Rikudou Yura (六道ユラ) is an independent female English Virtual YouTuber.

She debuted as member of the English Virtual YouTuber agency PRISM Project's 3rd Generation, along with Miyoshino Shiki, Suzune Nia and Pengin Pina.

Just like the rest of PRISM Project Members Yura Rikudou is a special agent from a different timeline, which has been sent back to the past to prevent the threat of humans losing interest and passion for others.

She is also one of the two representative of the "West" half of PRISM Project Generation 3's theme "East meets West" along with Pina Pengin.

Personality

Yura is known to be kind and approachable in her livestreams she makes it to a point to welcome new viewers and aims to remember most members of the people in livechat. She describes herself as a earnest girl and is very straightforward with regards to anything. She is very honest and likes to talk about different topics and clearly states her opinions during conversations presented to her.

She enjoys talking about mostly anything whether it be serious, mundane or even life stories during streams. She is a very caring person and makes it to a point to always remind her viewers to take care of themselves and put themselves first before hers. She also values loyalty among many other virtues. Yura is a very hardworking person and loves to try her hand at everything and improve or learn new skills. She always emphasizes that her viewers along with playing game and content creation are what makes her happy the most.

Appearance

Yura Rikudou is a dullahan vtuber belonging to generation 3 of PRISM PROJECT, being part of the WEST motif mythology the group is based on.

Being a dullahan Yura Rikudou most prominent character trait is her missing neck that is widely different from others. Instead of a normal neck Yura's head appears to be floating above her collar area, the base of it emanating Blue spectral flames that are constantly producing a pale blue light.

Yura is the tallest among all prism agents measuring up to 171cm in height completely dwarfing Araka Luto, being literally heads taller than her. Yura is considered to be one of the most well endowed in terms of bust size among all prism agents.

Yura has long lustrous locks of blue hair reaching her back accentuated by tufts of hair that are highlighted in a pale blue luminous iridescent glow, her hair is styled in two large twintails bound in the middle section by a hair tie. Her hair also has an ahoge that is located on top of her head just sitting behind her hair accessory which is a black tiara. She styles her hair in a simple bangs with one side tucked away on the left side, the two longer locks upfront are styled in a classic ringlet curls that reaches her bust line highlighting the impression of a sophistication and prim image. Her eyes are characterized by gradient hues of blue that refracts light that makes it so her iris are in a constant shimmer, the most prominent eye feature which are the white X's centered on her iris can also changed to Cross sparkles during excitement.

Yura exhibits the image of a young elegant lady that exudes status. Yura's clothing consist of a simple sleeveless beige one piece dress that blooms downward to her upper legs forming the image of puffed upped skirt. It is paired with a blue sleeveless vest with yellow design accents that is worn on top of her dress which wraps around her shoulders and midsection leaving out an open cleavage area window not covered by her dress shirt, with the vest lines highlighting her figure and creating a slim body line. Another accessory she has is a metallic ornament placed on her collarbones that is decorated with 5 glowing spikes and decorative accents.

She also wears separated puffed sleeves on her arms with the area on the upper arms exposed and it being finished with gold designs adorning the sleeves and having a yellow pinstriped pattern on them. She also has painted nails. Yura also wears blue long thigh high socks that reaches her upper legs, the socks that appears to fade as it goes downwards and takes on a pale blue glow reaching down to her shoes that also share the same glow and emits trails of spectral flame.

Yura also wears a leather holster that wraps around her waist that holds her weapon which is a Dagger that has a traditional long hilt and extended cross guards, the dagger edge is forged with a wide cutting edge that has serrated large bladed teeth similarly fashioned to old dagger type sword breakers that functions as a defensive and evisceration tool with its jagged edge.

History

Background

On 2 June 2021, the PRISM Project Twitter account sent out a tweet advertising their new feature, PRISM Gacha. Hours later, PRISM Project tweeted an emergency announcement saying they had received reports of a mysterious error message. On 6 June, Rikudou Yura sent out her first tweet. PRISM Project then tweeted an alert noting that the culprits of the data breach had been identified by name. Yura and the other 3rd Generation members were the culprits in question. At the time, Yura and the other members appeared as silhouettes. On 14 June, Yura along with the other 3rd Generation members, was given a full reveal of her model on the PRISM Project YouTube channel.

On 27 June 2022, Yura succesfully debut as part of PRISM Project Generation 3. She has also released to cover songs back to back from June 25 and 26 which was a Cover of Mika Nakashima's "Boku Ga Shinou To Omottanowa" and a Cover of Kenshi Yonezu's "Umi No Yuurei" respectively.

2021

On 7 July, Yura Rikudou's Channel held a celebration stream commemorating the channel Monetization and reaching the 10,000 subscribers milestone.

On 11-12 July, she has also done a 24 hours endurance stream titled as "A Day with Yura" as a special stream for the previous milestones achieved. Another unique stream was held July 18 which was a "Ara Ara Stream" which basically limits her to the use of only the word Ara Ara to be the only word she can use on stream which has a mechanic of the stream length extending in duration in relation to stream donations.

