The Artist with the God Eyes, Raora Panthera is endowed with investigative and descriptive prowess.

Her means of information gathering are diverse, utilizing not only her agility and social skills, but also various social media platforms and other… unique methods.

The facial composites she draws based on the information she gathers are renowned for their accuracy, almost as if she was looking directly at the criminals as she draws.

However, these days, her gaze is directed towards finding new pizza joints and enjoying the pop culture of the far east.

Personality

Raora is joyful, patient, and friendly. She has a soft, soothing attitude, and her laughter is contagious. She is always positive and kind of an airhead, and she doesn't swear. Although usually gentle in demeanor, she isn't afraid to put her foot down on important matters: pizza toppings, cooking pasta, or the Chattini's constant demands to receive jetpacks.

Appearance

Raora has long pink hair with a white streak, and pink cat ears and a long fuzzy tail to match. She has yellow eyes, although they appear to glow bright aquamarine when she wills it. She has tiny fangs.

She wears a white and black outfit with a pink off-shoulder coat that includes a gap for her tail. Her outfit includes white stockings, a round black hat, a pair of silver tinted goggles atop her head, and a single glove on her right hand. She also wears an enigmatic amulet with a blue gemstone. She can remove her googles, hat and coat.

History

Background

Raora first became a fan of VTubers when she watched clips of hololive member Inugami Korone. She admired the sense of joy Korone expressed during streams, and cites Korone as a major source of inspiration to becoming a VTuber herself.

Raora's YouTube channel was created on 3 April 2024, and her Twitter account was registered in the same month. In early production, her codename was "Pizza." She chose her codename herself.

Raora was announced as one of four members of hololive English -Justice- on 18 June 2024 in a video titled The Mission Begins! Raora made her first tweet shortly after. This was followed by a short profile video, titled I see you!

The announcement of hololive English fourth generation took most of the VTuber community by surprise. The previous English generation, Advent, had debuted less than a year earlier, and Cover's last quarterly report had suggested a strategy of less frequent VTuber debuts. The names of the new members had been leaked by trademark registration a few hours prior to their official announcement.

Prior to debut, the members of Justice recorded an audio series of "missions" where they visited a shrine to wish for a successful debut, visited a haunted house, visited a maid cafe, and met with FUWAMOCO for advice. The clips would not be released until December 2024.

Raora reached 100,000 YouTube subscribers prior to debut.

Debut

Raora made her debut stream on 22 June 2024 at 8:45PM PDT. It was attended by over 110,000 viewers at peak.

It was followed by the release of her cover of the DECO*27 song Hibana.

Immediately following this, the Justice debut event concluded with the release of their first original single, ABOVE BELOW, and the first Justice collab on 22 June at 9:30 PM PDT.

2024

On 24 June, Raora reached 200,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

On 7 July, she celebrated her YouTube channel monetization and enabled Super Chat feature.

On 20 July, she opened YouTube membership feature.

On 22 July, she reached 300,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel during a stream of the game Minecraft with -Justice-.

On 31 August, as part of the ENigmatic Recollection project, hololive English members debuted a new accessory for their main 2D costumes. They wear the white and blue cloaks first seen in the project's introduction video and related concept art. The cloak includes a blue gem containing a symbol that represents their affiliated guilds.

On 31 October, Raora and her genmates debuted their 3D Halloween chibi models during Justice's Haunted Investigation event in VR Chat.

On 16 November, she reached 400,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel during a drawing stream.

On 28 December, -Justice- celebrated their half year anniversary. During the stream they announced that they would receive New Year costumes.

2025

On 1 January, Raora debuted her new year costume. Raora has high-long, twintails, decorated with white and golden ribbons. To the left she wears a white mask with the form of a panther. Raora uses a black choker with a pink ribbon and two small bicolored hearts hanging from a circular, golden pin, two strings are attached to this pin and go down through her neckline. Raora wears a shoulderless, long sleeved, white kimono with golden and pink edges. The sleeves have a wide, white, fluffy section and the edges have a semicircular pattern in pink. Her obi is layered with a pink button layer and a black upper layer with golden pattern, to the side the obi has a blue and white ribbon similar in shape to a pinwheel. Her skirt has a cut to the side, revealing her leg and that the inner section is pink, on the other side the kimono has the pattern of a pink panther. Raora wears long, white socks and black sandals. Raora can carry a Chattino wearing a haori and hold a brush.

On 28 February, Ina, Bijou, Gigi and Raora debuted new Palico mascots as part of a sponsor by Monster Hunter Wilds.

On 26 March, she reached 500,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel during a stream of the game Galaxy Burger with Mori Calliope. Raora is the 67th hololive member and also the 2nd -Justice- member to reach the milestone.

On 16 June, hololive announced -Justice- would get 3D models in August.

On 10 August, Raora debuted her 3D model on YouTube. Raora can remove her coat. She also made the debut performance of her first original song, Gacha x Gacha ADVENTURE!

On 23 August, -Justice- debuted their hololive 6th fes. Color Rise Harmony 3D idol costumes during the first day of hololive English 3rd concert "All for One."

On 24 October, Raora debuted her first original song "Gacha×Gacha ADVENTURE!"

On 1 November, Raora debuted a new accessory for her main costume. She wears a light blue and white Chattino inspired costume.

On 23 November, Raora announced that she would go on an indefinite hiatus from all streaming activities due to needing surgery to remove vocal cord nodules. Her last stream before the break was 27 November.

2026

On 3 January, Raora returned with a stream titled "Doom."

On 5 January, Raora and Gigi debuted their third 2D costumes as a part of a collaboration with the game Monster Hunter Wilds. Raora has a short hairstyle. Raora wears a black and white maid costume, the outfit has red armor and boots inspired by Rathalos. She uses a red and white mob cap with black horns. On the back Raora has a see-through light ribbon with black assets.

On 10 January, she reached 600,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

• "Raora" is likely a reference to the word "roar," the sound made by a large wild cat.
• "Panthera" is the scientific name of genus of large wild cats. The word "panther" is used to refer to a large wild cat, although it is not the name of any specific species of cat. It is similar to "pantera," the Italian word for "panther."
