Sayu Sincronisity (formerly Sayu Okami) is an English-language Virtual YouTuber, currently a member of NOA Talent's PRIMORDIA alongside Kamishiro Rita and Sagisawa Ria.
Originally debuting as "Sayu Okami" in August 2021, she graduated in October 2022, but officially redebuted as "Sayu Sincronisity" in December 2023. She mainly streams on Twitch and sometimes YouTube.

A wanted criminal from cyberpunk Japan. Previously a small-time entertainer and shrine maiden by the name of Sayu Okami. Later reemerged as an android with a new name: Sayu Sincronisity.
Personality[]
While Sayu usually comes off as energetic and sassy during her streams, she is also a kind girl who cares deeply about her friends and fans. She has a passion for music, anime, relaxing games and gacha, most notably Genshin Impact.
Appearance[]
She has medium length light blue hair with robotic animal 'ears' and large ahoge with a light blue and brown eye. Her outer jacket is mainly black with a yellow collar and white/light blue details. The left half of her body consists of android parts, while her right organic half is covered in light blue tattoos.
History[]
2021[]
Sayu originally debuted as a shrine goddess half kitsune, half okami VTuber on August 19.
2022[]
On 23 March, she was announced as a member of the Twitch stream team, Aizakaya.[1]
On 11 October, Sayu tweeted that she would be graduating ten days later, on October 21.[2]
2023[]
On 5 May, Sayu released a statement on Twitlonger and Google Docs regarding the experiences of Zaion LanZa in NIJISANJI EN, and gave Zaion's side of the story, while providing pieces of evidence (with some remaining withheld due to legal reasons).[3][4]
On 7 May, Sayu returned to streaming, now under the name "Sayu Sincronisity" with a new cyberpunk theme.
On 23 July, she debuted a new chibi model drawn by Elright2 and rigged by Oykeli.
Redebut[]
On 21 December, Sayu Sincronisity made her official re-debut with her full and finished 2D model drawn by Yuniiho and rigged by Oykeli.[5]
2024[]
On 23 January, she reached 100,000 followers on her Twitch channel.[6]
On 4 May, Sayu reached 100,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.
Joining NOA Talent[]
On 9 November, NOA Talent uploaded a teaser video, officially announcing its new group "PRIMORDIɅ", consisting of 3 members: Sayu Sincronisity, Rita Kamishiro and Sagisawa Ria.[7]
On 15 November, PRIMORDIɅ released their first original song "BREAK & BEND."
On 16 November, Sayu official debuted as a member of NOA Talent and debuted her new outfit.[8]

- Sayu Okami was a small-time entertainer before she accepted a corporate offer to undergo surgery and become an android idol. During her debut, she stumbled and fell on stage before a large audience, drawing the ire of her new employer. As Sayu's idol career continued, her company repeatedly ordered her to undergo surgery and improve her parts, likely to make her into a 'perfect' idol. Eventually, the pressure from constant surgery and having to live up to the company's crushing expectations caught up to Sayu, causing her to collapse on stage during her half-year anniversary. When she came to, she had been abandoned by the company and left to fend for herself. Tearfully, she reached out to her old friends, who had been searching for her after she left for her idol career. With the help of her friends, Sayu got back on her feet and reassembled herself into an android by the name of Sayu Sincronisity.[10]

Name[]
- Sayu's last name, "Sincronisity", is a rewriting of the word "synchronisity", which is defined as the fact, quality or state of being synchronous.[11] Synchronisity is also a concept in psychology introduced by Carl Gustav Jung, referring to the notion of meaningful coincidences: circumstances that seem meaningfully related, but lack a causal connection.[12]
- She knew beforehand that "synchronisity" is a real word and stated she always had a liking to the word.
- Sayu's first name is a shortened version of her real first name, Sayura.[13]

- She is fluent in English and Japanese, and can even write in kanji. She is ethnically Japanese, but her parents don't speak the language, so she took it upon herself to learn it. She has passed the JLPT N2 and helped kids and adults learn English while she lived in Japan.
