Sui (岁己 Suìjǐ) is a Chinese Virtual UP (bilibili content creator) from VirtuaReal seventeenth generation alongside Leo and Era.

“Hm? It’s too short, isn’t it…”
The white-haired young woman in front showed an uneasy expression. Soon after she explained:
“People at home always say I ought to have this calm and reserved sort of good character, so recently I’ve been learning anew how to speak.”
The interviewer opened the résumé in their hand, uh, this is a bird.
“People at home also said, no matter how well I sing, talking too much will only become noise, but, forcing a bird to be calm and reserved is too hard-”
"I yearn for freedom, I want to shout and scream, I really can't bear it anymore—"
The interviewer closed the résumé, carefully took a look at Suiji Sui, took a look at the clock on the wall, and at last coolly put down their spectacles.
"So, I wanted to come out and see the world, maybe there will be some changes to me? I'm overhead with excitement for the future, you must remember to remind me! It's decided!"
Oh, sure enough, it's time to change the time-keeping bird.[2]
Appearance[]
She has white hair with twintails and red hair ribbons as well as a red cap. Her eyes are also red and she has a copper-ish circlet.
As a streamer[]
Since her debut, Sui has amazed viewers with her song covers. She even wrote an original songs on her debut. She sings in Chinese, English and Japanese.[3]
Beside singing, Sui's main content will be free talks.[3] In her talks her tsundere personality shines through. She often makes cute insults or show off her knowledge, but often ends up failing hilariously due to her lack of knowledge. These episodes are coined the name 岁己笑话 (Sui comedy) among viewers.[4]
Not a very strong gamer, (for Sui, playing games is more difficult than studying.[1]) Sui has nonetheless tried playing card games on stream. Hilarity ensued.[5]

Debut[]
On 21 August 2022, the upcoming Livers were teased with an image of their silhouettes on VirtuaReal's bilibili and Twitter accounts.
On 23 August 2022, VirtuaReal officially announced their seventeenth generation of Virtual Livers, including Sui, in an article accompanied by their designs and profiles. Sui made her first dynamic and released her first video, her first original song "也许明天会" (Maybe Tomorrow), on the same day.
On 29 August 2022, Sui's Weibo account was created.
On 30 August 2022, Sui made her first Weibo post. On the same day, VirtuaReal released a teaser trailer for the new Livers.
On 4 September 2022, the seventeenth wave made their debuts in a stream relay on bilibili lasting from 19:00 to 22:00 CST, Sui being the last.[6]
2022[]
On 5 September, Sui reached 100 captains (i.e. members) on her bilibili channel and was entered into bilibili's hall of fame with the achievement "百人舰队" (Hundred-Man Fleet).[7] She is the fourth fastest Liver to earn this achievement after Girimi, Karisa and Kiyuu.
On 23 September, Sui collaborated with Nanako and Leo, marking her first ever collaboration.[8]
2023[]
After some hesitation[9], on 15 June, Sui entered DiscoverPS's 氪星杯 Krypton Cup singing contest with a submitted cover.[10]

- Sui's fans and fan medal tag are called "饼干岁" (Biscuit Sui).[13] It is a play on "饼干碎" (biscuit pieces).
Miscellaneous[]
- Before her debut, the owner from another Vtuber company accused VirtuaReal of copying Kurumi Usa's model, leaving the famous words "营业妨碍, 创意破产" (messing with our business, a bankruptcy of creativity) which became a meme to describe any activity of copying other's IP. Sui's design of course was completely original. The similarity was just a coincidence.[14]
- Sui's goal is to publish a video every three days. Her long-term goal for when she reaches 100,000 fans is to publish an original physical album.[3]
- Sui often ends her sentence with "~的说", giving her a cute assertive character.
- Sui's Weibo's specified location is Chengdu, Sichuan.
- According to Era, the most common thing Sui asked in 177's group chat before debut was asking why he and Leo hadn't released videos yet.[15]
