In skits, Pending is a scatter brained, hyperactive child who has boundless optimism is contrast to his counterpart Subtitles, who views herself as an evil mastermind. Outside of the skits, Pending is still silly, but much calmer and more analytical. He loves 4X strategy games and frequently streams Europa Universalis IV. One trait that both Pending the character and Pending the person share is an obsessive love of cookies and sweets.

On 13 December 2018, Pending debuted on Youtube with a 2D model.
2019[]
On 27 June, Pending showcased his change from a Live2D model to a 3D model.[1]
2021[]
On 21 May 2021 he debuted a new Angel/Demon model during a Twitch stream.[2] The model, made by Argama Witch, can switch between Angel and Demon forms depending on Pending's mood.