On 20 July, Yura had a first collab stream with streamer from Phase-Connect Rinkou Ashelia playing the Coop game "A Way Out."

On 28 July marks another release of a new Cover song which is Kanaria's "Eye" releasing only a few days after the original song release with Yura's cover being solely all produced and sung all by herself up to the song cover delivery.

On 14 August, Yura collaborated with her fellow Gen 3 members to release a cover of K-On's popular song "Don't Say Lazy" by Ho-kago Tea Time, marking the first Gen 3 collab Song Cover of the group.

On 18 August, Yura reached 20,000 suscribers on her Youtube channel.

On 4 September, she released her first original song "Devotion."

On 4 December, Yura opened her channel membership feature.

On 28 December, Yura 6 months anniversary. She also revealed a new chibi model that she made herself.

2022

On 14 January, Yura celebrated her birthday. She also revealed her 3D model in VR chat.

On 28 February, Yura reached 30,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

On 26 June, Yura along with her fellow 3rd generation members celebrated their one year anniversary, and also released their first original song "Prismatic Dream."

On 21 July, Yura debuted her chibi 3D model.

On 1 August, she debuted her 3D Yukata.

On 31 October, she reached 40,000 subscribers on YouTube channel.

On 31 December, she debuted her 3D Kimono.

2023

On 10 December, she released her second original song "Moonlight Fleur."

2024

End of PRISM

On 2 March, Sony Music Entertainment Japan announced that PRISM Project would cease operations after 31 March. Thereafter, all active PRISM talents (including Yura) would become independent and have the rights to their characters transferred to them. On 10 March, PRISM Project's 3rd Generation, of which Yura is a member, announced that their generation would be known as Requiem, and that Requiem would continue even after PRISM Project's dissolution.

On 10 March, Yura debuted her second 2D outfit.

On 9 April, she reached 50,000 subscribers on YouTube channel.

On 15 June, she released her third original song "Whiskey."

On 28 June, she is scheduled to debut her 3D model.

Events

• On 20 October 2022, Anime Festival Asia announced on Twitter that Yura along with Kamizuki Naki, Nagare Sara, Oumiya Emma, Tamachi Kanna, and Liliana Vampaia would be guests at the Day Stage Segment "Whose VTuber Line Is It, Anyway?" within the framework of the event "Anime Festival Asia Singapore 2022," which would be held from 25-27 November 2022.
• On 10 December 2023, she held a meet & greet event in VRChat for her channel members to celebrate her original song "Moonlight Fleur" release.

• Yura has a hobby of watching a lot of Movies and series during her free time, she has watched a large collection of movies across different genres and media.
• She is afraid of playing horror games contrary to her looks.
• She is also a big fan of old school JRPGs and has said that it was one of her eariy influences.

• She dislikes fishes citing that she finds them frightening at the mere sight of them. She has recounted stories of her having difficulties going to the aquarium and finding it difficult to stare at them through their enclosures, resorting with her staring at the floor throughout the whole trip. She however finds certain fishes to be tasty and makes an exception to a few of them.
• She is also not a fan of certain foods like sushi, takoyaki and anything that has mayonnaise on it and foods with odd soft consistency she does make an exception for egg and mayo sandwiches.

Miscellaneous

• Yura can speak English, Chinese and Japanese. Her father is of Hakka Chinese descent and her mother is a Japanese living in Chinese community. She attended a Japanese-speaking kindergarten, a Chinese-speaking primary school, and started studying in English since middle school. She also speaks some Cantonese and she learnt it by watching the dubbed version of Digimon anime when she was young.
• Yura is versed at singing and dancing specifically having taken ballet classes previously.
• In addition to being athletic she has some martial arts training namely wushu and kickboxing respectively.
• She is also talented at the use of a wide variety of instruments which include the violin, guitar, piano, ukulele, harmonica and drums.
• Yura is also talented at drawing and graphic design. She is known to be very hands-on on her own projects usually involving music production and content creation. Shes also involved with producing edits and graphic design projects for her genmates.
• Yura shares the same character designer with Kiryu Coco from hololive.
• She has stated that the flames on her neck have a temperature similar to that of normal human body temperature. She has stated upon curious multiple occasions that the flame cannot inflict burns upon contact and thus cannot be use for utility and culinary purposes such as cooking.
• As a dullahan one her traits which is her non-existing neck works and acts similar to a portal that serves the same purpose as a human neck making it very similar in terms of function, albeit having a different form than that of normal humans.
• She was banned from Reddit on 24 July 2021 due to her account being misidentified as a spam bot by Reddit's automated anti-spam system. She was unbanned the following day. She is the only PRISM Project member to get banned on this site.
• Yura has a purple guitar in real life, she also has a similar one in VRChat. She used it to record the cover song "Lemon" by Yonezu Kenshi.
