Pankotanko Nyanko (パンコタンコにゃんこ), more commonly referred to as Nyanko Pankotanko, is an independent female English Virtual YouTuber who debuted on March 9th of 2024. She is a founding member of the independent virtual YouTuber group, babiyumeEN.
Nyanko is the Head of Programming and Audiovisual for Tsukino-Con, an annual Japanese animation and cultural convention located within British Columbia, Canada.

Personality[]
Nyanko is a charismatic, high-energy extrovert and a social butterfly, often engaging in regular and one-off collabs with a variety of other streamers. Her demeanor and speaking style are akin to an FM radio DJ, and she runs her streams in a similar format to a morning radio talk show. She has a tendency to speak in a very fast-paced manner when addressing her viewers, often firing off multiple greetings in succession each time a new viewer appears or a regular viewer returns.
Nyanko is a Babiniku, or a female character voiced by a male or male-presenting individual. Her personality is heavily influenced by American comedian Stephen Colbert, whom she considers her Oshi or idol. She has been known to do impressions on-stream of various characters, often from King of the Hill or various Abridged Series. She has recently become most notable for her impression of Team Rocket's Meowth from the animated series Pokémon.
She is generally Seiso or wholesome in her overall presentation, most notably in her utilitarian attire and her aversion to making sexual references towards her own appearance. Despite this, she engages in liberal use of profanity (a trait which she claims prevents her from being employed by actual radio stations) and will frequently take advantage of opportunities for double entendres, often to the surprise of her collab partners.

Nyanko is a Turkish Angora humanoid catgirl, featuring silvery-white hair with a heart-shaped ahoge and heterochromatic blue and yellow eyes along with a thick, silvery-white tail. She keeps her shaggy hair in a side ponytail with a large red bow with white frills that extends down to her waist. She has a heart-shaped beauty mark underneath her left eye.
She wears a pink and white chef's uniform with purple and gold accents, gold bows, and a green apron. Her apron is adorned with chains containing various trinkets, charms, and measuring spoons along with a pocket where she keeps a fresh melonpan bun on-hand at all times.
She has asymmetric pink and white stockings with purple and green shoes. She also has a variety of Decora-style hairclips that adorn her head and tail as well as individually colored nail polish on her fingernails along with an assortment of multi-color bracelets.

On 9 March 2024, Nyanko formally debuted on Twitch.
Prior to becoming a VTuber, Nyanko streamed on Twitch as a DJ under a different alias, specializing in Happy Hardcore music, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
2023[]
On 28 June, Nyanko launched her first stream as a VTuber under her previous alias with a premade 3D model.
On 10 September, she became a Twitch affiliate.
On 20 October, she finalized her order for her first Live2D model and began her formal transition to a 2D VTuber.
2024[]
On 31 August 2024, she co-founded the independent virtual YouTuber group, babiyumeEN, alongside fellow streamers, Miya Mewrilee and Hanako Amaya.
Fans[]
Nyanko refers to her fans as her NyanPals, a portmanteau of "NyanPan" and "Pals." Her subscribers are known as "NyanPan Nyationals" or "Citizens of the NyanPan Nyation" in a reference to Stephen Colbert's "Colbert Nation."
