Tako (塔克) is a male Chinese Virtual UP (bilibili content creator) affiliated with hOuOu-SOLO who streams on bilibili.
He is known for singing in both English and Chinese, but streams only in Chinese as he claims his English level is poor. The majority of his stream topics include League of Legends, karaoke, and other miscellaneous games.

Appearance[]
Although his personas have a wide variety of styles, Tako typically bears light blue hair, blue eyes, and horns. He has a golden teardrop beneath his left eye, and dark skin.

2021[]
- On July 3, 2021, Tako unveiled his new persona, Black Swan.
2022[]
- On July 3, Tako celebrated his 25th birthday on stream.[2] Bilibili commemorated this event with a unique banner.
- On July 4, Tako was announced to have joined hOuOu under hOuOu-SOLO.[3]
- On September 25, Tako unveiled his 3D model with a special broadcast.[4]
- On December 24, Black Swan received a new outfit based on the fable of the golden goose, as part of a HouOu fairytale collection featuring him alongside Sigeru, Mint, and SankaAI.[5]
2023[]
- On April 1, Tako celebrated his third anniversary and released a third persona under the name of Hall Note.[6] He also received two fanmade chibi live2d models.
- On July 3, Tako held his 26th birthday on stream using a new fanmade live2d model of a small octopus (referred to as 猪阅章, or 猪).
- On September 30, Tako reached 400k followers on Bilibili.
- On December 30, alongside Aku and Mint, Tako released a banner gacha featuring eight illustrations of each member. 20 new emotes were also released as part of the gacha.
Fans[]
- Tako's fans are called "嚣章民 (Xiāo zhāng mín)". It's a pun on the phrase "嚣张民", meaning arrogant people, replacing the 张(zhāng) for 章(zhāng), as in octopus. In short, his fans are arrogant octopuses. This is sometimes abbreviated as xzm.

Relationships[]
- "NTR" - an unofficial trio formed between Nox, Tako, and Roi. The self-proclaimed group of weirdos was first created during a KTV (karaoke booth) stream on the 22nd of August in 2021[7]. They later went on to have multiple collaborations and a final KTV stream on November 8th of 2022[8] before Roi's graduation. The unfortunate arrangement of their initials was thought up by fans.
- "TNT" - formed between Tako, Nox, and Tocci after Tako had mistakenly introduced himself as part of NTR during a collab. The trio also became known as "TTT" when Nox asked "Where did we get two T's?", assuming she still held the first initial and had somehow become a "T".[9]
- "NTN" - between Nox, Tako, and ZNN (张NNN). The name is a play on the previous trio, NTR, involving a "new" friend. The three first met during a KTV stream on 7th January, 2024.[10]
- Tako shares a character illustrator with Yuu, the two of them being brothers in lore and longtime friends. Tako claims to have been jealous of Yuu after a mirror claimed Yuu "fairest of them all" and thus ran him over with a truck, making Yuu a ghost.

Tako streams on most days of the week, taking a break every Monday and hosting a karaoke every Saturday. Though most streams start at 8PM CST, he will occasionally start up at odd hours of the morning to play League of Legends.

- During his self introduction video[1] he starts with a cryptic speech that goes:
"Once upon a time, there was a secret among people that lives by the seashore. They said, "Do not go to the beach, whenever the full moon rises." So repeat after me, Do not go to the beach, whenever the full moon rises."
- He claims to be a blue ringed octopus.
- Tako is regarded as a connecting factor between every other persona, with each of them slowly losing their sense of self and assimilating into one being down the line.
Black Swan[]
- Black Swan and Tako are not considered the same individual, but instead are both reincarnations of the same god existing at different times. This god is in charge of time and everything that flows, but ultimately isn't capable of existing in two places at once, thus having multiple reincarnations.
- Swan is the prime minister of his country, with a butler surnamed Liu.
- Though his lore isn't entirely clear, it's assumed he was taken over at the age of 25 and has to spend most of his later stages in a wheelchair. The current illustration of Swan is that of when he was around 18-19.
- Due to a mistake, Swan at one point had a doppelganger in the same timeline. This individual is simply regarded as "The Son of the Sea", but was stabbed by butler Liu and eventually died.
- Like all individuals involved in this god system, Black Swan succumbs to a tragic death. It's told that he was betrayed by his most loyal followers, his country, and his closest loyal minister, eventually being brought into the sea.
- The motif of a black swan being chosen for this persona follows what's regarded as a "black swan theory": a major, unpredictable event that has heavy consequences, but in hindsight was bound to happen.
Golden Goose[]
- The golden goose is an outfit of Black Swans, telling the story of a goose who spent its whole life being sold off to various owners across fables and regarded as nothing but an object of value for its golden eggs. The highlighted stories are that of Jack and the Beanstalk, and The Goose that Laid the Golden Eggs.
"I work day and night to create wealth, but who cares what I think? If so, why don't I take it all in my hands?"
- In this story however, he claims to have sold off his golden eggs to hire hitmen in order to murder Jack's entire family, finally being able to life a free and prosperous life.
Hall Note[]
- Hall Note is a separate entity from both Black Swan and Tako.
- Hall Note is a child adopted and raised by a church revolving around music, due to his parents dying in a house fire at a young age. It's unknown whether this fire was caused intentionally or not.
- As a child gifted in music, he slowly climbed to higher rankings of the church as he grew up. However, no matter what kind of prayer he offered, it seemed as though god would not respond to him. This caused him to start questioning god's benevolence, slowly incorporating his own ideals into the songs and performances he did. He hoped to anger god, looking for definitive proof of their existence. Still, god did not answer.
- Having dedicated his whole life to music and worship, Hall Note would slowly go insane, causing his eventual death to be a final performance inside of the church, during an act of self-immolation just as his parents had.
Trivia[]
Incidents relating to being mistaken as a woman[]
- Due to his nature of having long hair and an androgynous taste in clothing, Tako has an ongoing saga of being mistaken as a woman while in public.
- The most infamous case in this series is a clip wherein he shares his experience flying to Shanghai three times and getting mistaken as a woman every time.[11]
- During the first time, a young girl pulled his hair while walking behind him up the airport stairs, exclaiming, "jie-jie (sister), your hair is so long!".
- The second time was when a girl kicked the back of his seat while on a plane. Upon Tako turning to glare at her, the girl's mother hurried her to "apologize to a-yi (auntie)".
- On the third visit, after arriving in Shanghai and having a thorough conversation with two men at the airport, one of them had asked him: "how tall is your husband?", the both of them having mistaken him for a married woman.
- He shared that during his fourth visit, he got strange looks going to the male washrooms in the airport and was also called a pretty girl by a taxi driver.[12]
- Once while wearing decorative rings, he was asked by a young girl, "Why doesn't your husband buy you diamond rings? My dad has them, and my mother has the ones my dad buys for her too."[4]
- It took him a great amount of self restraint to not insult the poor child.[4]
- Often times while using public washrooms, he'll experience a pattern of another man walking in, pausing, and stepping out to check the sign above the washroom before awkwardly walking back in. Though this troubles him, there's nothing he can do about it. [13] Occasionally, he'll adjust his hair and jewellery in the mirror to flaunt the situation.

- He has a general tolerance for most foods, but has had a strong distain for tomatoes since he was young.
- He has had four dogs, including a samoyed, a maltese, and a pomerarian.
- When talking to them, he refers to himself as gege (brother) because his mother already claimed the parental role.
- He often wears jewellery when outside— including earrings, ear cuffs, necklaces, rings, and hip chains.
- He has no piercings, however.
