiatus after discovering the possibility that she may have violated some contracts. The group also reported that they were already in the process of verifying the facts.[33]
On 30 September 2024, Palette Project released an update on their investigation about Mashiro Momona and her possible violation of some contracts. The announcement detailed that in Momona's past streams, the talent has made statements that could lead to a possible leak of confidential company information. It was also revealed that prior to her suspension, she was already given two warnings regarding the matter. After some discussions, it was decided that after going back from suspension, Momona will be working as an individual affiliated with MateReal Co., Ltd, the company that manages Palette Project, rather than being part of "Palette Project Research Students."[34]
On 1 October 2024, Palette Project announced that a new official store will launch on 16 October 2024. PalePro's BOOTH will still be active, with some new products be possibly distributed through BOOTH in the near future. With the announcement of the new e-commerce store, it was also announced that some products will also be partially discontinued.[35]
On 2 October 2024, Palette Project announced that all the regular members will be having a debut of their new 3D models. The stream was decided to happen on 16 October 2024.[36]

- The three original members, who were known under the name Alt!!, were Akatsuki Clara, Nanami Rona, and Tohsaka Yura.
- Palette Project currently has three sub-unit: RouteHeart (Rona and Kotoha), Regalilia (Kyouka and Ayumu), and Sputrip (Kaname, Clara, and Hanon).
