Sorahoshi Paru (宙星ぱる) is a female Japanese VTuber who debuted in 2020 as an independent. She is also formerly affiliated with ZERO Project, which she joined in 2021 as part of its 2nd generation.
She mainly streams games on Twitch and uploads her own clips and song covers to her YouTube channel.

Paru's Twitter account was created on April 2020. Her YouTube channel was created on 3 July 2020.
2020[]
On 1 September, Paru held her debut stream on YouTube.[1] She also premiered her first song, a cover of Cynical Night Plan (シニカルナイトプラン) by Ayase feat. Hatsune Miku.
On 31 October, she premiered her cover of Happy Halloween by Junky feat. Kagamine Rin.
On 25 November, she premiered her cover of Cat Food (キャットフード) by doriko feat. Hatsune Miku.
2021[]
On 19 February, Paru joined ZERO Project as part of its 2nd generation, re-debuting in a relay along with Ruif Infy, Swima Clala, Amaki Pururu and fellow indie Beamori Yurumo.[4]
On 25 May, she premiered her cover of Envy Baby (エンヴィーベイビー) by Kanaria feat. GUMI.
On 21 August, she held her 3D model debut.[5]
On 2 September, she celebrated her first anniversary.[6]
On 27 November, she was featured as the singer of the original song "Uchuu Neko wa Shinryaku Kibou" (宇宙ネコは侵略希望) by Virtual Neko.
In December 2021, she started her Twitch channel.
2022[]
On 25 March, Paru premiered her cover of Marionekko (マリオネッコ) by Maoneko feat. KAFU.
On 1 May, she premiered her cover of Ai ga Aru You de Nai You de Aru (アイがあるようでないようである) by Nanawo Akari.
On 18 June, she premiered her cover of My Boss My Mentor (マイボスマイメンター) by SolidBeats feat. KAFU and Hatsune Miku.
On 22 August, ZERO Project announced that it was disbanding on 30 November of that year.[7]
On 31 August, Paru graduated from ZERO Project,[8] holding her last stream as a member of the agency, on Twitch. After this, she continues her activities as an independent VTuber.
On 1 September, she celebrated her second anniversary and her becoming a Twitch Partner.
On 21 October, she premiered her original song "Neko no Galaxy Densetsu🛸" (猫のギャラクシー伝説🛸).
2024[]
On 2 September, Paru uploaded the trimmed archive of her fourth anniversary stream to YouTube, which included a new outfit reveal and the introduction of a renewed logo, which introduces a stylised variant of her name.[9] The new logo now says "Soraphoshi Paru" below 宙星ぱる after she added a 'p' in the middle as a stylistic choice, because she thought that having a silent letter was cooler. It is still pronounced "sorahoshi" (like it was originally, or "soraposhi" which was already her nickname from the start), not "sorafoshi" as per her explanation.
On 5 November, she premiered her cover of Isshou Ofuton de Yokunai? (一生おふとんでよくない？) by SolidBeats feat. Hatsune Miku and KAFU.

- On 6 November 2021, Paru participated in the ZERO Project Legends Vol.1 Apex tournament, along with SudetakiN and Lupins as part of team "ZETA_Dorobou Neko" (ZETA_泥棒猫). The team got 16th place overall.[10]
- From 2 - 11 October 2023, Paru participated in the Vaultroom x Crazy Raccoon (VCR) ARK event server.[11]
- From 10 - 18 and 20-22 December 2023, she participated in the VCR GTA Season 2 event server, joining the police force.[12]
- On 17 August 2024, Paru participated in the TIE RECON CUP Apex tournament along with Astel Leda and alelu as "EnEn Penguins" (炎炎ペンギンズ). The team placed 16th in the overall ranking.[13]
- In September 2024, she participated in the VCR MINECRAFT β event server.[14]
- From 2 - 5 and 7 - 12 December 2024, she participated in the VCR GTA 3 event server. She joined the "Gyau Cafe" (ぎゃうかふぇ, stylized "Gyau," but better known as the Gyaru cafe to English viewers) run by Arurandeisu as cafe staff.[15]
- On 19 December 2024, she participated in the 8th Rakuten Esports Cup Apex tournament together with YufuNa and Taida under the team name "Chikuzenni" (筑前煮). The team placed 1st in the overall ranking, winning the tournament.[16]

- Her name is now alternatively stylised as "Soraphoshi Paru" (the added 'p' in Sorahoshi is not a typographical error, but an intentional stylistic choice on her part). Despite this, her family name is still pronounced "sorahoshi" as the added 'p' is supposed to be a silent letter. Pronouncing it as "sorafoshi" is incorrect according to her.[9]
- She is receiving support from Rakuten eSports, but she is not a member of this organization and conducts her activities as an independent VTuber.
- Paru is an active player on StoGra (STGR, Streamer Grand Theft Auto), a JP streamer GTA roleplaying (RP) server. There she RPs a gang member named "Okaneko Maru" (丘猫まる) and a police officer named "Onaka Pekori" (小中ぺこり).
