SaySay (サイサイ) is an independent female English/Filipino VTuber. She currently resides in Qatar after getting lost in a tour. She originated from Surigao del Sur in Mindanao, Philippines, hence, also known as a Bisaya VTuber.

She is a Mangkukulam Vtuber, based from Tagalog Pantheon, a Fire Goddess and Witch.

She is known for her unique live stream concepts such as her "Tour Streams" which she primarily posts on her Facebook Account, and her "Late Night Talks with Isay" segment wherein she calls her viewers during her streams.

She became a Twitch Partnered Streamer on April 25, 2023.

People believed that the remains of the lost island of Lemuria resides in Mindanao, Philippines, and this is the reason why Filipinos have numerous beliefs, superstitions and urban legends. However, as generation change these stories and beliefs remain as myths, along with others. ██████ ████ ████ , also called Saysay by her believers in the past. The lesser goddess of fire from Kasanaan, also known as Ancient Hell in Tagalog Pantheon. She is the youngest descendant of Mankukulam, the god of fire, one of Sitan's disciples.

Being born from human, SaySay has developed deep curiosity about the humankind, going to different countries and timelines to experience different culture, tradition, history and language, despite the dismay of her kins.

She developed the ability to blend with them and suppress her abilities as a deity to be friends with humans.[1]

Appearance[]

SaySay is a fair-skinned lady with bright gray eyes, though her eyes changes to yellow gold, red and blue depending on her emotions. She has long black hair past her waist, with hime-cut bangs, with red and blue highlights. In her new outfit concept design, where she is seen wearing a Filipiniana Dress, her hair is bunned.

Her hair accessory is based on the head piece worn during a "Singkil" dance, a Philippine folk dance, and her clothes' pattern are inspired on tribal clothes worn by the indigenous people in the Philippines. She is also wearing an "anting-anting" necklace with a triangular shape pendant, and also has a traditional crab tattoo on her left chest which symbolizes traveler, protection and world before creation and guide.

Personality[]

SaySay is known for her generous, sweet and wholesome persona online. She is known to give gifts to her friends and viewers occasionally, and loves to interacts with her fans. She is also known to have a very goofy character often joking with her fans on social media. As per her About Me section on Twitch, she wished to be a VTuber who can connect to her audience, and make them feel that they are not just an audience, but also a part of her life as a VTuber.

Saysay doesn't seem to be hiding her real identity to her viewers unlike other VTubers, as she claims she is not very good at hiding. However, she kindly requested to keep it as an open secret as she has valued herself as VTuber and she wants to keep it that way.

SaySay also seems to have multiple skills apart from VTubing. She seems to know graphic design, video editing, and photography. SaySay also mentioned that she used to sing, and dance when she was still in the Philippines, and other VTubers have claimed that she used to host in events. SaySay is also known as a polyglot, knowing more than 2 languages at the same time including Filipino, English, Arabic, Bisaya and Japanese.

While being known as wholesome, SaySay is also known for her crude humor and swear words while playing or joking with her fans. On some of her tour streams, she even shows a middle finger to her viewers when she reached 40 viewers. Fans claim it to be her love sign as she frequently does it during live streams. Despite that, SaySay claims that she cherished all of her friends and viewers, and advocates "kindness and respect at all times" in the community.

SaySay also has weird fascination on RGB lights, sports car, and luxury goods claiming it is "sosyal" and "amoizing" during her streams. She mentioned that while she won't be able to afford it, she can at least appreciate it all the time. This has been an ongoing reference (along with her history on J-named men) on her memes and jokes by her fans.

  • SaySay calls her fanbase and/or viewers "ampon" (or adopted) since she considers them a family. However, in her Discord server, the members are called Uripon, which is an old Filipino Term for Alipin, which means "Slave". SaySay mentions it was one of her mods who suggested it and she went along with it.
  • Her ending quotes "Masalama, Good-bye. Shukran, Salamat po," are variations of the same word in a phrase namely, "Masalama" meaning Goodbye in Arabic, and Shukran and "Salamat po" meaning Thank you in Arabic and Filipino respectively.

  • SaySay is known to be dress-up fanatic, and having more than 1 L2D models. She has 5 L2D models, 5 chibi models, 2 alt models, and 30 3D models which can be viewed in a site.
  • A lot of people mispronounced her name, but SaySay mentions that she doesn't mind how people pronounce her name.
  • Her favorite colors are Blue and White.
  • SaySay's best friend, Yen, who is also a streamer, claims SaySay looks like IU in person.
  • She mentioned that she studied in Japan and Thailand before.
  • SaySay mentioned that she has a weak health and has to take breaks from her job every now and then.
  • She used to multi-stream in Facebook, Twitch, Youtube, Trovo and Dlive, and has a lot of technical problems during streams because of it.
  • SaySay's favorite video game genre is MOBA, and she seems to be vey good at it in her streams. She maintains having high ranks on games like League of Legends, Wildrift, Mobile Legends, Pokemon Unite, and etc, before going hiatus on these games.
  • Saysay mentions in a post before that her cousin is a Datu of one of the Manobo Tribes in Surigao del Sur.
