Senzawa is an independent English speaking VTuber.[1] A YouTuber since 2017, she was one of the first VTubers to reach 1 million subscribers on the site. She has been on hiatus since 2020.

Senzawa describes herself as a "chaotic blue dummy."[vague]

Senzawa has blue hair and blue eyes. She wears blue sailor fuku with a green collar.

History[]

Background[]

Senzawa's YouTube channel was created on 31 July 2016, with her earliest known video uploaded on 13 November 2017.[2] Her Twitch channel was created on 9 August 2016, and her Twitter account was created in May 2018.

While records of Senzawa's VTuber career are limited, art of her original VTuber character was posted as far back as 7 February 2019,[3] appearing in her first recorded Twitch stream "ya skrrt noob time" on 24 March 2019[4] and in her second Twitch stream on 27 March where she used it as a PNGTuber.[5] Her PNGTuber illustration was created by Vyolfers.[6] Her first 3D VTuber model was used in streams as far back as a Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA stream on 15 May 2019,[7] and images of the model appeared on Twitter a few days later.[8]

2018[]

On 16 December, Senzawa reached 100,000 YouTube subscribers.[9]

2019[]

On 24 March, Senzawa made her first known Twitch stream.

At some point between 20 April and 12 May, Senzawa reached 10,000 Twitch followers.

On 19 December she posted a video, oki doki boomer, after which she took a break from producing YouTube content.

2020[]

By 8 March, she had begun using a newer 3D model. The new design is distinguished by covered shoulders.[10] Fanart referring to the old model as "outdated" appeared slightly earlier on 27 February.[11]

On 6 May, she reached 800,000 YouTube subscribers.[12]

Following a Tweet on 11 June which said "lvdvlhsvhksckvhzjhsjdgsggsblblblbkbkbfbfbfbgbgbbg"[13] and a Twitch stream on 23 June, Senzawa went on hiatus from her Twitch channel. At some point following this, her Twitch channel reached 50,000 followers.

On 25 October, she reached 1 million YouTube subscribers. She is believed to be the fourth VTuber ever to achieve this accolade, after Kizuna AI, Kaguya Luna, and Gawr Gura.

2022[]

On 4 October, Senzawa tweeted "uh oh!", her first tweet since 8 August 2020. This sparked rumors of Senzawa's imminent return, which ultimately turned out to be incorrect.[14] Rather, contemporary discussion identified it as a pre-scheduled post.[15] The timing of the tweet at 04:10 EST on October 4 may reference the lyric "ten-four, dinosaur" from her last YouTube video oki doki boomer, while the text may reference the title of her 2019 video UH OH where she revealed her 3D model.

2025[]

On 9 April, Senzawa tweeted "🐟", her first tweet since 4 October 2022.[16] The tweet received over 8.5 million views and over 125,000 likes in under two weeks. Prior to this, she had followed a number of new up-and-coming VTubers including Nimi Nightmare and dooby3D.

On 19 April, while still on indefinite hiatus, Senzawa reached 100,000 followers on Twitch.

  • She likes rhythm games.
  • She claims to be the #1 fan of hololive member Gawr Gura. On 3 November 2024, it was noticed that she had added "#1 fan of @gawrgura &" to her Twitter profile. The meaning of the "&" is unknown.[17]

  • Her VTuber model appears to be inspired by Kuina Natsukawa from Hinako Note.
  • Her most popular videos include i turned a bad copypasta into a bad rap (30 million views as of 2024), oki doki boomer (14.5 million views) and i got blitzed and sang country road (8.6 million).
  • She collabed with popular streamer Belle Delphine.[18]
  • Senzawa was the fourth VTuber to reach 1 million YouTube subscribers, after Kizuna AI (2018/03/18), Kaguya Luna (2019/10/05) and hololive member Gawr Gura (2020/10/22), who beat her to the record by three days.[19]
    • However, Senzawa's VTuber activity was mainly on her Twitch channel, not her YouTube channel, where she mainly released rap parodies and song covers. Additionally, the accolade only counts YouTube; for example, Kagura Nana previously reached a million subscribers on Chinese site Bilibili in March 2020.[20][21] In another complication, a VTuber named Jabberwocky Malice temporarily reached 1 million in March 2019 when she transferred her activity to a highly successful past life account.
