Sakuya Azusa (咲夜あずさ) was a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber associated with Propro Production, as part of its second generation of VTubers.

- Azusa made her first tweet on 8 May 2021.[5]
- Her YouTube channel was created on 1 May. Her first introductory video was posted on 9 May while her first live stream was on 14 May.[4][6]
2021[]
- On 26 June, she reached 8,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.[7]
- On 14 July, two months after her debut, she reached 9,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.[8]
- On 22 July, she reached 10,000 subscribers on her YouTube Channel.[9]
2022[]
- On 30 July, she announced on her YouTube live stream and started a crowdfunding project for support her 3D model creation on CAMPFIRE. She reached her 3 million JPY goal in 10 hours and also reached 24,000 YouTube channel subscribers during that stream.[10]
2023[]
- On 14 May, Azusa made her 3D debut in celebration of her second year anniversary.[11]
2024[]
- On 17 April, Azusa debuted her 3rd costume set in celebration of her birthday. The set features a variation of two hairstyles, a white hooded parka, a red cap, and a cherry blossom transforming animation.[2]
Retirement[]
- On 1 April, Propro announced her graduation that will be happening in June.[12] She explained that the main reason for her to graduate was because of her disagreement with the direction of Propro's management team.[13]
- On 27 May, she announced that she would graduate on 23 June.[14]

2022[]
- On 18 February, Azusa and Koinoya Mai participated with other VTubers in the "VTuber Fes 2022 Ambassador Audition" and won second place on 11 March 2022. Azusa and Mai were given the right to appear in PR videos, live programs, as well as having key visuals, announcement appearances, and character merchandise sales that were related to the event.[15][16]
- On 15 June, Azusa and Shirose Aoi participated with other VTubers in the "Niconico VTuber Audition" and won second place on 18 July 2022.[17]
2023[]
- On 2 February, Azusa and Amanohoshi Chiroru participated with other VTubers in the "VirtualCOSPO TV Commercial" competition and reached the top 25 winners to be in its commerical on February 28 2023.[18]
Trivia[]
- Her fanbase is called "Azu no arujidono" 「あずの主殿」 which means Azu's masters.
- Azusa shares the same illustrator with Manao Sena (Graduated) and Nonomiya Non (Independant)
- Depending if Morning, Afternoon or Evening, she greets audience as "Kon kon Nin nin Ohaninja" (Morning) and "Kon kon Nin nin Konninja" (Afternoon and Evening)
- At ending her streams, she says "Otsuninja deshita"
- At thanking every Superchat received, she says "Azusupa Nin nin"
- Azusa doesn't like black coffee. She prefers coffee with milk
- Her familiar/shikigami's name is "Chiffon / シフォン"
- Her color theme is Cherry Red
