Appearance

Rekson is a foxboy and not a sausage dog, using the VRChat Rindo model as his base, the same model that Filian uses. He has short, white hair with fluffy ears and orange highlights. His eyes are purple with barely visible pupils. He typically dresses in black clothing with orange accents, but his outfit can be changed into various different cursed outfits through bit cheers.

He claims to be either a fox or a cat, but can’t ever seem to make up his mind about what animal he embodies. He claims that his VRChat avatar is a catboy, but his channel icon is a fox and has streamed in a fox model on multiple occasions. Rekson is also known for roasting other VTubers. He streams on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with bonus streams during the weekend when available, which is typically Sundays.

Lore

Rekson is ChaChaYourVMom’s biological son and Filian's twin. After dropping him too many times on his head, he suffered severe brain damage which led her to abandon him in an an alleyway dumpster. He was then found by Mysteli who adopted him and raised him. As Mysteli faced some financial hardship in early life, she had to put him on 'special' diets which led him to learn how to eat rocks and soap being his favorite food. He went to McDonald's Hamburger University and got his bachelor in Hambergerology. He has a delusion about being a CTO while according to his mom, he is in fact just a furry cat girl on the internet.

History

Background

Before becoming a VTuber, Rekson started out as a regular viewer of Filian. He quickly gained popularity after his cursed gaming setup video, where he pulled 6 bottles of lotion from random places in his room accompanied by suspicious fanart of Filian. He then became a mod, a roaster, an entrepreneur, and a regular guest character on Filian’s stream. Rekson is Filian’s go to guy for rush content, giving him as little as 10 minutes to prepare. The gaming setup video earned him the alias “Lotion Guy”, a title that Rekson has tried to shed ever since to little success.

2023

He has been a Cursed Sales Pitch guy for Filian and ProjektMelody with the "Filian Pocket Pillow" a cursed dakimakura pillow, deez nuts dictionary, cinnamon toast cheese, the duck whistle, P.A.N.T.S, and the infamous Fildo. Filian and Mizkif with the product "The Knut Sack" a fanny pack, Filian and Bao with "Bottoms Up!" a VTuber dating app. Then Filian and LucyPyre with "VTuber Tactics" a VTuber trading card game. And finally, Filian, Megalodon, and Camila while presenting VTubing for Dummies, a cursed guide on how to be successful as a VTuber.

He was also a Teacher for a Filian and Neuro-Sama collab. But has yet to reprise the role.

He also appeared in a Filian and Snuffy VRChat collab briefly in which he plugged Filian's Gamer Supps Waifu Cup.

2024

As of May 2024 Rekson has revealed that his cursed VTuber card game "VTuber Tactics" is in production as a video game with an indie developer.

On 3rd May, he was the host and writer of Filian's Ranking Game during her collab with Fefe.

Rekson has been featured in various Filian collabs as a Cursed Trivia host and Cursed Sales Pitch guy, and a diss track rap artist targeting specifically VTubers. As of May 2024 he has targeted Filian (3 times), Shylily, LaynaLazar, and now graduated VTubers LolaLoading and Punkalopi.

On 13 May, he hosted and co-streamed Rekson's VTuber Roast of Filian, featuring guest roasters Neuro-sama/Vedal, Trickywi, Bao, Lucy Pyre, MurderCrumpet, and Drumsy.

On 2nd August, he hosted and co-streamed a Cursed Twitch VTuber Spelling Bee, featuring Filian, Neuro-sama, KanekoLumi, MurderCrumpet, LaynaLazar, Camila, Toma, LucyPyre, & Sayu Sincronisity as contestants.

On 20 August, he collabed with MurderCrumpet on a date and got crumpet porgananent. Crumpet later had an abortion.

On 2nd December, he hosted madgabs rebranded "CrapYap" for Filian, featuring Filian, Camila, MichiMochievee, and CottontailVA.

He has been a Cursed Trivia Host for Filian and Projekt Melody, then later Filian and Vienna.

On 20 December, he hosted a painstakingly recreated tabletop simulator version of the board game snakeoil salesman. This collab featured Filian, LaynaLazar, NyanaBanana, Toma, and Kirsche.

On 31 December, he streamed his second annual Rekson "rekky" awards show, making good on his promise to make it a yearly event.

2025

On 31 January, Rekson got his first W of the year by getting jumped in Tabletop Simulator during a Filian collab.

