rpr (stylised with all lowercase letters) is an English & Japanese (self taught)-speaking male independent VTuber formerly affiliated with SCARZ, now a talent for KINOTROPE. He was inspired to be a VTuber after watching Vsaikyo hosted by Shibuya HAL a.k.a the “VTuber Most Cooperatitive Tournament”.[2]

First Outfit
rpr has dark, short hair with shaved sides/an undercut, an eyebrow tattoo around his left eye, a black halo above his head, and he wears black-and-red clothes with a face mask covering his mouth and red sharp teeth drawn on the outside and a tattoo drawn on his pec. His tattoo on his left arm is the same as his irl tattoo. He also carries a gun and a katana with him.

rpr has dark, short hair with red highlights in them with shaved sides/an undercut, an eyebrow tattoo around his left eye, and he wears a black-and-redish gradient like kimono, with a animated mask covering his mouth drawn by one of his viewers and animated by keffiy his live2d animator. His eyes turn from red to gold as he activates his battle mode. He has tattoos drawn on his chest as well as his neck. His tattoos on his left arm and his neck/chest is the same as his irl tattoos. He also carries a curved katana with him that gradients between red and black depending on the angle it is viewed at.

rpr is a former professional Apex Legends player for SCARZ EU where he won the ALGS Championship 2021 EMEA on 12 June 2021.
Debut[]
On 29 May 2022, rpr made his debut as a VTuber on Twitch with the hashtag #shinigamidebut.[3] Along with the debut, he released a lore video and a cover song Tall Story (法螺話) on his YouTube channel.
To commemorate his debut, there was a giveaway campaign for 5 lucky winners of not-for-sale acrylic stand illustrated by HoeL.[2][4]
At the same time as the debut, a limited-time official store was opened, offering merchandise and other products. All proceeds from the sales of the goods would be donated to Ukraine.[2]
2022[]
On 27 July rpr released his 2nd cover song "Kimi no Myaku de Odoritakatta" (君の脈で踊りたかった, I wanted to dance in your pulse) on his YouTube Channel.
On 01 October rpr released his 3rd cover song "Ningen Datta" (人間だった, I was human) on his YouTube Channel.
On 25 December rpr released his 4th cover song "Palette" on his YouTube Channel.

On 02 October rpr released his 5th cover song "Overdose" on his YouTube Channel.
2024[]
On 19 January, rpr announced that he joined KINOTROPE as a streamer and full-time employee and would be moving to Japan in April.[5][6]

- On 10 January, rpr participated in the TIE RECON CUP2 Apex tournament along with Aoi Sakura and PRiZE as "Team rpr". The team placed 7th in the overall ranking.[7]

- rpr's fans are called "Shinidachi", a portmanteau of "shinigami" and "tomodachi".

- "LAM Bros" - rpr, Vox Akuma, and Fulgur Ovid. These three were designed by LAM. Initially a duo consisting of Vox and Fulgur until rpr made his VTuber debut.

- "Sanseiketsu" (三清傑) - rpr (as coach), Aizawa Ema, Natsuiro Matsuri and Elu. A team formed in in April 2023 for Vtuber Most Cooperatitive Tournament #5.
- "La Familia" (LFAM) - rpr, Axel Syrios, dtto., Yozuna Niu, Itoi Toi, Kuga Leo, Gorilla, Kagura Nana, Euriece, marunnn and Kohana Lam. This group was formed in July 2023 during Vaultroom x Crazy Raccoon (VCR) GTA Season 1. rpr is the leader of the gang.
- "Team rpr" - rpr, dtto. and Syusetu Kohaku. Formally competed as a team at SCARZ CUP vol.4 in October 2024 using this name, and it's also a recurring Apex Ranked collab group.
- "Team ICU/MRG" - rpr, Euriece and Crylix. Formally competed as a team in BLGS where they managed to reach regional finals over the span of 4 weeks of qualifying rounds.

- rpr shares his character designer with Vox Akuma and Fulgur Ovid of NIJISANJI EN, Kureiji Ollie of hololive Indonesia, Choya Hanabi of VSPO! and independent VTubers Ganba Ruuko, BakenVT and Kanaria. LAM also illustrated Kujo Ringo, Kujo Natsume, Kujo Anzu, Kujo Lychee and VAV AI.

rpr is a Shinigami. After countless battles, he determined that he was bored and climbed a tower full of monsters. After slaying a Cerberus-like creature on the 666th floor, with that clearing every single floor of said tower, he decided it would be time to dominate another realm.[citation needed]
