Samael (萨麦尔) was a male Chinese Virtual UP (bilibili content creator) affiliated with VirtuaReal, under VirtuaReal Project, as part of its eighth generation alongside Karu, Mimoi, Shiki and Pax.

Debut[]
The eighth wave made their debuts in a stream relay on bilibili split over two days, lasting from 19:00 to 21:00 CST on 25 April and from 19:00 to 22:00 CST on 26 April 2020, Samael being the first.[2]
Retirement[]
On 27 July 2021 Shiki and Samael both graduated from VirtuaReal, with the reason being that they posted inappropriate content which made a negative impact. Both of them requested graduation and the management respected that decision. There were no graduation streams and all of their content will remain.[3]