On 21 April, Rekson hosted filian's second annual easter scavenger hunt.

On 25 April, Rekson hosted the second episode of "filly feud" which had vtubers against fleshtubers such as PaymoneyWubby.

On 23 May, Rekson was one of the 'victims' of the "scam" agency ChaCha's Fussy Baby Agency Inc. whose representatives, ChaCha and Filian, sold 10 units of CloutCloud^TM for $250 (a one-off fee due to nepotism).

On 1 July, Rekson collabed with HoneyTheKawaiiBunny. Honey asserted dominance over Rekson with a 69% ratio on a shared hype train and then proceeded to threaten to make him into a taxidemry fox when he dies.

On 25 July, Rekson prosecuted Filian for being a terrible streamer in the Court of the Honorable CottontailVA. Filian was made to represent herself after she asked for Diddy's lawyer as counsel. The court sketch artist was HoneyTheKawaiiBunny and witnesses included Lucy Pyre, MariMari_EN, ChaChaYourVMom, Chair-kun the 7th and 'an average filian viewer'. 67% of the viewers voted Filian guilty of the crimes.

On 21 September, Rekson showed his new lotion model.

Filian-based antics

• Filian has said "Rekson you're literally Batman with prep time."
• Rekson roleplays as the CEO of a Filian merchandise company known as Rekson Inc. Despite pitching many beloved products, not a single one has started mass production. Of the most highly rated products, the one existing prototype of the "Filian Pocket Pillow" was destroyed by a Rekson Inc. employee named Sam when he stress tested it, the "Duck Whistle" escaped and murdered several Filian emotes, the "Fildo" was shipped to Filian and a string of not so anonymous customer reviews reveals that Filian still has the prototype and is yet to return it, the "Knut Sack" never made it past the concept stage after Rekson realized he had been pronouncing it wrong and understood the connotation, and "Bottoms Up" got spammed by alt accounts. However, the trading card game "VTuber Tactics" has been receiving a lot of praise, and with no flaws that would hold up mass production, there is a chance it could be the first mass produced product by Rekson Inc.
• Despite frequently claiming to be not as lewd as Filian, Rekson does own a certain “toy” which he turned on while on voice call with NarikoSai while she was streaming to troll her.
• Rekson says that he owes a lot to Filian for helping him out of a depressed time in his life.
• Rekson sent a large amount of fake currency to Filian during a P.O. Box stream with a note from CooksieQ saying that it was "her cut" as per their arrangement, insinuating that Filian has a backdoor deal with Cooksie where she Flashbangs chat in exchange for some of the clip money. There was an additional note explaining that it was from Rekson, but Filian missed it and did not seem to understand what the note and money was insinuating.
• Rekson used to have a large collection of Filian sound alerts that could be played on his stream, but when Filian was forced to add Sinder’s Fussy Baby Filian sound alert for a You Laugh You Lose punishment, Filian found all of Rekson’s sound alerts. Filian demanded he delete all of them, which Rekson did on stream, but when Rekson had only one sound alert left, “Rekson Does It With Filian”, he concluded that Filian was in the wrong and did not delete it. He then decided to hold the last sound alert hostage at gunpoint, sending a ransom note to Filian demanding that she make up for the lost content, which Filian has currently only replied to with the message "lol". Rekson has since sworn revenge on Sinder for starting it all.

