Rosemi Lovelock (ロゼミ ラブロック) is a female English Virtual YouTuber affiliated with NIJISANJI EN's second wave "OBSYDIA", alongside Selen Tatsuki and Petra Gurin.

Personality[]
Rosemi is a sweet and pure-hearted goofball. She likes to boast a little and show off her capabilities on-stream, though sometimes with questionable or worrisome results. She enjoys picking up on both old and new memes, and is quite skilled at a variety of games.
Contrary to what her official bio might suggest, Rosemi is a genuinely nice person with little in the way of a dark/thorny side, and is generally regarded as the most wholesome member of the EN branch. She shows surprising levels of innocence from time to time, sometimes using innuendos or double entendres without being aware of their meaning. Her insults tend to be very gentle as well, typically along the lines of "you dummies!" or "you big loser!" instead of cursing.

Background[]
On 30 November 2020, NIJISANJI opened auditions for their new English branch, with the audition period lasting until 15 December.[4] Youtube channels for NIJISANJI EN's second wave were created on 8 July 2021, and their Twitter accounts were also created in July 2021.
NIJISANJI EN's second wave, OBSYDIA, was announced on 14 July 2021, accompanied by a short teaser with the new Livers' designs and voices.[5]
Debut[]
OBSYDIA began their activities on 18 July 2021 (JST) as part of a special debut program on the NIJISANJI English channel. Rosemi was the first of the group to debut, with commentary provided by Pomu Rainpuff. Rosemi's debut stream featured a hand-drawn introductory video, and was particularly memorable due to her calling the chat pigs.
Afterwards, all three members of OBSYDIA appeared on the main channel. OBSYDIA's first original song, "Black Out", was released shortly after the debut program. The song's composition and lyrics were written by TeddyLoid and the lyrics' story was made by Ryushen.[6]
2021[]
On 29 August, her YouTube channel reached 100,000 subscribers during a Pico Park collab between LazuLight and Obsydia.
On 15 September, she opened memberships on her channel.
On 17 September, OBSYDIA's debut celebration voice packs were made available for sale.[7]
On 19 December, Rosemi's "First Step Goods" merchandise and Christmas 2021 voice pack went up for sale.
On 28 December, Rosemi held her first French-only stream.
2022[]
On 1 January, her New Year 2022 voice pack went up for sale.
On 24 February, she reached 200,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.[8]
On 15 March, her White Day 2022 voice pack went up for sale.
On 11 April, she reached 250,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.[9]
On 22 April, her Sakura Bloom 2022 voice pack went up for sale.[10]
On 4 June, Rosemi reached 300,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.[11]
On 8 July, Rosemi reached 300,000 followers on her Twitter account.[12]
On 6 August, NIJISANJI announced that Rosemi would appear on Day 1 of NijiFes 2022 alongside Petra and Selen.
On 20 August, OBSYDIA held a special announcement stream where they revealed that they would be getting new costumes. The costume debuts would be under the Twitter hashtag "#OBSYDIARunway" where the audience can also send in their outfit predictions. Her personal predictions hashtag was "#RoseAttire". [13][14][15]
On 26 August, Rosemi revealed her new outfit, a military uniform with over-the-knee boots, a long hairstyle with side tails, and a cane wrapped in thorns. Her outfit reveal also served as the conclusion of her month-long "Ministry of Supernatural Affairs" ARG.[16]
On 5 September, Rosemi reached 400,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel during a batsu wheel endurance stream.[17]
On 25 September, Rosemi premiered her first original song, "バラして！！ ROSE ME".
On 29 September, NIJISANJI announced that Rosemi would be unable to participate in NijiFes 2022 due to "unforseen circumstances."[18]
2023[]
On 5 January, Rosemi's "New Year 2023" goods went up for sale. This series featured the members of OBSYDIA and Ethyria. Merchandise included acrylic stands, kakejiku-style tapestries, hologram badges, acrylic plates, and random omamori.[19]
On 7 February, Rosemi's "Valentine's Day 2023" goods and voice pack went up for sale. In addition to typical goods such as acrylic stands, snapshot cards, and badges, merchandise included personalized jewelry for each of the four featured Livers, with Rosemi's accessory being a necklace with a briar design.[20]
2024[]
On 4 January, Rosemi debuted her 4th outfit.
On 26 January, Rosemi reached 500,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel* during the release of Tekken 8.
Following the controversy around Selen Tatsuki's termination, the YouTube channel lost over 3000 subscribers in 3 days. As of 7 February, it amounts to 497,000, nullifying previously achieved milestone.
On 7 March, Rosemi announced that she would be revealing a 3D model on March 22, 9 PM EDT.[21]
On 22 March, Rosemi debuted her 3D model, however the stream ran into some copyright issues causing the VOD to be temporarily privated.
On 17 October, Rosemi and Uki Violeta released their original song, "WE BE UNION", as part of the NIJISANJI EN project: ENcounter.

