Valentina Chisei (ヴァレンティナ治世) is a female English-language VTuber from Japan, based in the US. She commonly goes by Chisei, and is a frost dragon. She is an pre-debut streamer coming from Japanese smartphone streaming application REALITY, where she currently holds 89k+ followers. She is preparing for her transition over to Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok, and streams daily on REALITY where she is known for her story-telling, chatting discussions, caring personality, and multilingualism. Once a wholesome, family-friendly streamer, she has since relaxed in her streaming style, incorporating lewd jokes and sarcastic comments about a mutualistic "bullying" relationship between her and her chat. She aims to be a transparent streamer that constantly gives back to her community by ensuring quality, honesty, and hard work to reach her ambitious goals as a content creator. Originally not intending to become a streamer, she operates independently.

Chisei often introduces herself as a regal frost dragon degenerate, that's a "royal pain in the [redacted]" and has "no chill". She is known for being intense, as she often takes up many responsibilities all at once in order to feel stimulated, currently juggling VTubing with being a full-time student involved in medicine, a part-time office worker, and an avid gym goer as she prepares for cosplays. Her "grindset mindset" often causes her to stay up late with chat, as she gets carried away in having conversations in order to relax. She is also very dedicated, supportive, and passionate about her friends, giving her all to ensure their ultimate happiness and success, but this intensity can often overwhelm them.

Chisei comes off initially cold and intimidating to newcomers, but that is immediately replaced with the sense of warmth and coziness she promotes on streams. Her "Chat and Chill" streams are her most abundant, with some variation of meme-related song playing in the background. Often referred to as the "Crybaby Streamer" of REALITY, her ice-cold personality is easy to crack with the slightest bit of kindness like an abundance of gifts, tips, or a heartfelt message. She used to cry every night she streamed due to reasons like being grey-walled, where people use their free points to send free gifts, causing an influx of grey notifications to fill the chat. Much to her embarrassment, she's tearful whenever people express any kind of selflessness or kindness, as she isn't used to being given gifts with no hidden incentives. She constantly pushes the narrative that she is a scary and intimidating dragon, towering over chat at 7'4 (224 cm), in which her chat insists she is instead 4'7 (140 cm). She denies it.

Chisei's voice often depends on which platform she is on. When she's streaming on REALITY, her voice is usually louder and higher pitched as she has to project her voice more. On other platforms, her voice is smooth and deep, as her mic is able to detect her voice better. The pitch difference is so dramatic to the point that her audience calls her an "old man." Her humor is often inappropriate, revolving around sarcastic and lewd remarks. She describes her humor to be similar of what you would find in a middle-school boy's bathroom. She likes to integrate story telling and chat discussion, often revolving around bizarre, thought-provoking, and filthy humor. Chisei is a sensitive frost dragon whose ice cold heart melts at the slightest ounce of kindness/selflessness. A textbook definition of tsundere, she will bully those she cares deeply about in order to mask her care for them.

She loves to reference memes and can be hyperbolic in her stories referring to her home village in Japan, which she calls "the rice fields" due to their focus around agriculture. She wants her streams to feel as if it's a giant facetime call/group call in terms of the comfortability and engagement.

Due to the app's multiple character slots and gacha feature, Chisei's appearance is often everchanging, with the consistency of horns, white and/or blue clothing, large chest, tall build, and white hair with hints of light blue and purple.

Character design[]

Chisei worked on her initial character design with freelance illustrator Daniel Deng. She is elf-like in appearance, sporting a tall, athletic, pale build with pointy ears. She has light blue scales on her shoulders. Her hair is long, side-parted, with hints of light blue and purple that resembles her previous design. She sports a dark blue asymmetrical fur-lined cloak with a golden emblem on the back. She wears a white and blue off-the-shoulder dress with overlapping white cloth, gold accents, and a leg slit. Her sleeves are long and flowy, leading to her hands with claw-like jewelry and rings. Her shoes are thigh-high, resembling the white overlapping cloth on her bodice, accompanied by a garter belt. Her dragon-like features consist of blue dragon-like eyes, razor sharp teeth with elongated fangs, tall dark blue horns with light-blue ice crystals and gold decals, dark blue wings with ice crystal tips that rest on her lower back and can overlap over her body, a light blue tail with tuffs of dark blue spikey hair, and gold claw jewelry.

Chisei is currently under the process of designing a familiar to signify her bearded dragon/streaming companion Cornelius.

Background[]

Chisei first downloaded and unofficially debuted on REALITY as a red-haired schoolgirl under an unknown name, and rebranded that day to be a frost dragon under her current name and profile picture. She continues to be a frost dragon to this day.

2021[]

On 8 July, she started REALITY daily streams, and reached 400 followers at the end of her second stream of the day.

On 9 July, she opened her official Discord server.

On 12 July, she won 1st place on REALITY Coin Cup.

On 19 July, she won 1st place on REALITY Special Coin Cup.

  • Chisei is constantly sleepy due to constantly overwhelming herself with errands, so much to the point where she went into a deep, cryo-induced hibernation. She woke up centuries later due to rising temperatures melting her ice case, being a "grumpy old man" ever since. She arrogantly vows to stop global warming out of spite with a water gun.
  • Due to Chisei's sleepy nature, she constantly has a morning/bedroom voice. Despite how appealing this sounds, this causes many issues when conversing over the phone, where she is often regarded as "young man" as a closing remark.
  • Chisei is remarked as a "discounted Disney princess" due to her multiple off-stream animal companions under bizarre names, such as her bearded dragon Cornelius (main companion), crow associate Mashed Potato, possum associate Chicken, and family of rabbit associates under the names of "The Cinnabuns".

So much so, that she admitted that she became a streamer completely by accident and that her government name is her VTuber/streamer name. After this stream, Chisei was dubbed to "canonically solo Goku" amongst her fans.
