RainyRentyn (often shortened to Rainy) is an English-speaking female independent VTuber, artist, and singer based in the United States.[10] She is a rain-themed magical girl. She is known for using a wide array of different 2D and 3D models, most of which include multiple variants and many changeable options.

Personality[]
Rainy has a very energetic, outgoing, and excitable personality. She regularly streams for 4 to 8 hours at a time, sometimes even longer. She interacts with her chat a lot and is always happy to answer questions about VTubing and streaming in much details. Since both her VTuber avatar and her on-stream personality are based on her IRL person,[12] she is very open about behind-the-scenes details.
She is very passionate about her VTubing, art, singing, and cosplay. Her dream is making a full-time career out of content creation[10] and she's spending a lot of effort to work towards that goal.
She describes herself as very in touch with her emotions. She both laughs and cries easily, often one right after the other. Most of the time she tends to act silly and playful, but she doesn't shy away from occasional deep discussions about serious topics.
She can get easily distracted, which regularly leads to situations where she starts talking about several topics at the same time, switching between them in quick succession. However, most if not all of the different conversational threads will usually be concluded before the end of the stream.
Appearance[]
She has short wavy two-toned blonde and brown hair with an opalescent halo. Her eyes are green with clover shaped pupils. Her main outfit is a short blue dress with light-blue vertical pinstripes, a sailor collar, a large blue bow on the lower back, and a bright red ribbon with a golden glowing star in the center on the chest. Additionally she's wearing a blue bolero jacket, light-blue thigh high stockings, oversized blue rubber boots, and a golden star-shaped chain earring on her right ear.

On 20 July she streamed as a VTuber for the first time using her Chibi Live2D model (Rainy 1.0).[2]
2022[]
On 30 April she debuted her Main and Comfy Live2D models (Rainy 2.0) as well as her Low Poly 3D model.[2]
On 23 July she reached 2k followers on Twitch.[1]
On 11 October she debuted her Halloween 3D model.[2]
On 1 November she debuted her Main and Comfy 3D models.[2]
On 3 December she debuted her Christmas 3D model.[2]
2023[]
On 13 March she reached 3k followers on Twitch.[1]
On 27 April she began an uncapped subathon,[13] which lasted continuously for 23.5 days,[14] until 20 May[15] not counting an interruption due to a prolonged power outage[16] and a health-related break, during which some of her moderators streamed on her channel.
On 18 July she reached 4k followers on Twitch.
On 28 July she debuted her Chibi Voxel 3D model.
On 29 July she debuted her Chibi Waitress Live2D model during her 12-hour birthday stream.[17]
On 23 September she debuted her Chibi Grimolin Live2D model.
On 5 October she reached 5k followers on Twitch[1] as well as 500 subscribers on YouTube[18] after having streamed almost every day in september for Twitch's Subtember event.

On 5 December it was revealed she had been selected as a founder for Twitch's new VTuber Creator Club alongside belbeeps, BigNoseBug, BlazetteMidnight, Miss Lala, Neko Mikki, Onsta, Pomatomaster, and SemiSpri.[26]
On 20 December she was spotlighted as one of Twitch's 15 under 15k.[27]

On 19 January she reached 2k subscribers on YouTube.[28]
On 23 February she debuted her Main and Slime Chibi Pixel Live2D models.
On 12 March she debuted her Low Poly Waitress 3D model while being featured on Twitch's front page for the second time.[29]

- Her fans are known as "Cloud Companions".[10] They can be found on her Discord. Their official design was revealed in promotional artwork[30] for her birthday stream on 2023/07/29.
Trivia[]
- She can't do math,[31] for which her chat regularly calls her out using a redeem in the style of the Math Lady meme.
- Outside of her regular streaming activities she is also known for her IRL cosplays, which she occasionally shows off on camera instead of using a VTuber avatar. Her cosplays can also be seen on her social media accounts.
- She speaks some Japanese and can read both Hiragana and Katakana.[32]
- She has arachnophobia and avoids playing games containing spiders.
- She has a BFA in Digital Arts & Animation.[33]
- She has two cats named Dutch and Skadi.[34]