• He salts his cereal in the morning because he's not of this earth.
• He won something for the first time ever in crab game at 00:05 (gmt) on 21 January 2024 in a collab with various VTubers.
• He hosted a mock award show called "The Rekkies" about his content and community members on New Years Eve 2023 and wishes to do it annually.
• Rekson was permanently banned from MotherV3’s chat without chatting once. A member of Rekson’s chat began talking about Rekson in MotherV3’s chat, and a mod banned Rekson as a result. Since Rekson had done nothing wrong, he decided to let chat draft the unban appeal as any sane moderator would see that Rekson had not chatted and did not deserve to be banned in the first place. A mod then permanently banned Rekson as a result of the unban appeal with the reason for denial being, “This is embarassing. Grow up a little.” Rekson has not let this go and is still hunting for any possible way to reach out to MotherV3 and get unbanned.
• Rekson has an impersonator who sent an email to Punkalopi under his name asking for a collab. When a chatter showed a stream clip where Punkalopi mentioned Rekson directly, Rekson freaked out. Lopi then later revealed that she had been sent a Twitter DM on top of the email about Rekson, the Twitter DM later revealed to have been sent by Xtrathiccboi, one of Rekson's mods, who pretended to be Rekson’s “Unofficial Agent”. The doppelgänger who sent the email is still yet to be found and Rekson sent Punkalopi a mod application with insane answers, which Lopi saw off stream. Sometime during this, Lopi reached out to Rekson, and Rekson trolled his chat by pretending he had someone acting as Lopi during his Partner Celebration stream which turned out to actually be Lopi. Lopi then did not respond to Rekson for weeks, the only news he received being from a chatter who asked Lopi about the Mod application directly, to which Lopi replied that since she has the only evidence that it exists, she wants to hold it over Rekson's head. Rekson then did several more collabs with Punkalopi and other VTubers, including a Lethal Company, Crab Game, GMod Prop Hunt, and Trouble in Terrorist Town. Rekson then had Punkalopi as a contestant for "Love or Sub" hosted by Tippy Hendrix, a good friend of Rekson's, where Punkalopi proceeded to bully Rekson throughout the whole show. Despite all of this, Rekson chose Lopi as his love for the show. But Lopi had a choice before the show to choose between Rekson's love or 5 Twitch subs, and she instantly chose 5 subs over love, despite the fact that she didn't even stream on Twitch. Rekson returned as a contestant in Lopi's love or sub where he responded with a diss track as retaliation for Lopi breaking his heart. Days afterward, Lopi was incinerated by Enya Ignis, making Punkalopi the second VTuber to graduate shortly after being the subject of a Rekson Diss Track.
• He used to be notoriously late and was often referred to as Lateson by fans.
• Rekson is not not named “Reksongames” on Twitch by choice. The name Rekson was already taken by another account that is active just enough that Rekson (the VTuber) can’t request Twitch to take it, yet is inactive to the point where they have not responded to Rekson’s (the VTuber) requests to have his name. One of Rekson’s chatters has made it a joke to gift a sub to the inactive Rekson every month just to piss off Rekson (the VTuber). Rekson (the VTuber) stalks the inactive Rekson constantly in hopes of there being any opportunity he can seize to take the name.
• Rekson is very bad at finishing games on stream, often giving up due to either chat trolling or difficulty.
• Fans will add the 'son' to the end of other words and use it to make fun of him. This is also used for his emotes and emote submissions, a notorious case being the stalker "bushson" emote. This emote was created as a community submission in response to Filian telling LucyPyre that Rekson was her stalker and he hid in the bush outside her house (This did not actually happen according to Rekson.)
• During Rekson's charity stream, he had a punishment to donate single bits to various streamers. After he was done, he decided to donate his remaining bits to Geega, who did not acknowledge his donation. Rekson has since sworn revenge.
• His go to phrase is "Get Rekt'son(s)" This is a phrase that Rekson's chat uses. The only known time that Rekson has used that phrase was in the closing line of his VTuber's Got Talent Diss Track.
• Rekson has the strange ability to cause even the most well tested computer software to go haywire in his presence. He doesn’t appear to have any control over this ability, but live service game servers mysteriously go down the day he intends to play them, streamers who he raids or simply by being in their chat have their stream crash or technology malfunction, and his own tech, no matter how high quality it is, stops functioning in his presence. This has earned him the nickname “Scuff Demon” from LolaLoading after he raided her stream only for it to crash moments later.
• He has unfortunately terrible luck being cursed to forever experience bad timing, ill timed tech issues, and awkward moments. He has accepted this as his fate and embraces the scuff.
• Rekson has proven on stream that he can still recite most of his diss tracks without stumbling with the lyrics in front of him. He has made 5 diss tracks: 1) The finale of the "You laugh, you get roasted" stream, that got scuffed and was performed several weeks afterwards, titled "Lotion Guy". This track has an additional verse roasting Trickywi 2) The "VTubers Got Talent" Diss Track, titled "Monster Hunter". This is because the three VTubers roasted in the song, Shylily, LaynaLazar, and Filian, can be perceived as monster girls. And thus, Rekson could claim that he has played "Monster Hunter" on stream since there had been a few chatters who had been asking him to play Monster Hunter. 3) The Diss Track roasting LolaLoading after she refused to accept Rekson's ukulele apology, titled "Scuff Demon". This was Rekson's first Diss Track that caused the diss target to graduate. 4) The Diss Track performed during another Filian "You laugh, you lose" in response to Filian claiming she could knock out Rekson in one punch when Filian was ranking which VTubers she thought she could beat in a fight. The Diss Track was titled "Church Fight". 5) The Diss Track against Punkalopi as retaliation for Lopi choosing Subs over Love in Rekson's Love or Sub hosted by TippyHendrix, titled "Heartbeat". This is the second Diss Track of Rekson's that caused the target to graduate shortly thereafter. He also has one more Diss Track roasting Packgod, but this roast is not finished and was only teased as part of an April Fools video.
• Rekson can actually dance pretty well and often reminds his viewers of it while listening to meme music.
• Rekson roleplays dying on stream when chat either plays the “Bang” or “Snaps Neck” sound alert. He explains that he can come back to life because he is a catboy with 9 lives, meaning that he ends stream when he roleplays death 9 times. However, he has on occasion kept stream going even after losing 9 lives, a notorious case being his stream on 3/9/23, where the "Bang" sound alert was played 24 times. When he was questioned on how he survived in a community post the next day, he replied that, “I was rubbing it the whole time. My lamp. My genie lamp. There was a genie granting me wishes and I was rubbing it. That’s why.”
• He occasionally uses an avatar referred to by the community as "horseson" which is a man in a blue suit with a horse mask. Chat will often spam "WE WANT HORSESON" when they think it will be funny to see him.
• Rekson roasted an old man in a mobility scooter in a real life store.
• Rekson uses a game show spinning wheel program during his Elden Ring: Shadows of The Erdtree playthrough. It has been dubbed "Freel" by the community and has gone through multiple character arcs. The wheel. The inanimate object. Rekson also has a model of the wheel that has a bikini on. This community is unsavable tbh.
• Rekson has raised over $19,000 for the charity Doctors Without Borders over the course of two years.
• He loves to say that he's the best Halo player of all time. In his Halo with Viewers stream on 2/18/24, which is still published as a highlight on Rekson's Twitch channel, he did achieve a very high KDR, regularly achieving around 20 kills in a game, but his skills in Halo were not nearly as dominant as he claimed. One of Rekson's chatters, Tmillay, often matched Rekson in kills, even exceeding Rekson's kill count in several games. In addition to this, multiple members of his chat have challenged him to a 1v1 in Halo. While they should be an easy victory for the greatest Halo player, Rekson has refused every challenge, bringing much doubt to his claim.
• He often says "If 'insert thing here happens' I'll eat a shoe." after months of it catching up to him he ate a shoe on stream December 12th 2023.
• Rekson managed to wrongly predict so many things on the VTuber Awards 2024 with 12/36 predictions correct (mostly not winner predictions) and only 4/171 viewers won bingo. Notable bad predictions - that it would not be the hololive awards and that Mythos would not win rising VTuber organization.
• Rekson famously helped his ex girlfriend cremate her horse after it passed.

