Tono Riona (遠野莉緒奈) is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber and a member of the independent VTuber group Date+Links!, debuting as part of its first generation.

Her Twitter account was created in February 2019. Her YouTube channel was created on 11 February, 2019.
2019[]
On 14 February, her character designer Date announced the formation of the independent VTuber group Date+Links!, which includes Riona, Hanagasaki Ao, Asahina Miya, Uchi Suzume, Natsume Momo and Tsuzaki Sharlotte as part of its first generation of VTubers.[3] This is considered their official debut date for anniversary purposes.
On 17 February, Riona did her first stream on YouTube.[4]
On 3 April, she debuted her second 2D costume.[5] The theme is military dress uniform.
On 10 June, she debuted her third 2D costume.[6] The theme is summer school uniform.
On 19 June, she uploaded her cover of Just Be Friends by Dixie Flatline feat. Megurine Luka.
On 8 July, she received her fourth 2D costume.[7] The theme is beach wear/swimsuit.
On 28 September, she debuted her fifth 2D costume to celebrate her channel reaching 3,000 subscribers.[8] The theme is gaming clothes.
2020[]
On 11 January, Riona debuted her sixth 2D costume.[9] The theme is mature casual wear ("married woman in a sweater").
On 2 February, she debuted her seventh 2D costume.[10] The theme is maid clothing.
On 27 May, she debuted her eighth 2D costume to celebrate reaching 5,000 subscribers.[11] The theme is Taisho-era Japanese-style clothing.
On 29 June, she premiered her duet with Asagi Nagi, a cover of the song magnet by RyuuseiP feat. Hatsune Miku and Megurine Luka.
On 21 October, she debuted her ninth 2D costume.[12] The theme is sleepwear.
2021[]
On 4 May, Riona debuted her new adult form 2D model to celebrate reaching 10,000 subscribers.[2] The theme is nun clothing.
On 9 July, she debuted her 3D model, which was achieved through crowdfunding.[13] The theme is fantasy ("MMORPG healer").
2022[]
On 14 February, Riona celebrated her 3rd anniversary and debuted her second 3D outfit.[14] The theme is black lace casual wear. On the same day, she also premiered her cover of Gunjou (群青) by YOASOBI.
On 14 May, she debuted a new 2D costume (tenth costume overall, and second costume for the adult model) to celebrate reaching 20,000 subscribers.[15] The theme is casual wear. On the same day, her duet with Kohanai Momomi, a cover of the song Zurui yo Magnetic today (ずるいよMagnetic today, That's Unfair Magnetic today) by Nishikino Maki and Yazawa Nico, premiered on Momomi's channel.
On 4 June, she premiered her duet with Sakura Nono, a cover of the song Komorebi no Yell (木漏れ日のエール) by Tokai Teio and Mejiro McQueen.
2024[]
On 14 February, Riona celebrated her 5th anniversary. On the same day, she premiered her cover of Shukufuku (祝福) by YOASOBI.
On 10 November, she premiered her cover of Kanade (奏) by Sukima Switch.
