She is tan and has red eyes and long blonde-and-blue twintails along with two bright yellow braided pigtails, and a red braid over the top of her head. She wears a cropped white top and skirt with black underneath and white shoes. She has a red collar/tie and a golden butterfly brooch, and also wears two types of earrings: on her left ear, a red butterfly; and on her right ear, two golden diamond-shaped earrings.

On June 1, 2023, the V4Mirai Twitter account released its first tweet, in which they announced the debuts of their first generation.[2]
On June 10, 2023, Serina debuted.

On 29 September, she held her 3D debut. Her channel also reached 10,000 subscribers.[3]
On 15 September she released her own original song Honey. Afterwards during the Debut after party, celebrating with a spontaneous Spelling b, in which the punishment for getting them wrong was eating a spoonful of honey. this batsu seemingly ruining the food for her forever.
On 26 October she attempted her first Solo donothon. centered around halloween themes the Carving a pumpkin for the first time, Decorating a Spooky gingerbread house, and horror movie watchalongs.

On 6 January She was a part of V4Mirai's Ala concert event, featuring her gen mate Abi kadabura, Gen 2 Petalight, Ironmouse and Kson

On 1st January, Yomeguri Hana released a group cover of "Made to Order" (オーダーメイド) by Kasamura Tota. It was made with a group of 10 VTubers, singing in their native language: Hana herself (Japanese), Shabel Tonya (Korean), Serina Maiko (English), Kumanui Miel (French), Taiga Toragami (Spanish), Eileennoir (Thai), Taring Hu (Malay), Laphi (German), Misora Kanon (Vietnamese), and Jesse Llum (Portuguese).

- She is indeed, a black girl. Trying to inspire those like herself in a way she wishes she had when she was younger.
- Serina has stated many phobias, including but not limited to, bugs(such as butterflies), rodents (even frozen ones for her pet snake) and large open areas.
- Serina is the youngest of four siblings. She once did a family interview that is sadly lost to corrupt of files.
