Despite her cute appearance, she has an impressive singing voice. Her fan name is "Gaumaruzu".
She does a variety activities, such as singing, playing games, and illustrations.
However, it seems that horror is her only weakness...[3]

She has long brown hair with two smaller pigtails tied by black ribbons with a red and gold crown and orange-ish brown eyes and wears paw shaped gloves.

Her Twitter account was created on 31 August 2018, with her first tweet made the same day,[4] her YouTube channel was created on 30 August, according to a tweet,[1] she debuted on YouTube on 15 September, however that video and other videos on her channel are no longer available, the first video available on her channel is from 28 September.[5]

2018[]

On 29 October, Leona released her first cover, "Raspberry＊Monster" by HoneyWorks.

2019[]

On 30 July, she announced that she would get a 3D model commemorating her channel reaching 50,000 subscribers.[6]

On 16 August, on her birthday she published in her Twitter a teaser of her 3D model,[7] and a stream was held showcasing the model on the same day.[8] Her new model is not based on her original 2D appearance, it this model she wears a sweatshirt and leggings. This costume is officially called "Parker".

On 18 August, it was announced that Leona would be releasing both an original song CD and a cover CD.[9] On 17 September, a trailer for the CDs were released, the original song CD being a single named "Brightenin' Hope", and the cover CD being a cover album named "LEONA's YELL".[10] Both CDs were sold on Re:AcT's BOOTH on 25 September.[11]

On September 20, she released the MV for her original song, "Happy Days!" (はっぴーでいず！), which is the first full original song uploaded onto her channel.

On 29 November, she released the second MV onto her channel, "Brightenin' Hope".

On 30 November, the Brightenin' Hope single became available on various streaming services.

2020[]

On 1 February, she released the MV for her third original song, "Kizunaism" (キズナイズム).

On 22 March, she released the MV for her fourth original song, "Soranohana" (ソラノハナ).

On 2 April, she teased that she would get a new costume, to celebrate her getting 150,000 susbcribers.[12]

On 4 April, she debuted her second 2D costume during a stream, this costume is officially called "Gunpuku".[13]

On 7 April, she announced her second cover album, "Leona's YELL 2".[14]

On 8 April, Leona's first EP, "Ganbare Ganbare cho-Ganbare" (頑張れ頑張れ超頑張れ) was announced.[15] On the same day, the EP, as well as the cover album, Leona's YELL 2, were sold on Re:AcT's BOOTH store,[16] as well as released on various streaming services.

On 1 May, it was announced that Leona would be releasing her second single, "Gogatunoseinisite." (5月のせいにして。).[17] The single was released on Re:AcT's BOOTH store on 2 May.

On 20 June, she debuted her third 2D costume during a stream, she wears a white top crop blouse, with a black tie, a jacket and orange shorts, this costume is officially called "Live".[18]

On 27 June, the MV for "Gogatunoseinisite." was released.

On 28 June, she announced on her Twitter account that she would get a new 3D costume at her "Online Oneman Live" event, to be held at Niconico.[19]

On 11 July, she released the MV for "Ganbare Ganbare cho-Ganbare".

On 12 July, while performing in her first Online Oneman Live she debuted her second 3D costume, unlike every previous, 2D and 3D models and costumes that were exclusive to one format or the other, this costume is the same as her previously debuted "Live" 2D costume, being the only design to have both. She also debuted this costume in a stream on YouTube the next day on 13 July.[20][21]

On 4 July, she released the MV for the song "Sing A Ring".

On 16 August, Leona's third single, "Rainy Daily Funky" (レイニーデイリーファンキー) was released and sold on Re:AcT's BOOTH store.[22]

On 16 October, Re:AcT's single, "Re:StarT" was released, featuring first and second generations of Re:AcT.[23]

On 31 October, she announced on her Twitter account that get would get her fourth 2D costume as part of a new costume relay featuring her, Yumekawa Kanau, Mizugame Mia, and Hanabasami Kyo.[24] The costume was revealed on 7 November.[25]

On 7 November, the singles Gogatunoseinisite. and Rainy Daily Funky became available on various streaming services.

On 28 November, the MV for Re:StarT was released onto the official Re:AcT channel.

On 1 December, Re:AcT announced that they had launched three music labels, ReAliz, kaleidscope, and sinkirow. In the announcement, it was seen that Kyo would be releasing her third single under the label ReAliz, "Nonsense Word" (ナンセンス・ワード).[26] The single was released on 2 December.[27]

On 12 December, Leona and Hanabasami Kyo's's duet single, "Dent de lion", was announced.[28] The single was released on 25 December.

2021[]

On 29 May, Leona announced her first album, "History:L".[29] The album was first released on Re:AcT's BOOTH store on 1 June, and then became available on various streaming services on 28 August.

  • On 18 September, Gorilla participated in Apex Legends Reignite Cup #2 Arena Tournament as team "Youkoso! Gorilandslide e." (ようこそ！ゴリランドスライドへ。) along with Tombo and Gorilla. The team lost in Block A qualifier match.[35]

Trivia[]

  • She has integrated the zodiac symbol of Leo in her design, it can be noticed in her name, crown and blouse, this appear to be a design motif in the early days of Re:AcT (then known as KAGAYAKI STARS) as other zodiac symbols were incorporated in other members such as Hanabasami Kyo with the sign of Cancer, Tenbin Hakari with the sign of Libra, and Mizugame Mia with the sign of Aquarius.
