ProbablyMelody is a female Hmong-American Virtual YouTuber from the United States. She is a variety streamer who mainly streams romance visual novels, horror games from itch.io, art, drawing, and video games.

Personality[]

Mel is an earnest tomboy who loves to cause chaos. However, she easily turns into a puddle for hot 2D men and women. Despite claiming she does not like herself, she is a hardworking individual who always puts her all into not only her streams but also her story time videos, karaoke/song covers, shorts, artworks, and voice acting. Mel claims to be an ambivert, as she is shy to talk to new people, but will be very chaotic once she gets to know them. Mel is generally a very upbeat person who loves to laugh and banter with her chat. Although young, she is very wise beyond her years and has shown to be very knowledgeable about romance and being a content creator. However, she is forgetful (e.g., doesn't remember her origin, often drops the topic she was talking about, occasionally forgetting she sneezed, etc.). While on the surface people will see her as a cute, adorable little pink catgirl, she is truly an unhinged loudmouth that you can't help but find endearing.

Appearance[]

Mel stands at a "towering" 160 cm (5'3") and has a slim figure. She has messy cherry blossom pink hair with pale yellow highlights underneath. Her hair is decorated with an ahoge shaped into a heart and a ponytail that splits past her neck, often seen resting on her chest. On her cat ears are wings that represent her emotions and conscience. The puffy white wings represents Positivity, while the jagged red wings represents Negativity.

Melody sports a white puffy sweatshirt with white puffy sleeves over the forearms attached by straps; the straps have hearts on the bottom and the cuffs of the forearm sleeves. The top ends of the straps have respective cat designs. Due to lacking pockets, her baggy sleeves are filled with snacks, Miku merch, and various shoujo manga. At the collar of her sweatshirt are hoodie strings and a brooch in the shape of a cherry blossom, with pebbles/beads strung hanging off of it. On the arms of her sweatshirts, just underneath her shoulders, are pouches; both with the same Positivity wing design on them, the same as the ones near her ears (these do not change like the wings near her ears, they are purely for aesthetics).

Melody dons over-the-waist suspender-like shorts, held snugly by a white and rose gold belt. Down from the belt are two straps that lead to two more pouches with a more normal design, with straps hanging from the lips of the pouches. Down at the ends of her shorts are rose gold clips with cat head designs. Melody has differing leg wear on her legs. On her left leg, she wears a pink over-the-knee high. On her right leg, she has a white ribbon wrapped around her leg, leading to a knee sock. On her feet are sneakers with the same color scheme, but swapped. The soles have a cat paw print design. She has a tail colored the same as her hair.

Melody started her story-time YouTube channel on September 24, 2013, and made her first video in 2017. She occasionally still makes videos on that account.

2019[]

Melody started streaming on Twitch in March 2019.

2020[]

Melody debuted as a VTuber in August 2020.

2022[]

On 19 August, 2022, she debuted her 1.0 model.

On 28 September, 2022, she debuted on YouTube.

On 28 October, 2022, she celebrated 300 subs.

In December 2022, she took part in Kkatamina and Valkyrae's Streamas event.
