Rin Penrose is an independent female English-speaking Virtual YouTuber.
She debuted as member of idol-EN first generation "E-Sekai," alongside Yuko Yurei, Juna Unagi, Pochi Wanmaru, and Fuyo Cloverfield.

Rin is the self-proclaimed prince ("Not princess!") of a kingdom in another world. Though she tries to maintain a "proper" demeanor befitting her royal heritage, her true, unfathomable personality always shines through.
Personality[]
Rin is a mature person for whom elegance (but also money) matters a lot. Thus, she often puts in relief that her viewers must behave making honour to her by various fancy requests. Her genmate Fuyo Cloverfield refers to her as a tsundere. She is regularly taken as a clown by everyone else, even her genmates, due to both her behavior and her strong British accent. Rin resorts to sarcasm to make her discourse dynamic. Moreover, high speech speed is a trait put in relief in her YouTube shorts.
Due to her reputation, she lacks authority over her chat. Once, it led to one of her streams, initially planned to be an announcement stream, being interrupted continuously by the donation notification sound for 45 minutes. Then this stream turned, with the approbation of her manager, into one where she had to discuss with her mother.[2]
She is used to exposing her extravagant hobbies and opinions. For example, Rin likes talking a lot about her shark plushies she buys at Ikea. Rin also proudly extols she bases her streaming strategy not on doing her best, but making things as bad as possible, so she can distinguish herself from other streamers. Rin is a self-admitted girl failure who, despite being an adult, is unable to do basic chores like cooking or using the washing machine.
Her passion for Pikmin games is strong, and creates actual topics of conversation with a lot of her friends. She notably used this passion to become friend with Lalabell Lullaby despite the barrier language between them.

Rin has a hair cut with double tone: black and white, with small purple strands. A diamond shaped crown is a top of her head. She has heterochromia eyes, one red and blue. She wears a royal short coat and short pants, as well as thin white gloves and black boots.
She can make her hair short or fall over her shoulders at will.

On 20 November, Rin debuted. After the stream, she released her first original song "Golden Age".
2022[]
On 21 November, she streamed her debut 2.0, in which she debuted a new hairstyle and revealed her teeth.
On 22 November, her YouTube channel reached 10,000 subscribers.
On 2 December, her YouTube channel reached 20,000 subscribers. On the same day, she celebrated the monetization of her channel.
2023[]
On 4 February, Rin debuted a 48 hours donothon. The same day, her YouTube channel hit 30,000 subscribers.
On 5 February, her YouTube channel reached 40,000 subscribers.
On 8 March, her YouTube channel reached 50,000 subscribers during an endurance karaoke stream.
On 25 March, Rin Penrose became the first idol Corp member to reach 100,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.
On 1 April, the next day after her 100,000 subscribers celebration stream, Rin's YouTube channel hit 200,000.
On 18 April, Rin's YouTube channel reached 300,000 subscribers.
On 20 April, Rin revealed on stream that her 100,000 Subscriber Plaque had arrived in the mail.
On 25 May, Rin got featured on YouTube's content creator Twitter.
On 20 June, her channel reached 400,000 subscribers.
On 5 July, her YouTube channel reached 500,000 subscribers.
On 14 July, Rin announced during a stream that she, along with the rest of the idol Corp. Vtubers will be having their own official merchandise.
On 17 November, her YouTube channel reached 600,000 subscribers.
On 20 November, for E-Sekai's first anniversary, she introduced during a stream relay her chibi model, in which she wears a shark outfit.[3]
On 23 December, Rin was part of a 3D concert hosted by OshiLive, where she debuted her chibi 3D model has debut.[4]
2024[]
Leaving idol Corp[]
On 7 August, idol announced that Rin will soon leave idol and go independent following the acquisition of idol by Brave Group. A farewell stream will happen on November.[5]
On 28 August, she reached 800,000 subscribers.
Between 11 and 13 October, Rin and her mother Gin did a 3-day donothon together.
On 15 November, Rin held her final stream as an idol agency vtuber. Following her chat's will, she renamed her channel "Rin Penrose Ch. and Snebby".
On 4 December, Rin Penrose, Juna Unagi and Fuyo Cloverfield did a last collab as "E-Sekai" as indies. They opened their time capsules made on their first anniversary.[6]

- During her debut stream, when it was supposed to start by exposing her lore, Rin just pulled out a parody of the Evangelion anime opening without any clarification.
- At around 22 minutes into her debut stream, Rin begins having “technical issues.” The stream begins to have a glitching effect, and we are greeted with a visual-novel-style video involving Rin, and two other characters named Bridgette and Mea. They discuss a Princess, a Demon King, and how Rin’s channel is part of a government conspiracy. Not much information is given.
- Rin owns a sword named Clarent, which she claims was given to her as an important responsibility.[9]

- She likes: money, power, the Oxford comma, her family, IKEA sharks, Club Penguin, and Nintendo games.
- She dislikes: most foods, ice cubes in drinks, people who put things everyone dislikes in their dislikes list, spiders, and being called a princess.
- Her least favourite number is 3, as it has too many curves. This is ironic, as she was the third to debut in her generation.
- Rin is very fond of Ikea shark plushies, owning five at the time of her debut. Months later, the total rose to nine: Nibbles, Finley, Terry, Puddles, Mako, Castor, Pollux, Apollo, and Justice. 2 more were then added, known as Syrup and Neptune (both chosen by the audience), bringing the amount up to eleven.