2021[]
- On 15 September, all members of LazuLight and OBSYDIA participated in the "Meltdown" game show on the official NIJISANJI EN channel.[22]
- On 22 November, all members of LazuLight, OBSYDIA, and Ethyria participated in the "Ready! Get Set! Clash!" Mario Kart game show on the official NIJISANJI EN channel, with Rosemi placing 2nd overall.
2022[]
- On 18 June, Rosemi, along with Millie Parfait, Ike Eveland, and Shu Yamino; participated in a Shadowverse Buddy System tournament celebrating the game's 6th anniversary. [23] She was coached by KSLvD and ended in 4th place with 50 points.
- On 12 July, Otakuthon announced that Rosemi, Elira Pendora, Nina Kosaka, Millie Parfait, and Enna Alouette would be attending their 2022 convention (running from 5–7 August) as in-person guests holding talk panels, autograph sessions, and a live concert.[24]
- On 23 November, WIXOSS TCG's official Twitter revealed that Rosemi would be featured in the upcoming "NIJISANJI DIVA" collaboration pack. Rosemi's card art was revealed on 13 December, and the collaboration pack was released on 24 December.[25]
2023[]
- On 6 February, OffKai Expo's official Twitter account announced that Rosemi would appear as a guest at "OffKai Gen 2" on 16 June.[26]
- On 17 May, Rosemi announced that she would be participating in the first "Lords Mobile x Nijisanji EN VTubers Battle" alongside Pomu and Nina. Running from 17 May to 7 June, this was a competition between the three Livers' in-game guilds, with scoring based on Guild Might and Castle Level. Fans could join a Liver's guild through the official collab website. Rosemi's guild was named "LETS GROW" and had the tag [NeR].[27]
- On 7 June, Japan Expo announced two panels with NIJISANJI talents with one panel dedicated for JP talents and the other for EN talents. The EN panel was on 13 July and included Selen, Luca, Shu, Ike, Vox, and Rosemi.[28]

- The official name of her fans is "Rosebuds". They are chibi pigs wearing a rose behind one ear, similar to Rosemi's.

Lore[]
- According to her introductory video, Rosemi was raised in an enclosed garden, isolated from the outside world. One day, she saw a fairy flying around and pollinating the other flowers. After a nearby bee explained to her what VTubers were, Rosemi decided to leave the garden and become a VTuber herself, also becoming Pomu's intern at S.C.A.M.
- In the "Black Out" MV, several frames identify Rosemi as "Satan."
- She claims that the rose on her head is Rosemi while the human body is a vessel.[32]
- According to her 2nd outfit reveal, Rosemi was a demon child from Hell who controls a powerful weapon called the Rose. When Hell broke out into civil war, the Demon Lord Satan used the Rose to seal Hell with a barrier of thorns. Another demon lord, Diablo, attacked Satan and fatally wounded him. To keep the Rose out of Diablo's hands, the dying Satan chose an infant Rosemi as his successor, attached the Rose to her, and sent her to Earth, where she was raised as a human.

- While Kaida Haru was watching Rosemi’s second introduction and marshmallow reading stream, the only word he understood was “tights”. This resulted in an exchange between him, Rosemi, and Elira, about their mutual love of tights.[37]
- Rosemi does not like drinking coffee, as it makes her jittery.
- Early on, her laugh would resemble a seagull's.
- Rosemi is notorious for having broken a can opener on her first cooking stream, among other cooking mishaps. She continued to break additional can openers in subsequent cooking streams, only managing to successfully open a can during her 150k celebration stream.
- When Rosemi first moved into her current apartment, she sent a picture to the other EN Livers, which showed that she had no furniture except for her bed. Although she did later buy furniture, "Rosemi has no furniture" became a popular joke among fans.
- She is a big fan of Tekken 7 and has long tried to get a permission to stream it but with no results. She mains Noctis Lucis Caelum. [38]
- Her opening theme is "The Great Rosemi-sama Theme Song", composed by ikoany.
- She has made multiple narrative/skit-based streams involving the entire EN branch, with the most memorable instances being "Rosemi Night Live" and "Detective Rosemi."
- Rosemi actually has very subtle heterochromia with her left eye having a more peach-y tinge than her right eye which is more olive green.[39][40]