• As part of ChaChaYourVMom's 2 year anniversary stream, Rekson joined many other VTubers ChaCha has adopted as her children to sing "You Are My Sunshine". Along with singing together, each VTuber also got a solo part of the song, Rekson's part being the lyrics "When I woke up". However, due to slurring his words, his part on replay sounded more like, "When I woggup". This combined with Rekson's general disdain for his own singing voice has led this to be a much hated moment for him and something friends and chat torment him with relentlessly.
• On 8/7/2025, Rekson hosted a Peak Tournament with Mykora, Evanit0, TippyHendrix, AngelSteps, NarikoSai, AzuratheAzureDragon, ninerxnine, and Maple_Chicken. On that day, Discord Voice chat was temorarily down at the exact time the tournament was due to start, and during this stream, his mere presence caused his own stream to crash twice, Bluescreened the PC of a viewer trying to keep score, caused the server to crash no less than three times, and crashed Tmillay, who was supervising the tournament with Rekson, as the escape sequence played. Thus cementing his existence as the Scuff Demon of Twitch.

• Rekson was known as "Big G" in highschool.
• Rekson's best known musical composition, "Drudge," was published in 2010 on YouTube. Notably, the only visible graphic is the text "No Video Stream in Input" due to Rekson not knowing how to properly use the software he used to record the musical piece. Drudge has been a long time in-joke of Rekson's community and friends with several of his VTuber friends referencing it in their streams or having sound alerts of it.
