Vkano (ぶいカノ, buikano?), formerly known as Propro Production (プロプロプロダクション), is a Japanese Virtual YouTuber agency.
As Propro Production, their motto was "Menhera (sickly cute aesthetic) girls are attractive" (メンヘラは魅力的である, Menhera wa miryokuteki de aru?).
As Vkano, the agency's tagline is "This love isn't virtual, fall in love for real" (この恋はバーチャルじゃない本気で恋する, kono koi wa virtual ja nai honki de koisuru?).
Owned and operated by Clariss Inc. (known as Propro Inc. until 17 July 2025), the agency was founded in 2020 and rebranded in 2025 under new a management structure, aiming for a fresh restart.

On 17 July, Propro first generation was open for audition[1]
On 20 August, Propro revealed Kaduki Mikuru's design[2]
On 1 October, Propro revealed Yumesaki Mia's design[3]
On 12 October, Propro revealed Sakura Isumi's design[4]
On 19 October, Propro revealed Amanohoshi Chiroru's design[5]
On 27 October, Propro revealed the last person of their first generation, Umituki Yuru's design[6]
On 13 November, Propro second generation was open for audition.[7]
2021[]
On 31 October, Sakura Isumi held her graduation stream and retired.[8]
2022[]
On 14 December, Mizuhane Sora and Kaidou Anone retired.
2023[]
Restructuring[]
On 25 February, Propro announced a restructuring of its members' groupings. Starting 1 March, Propro members will be divided into three groups based on their characteristics. Instead of generations, the new groups are divided into Propro Production, Propro Gamers, and Merletto.[9]
On 5 March, Propro launched the "Arcoiris Management System" (A.M.S) VTuber support group to allow support-based affiliation with independent VTubers.[10]
On 1 April, Hanakumo Rin held her graduation stream and retired.[11]
On 13 April, Propro announced the upcoming debut of a new Propro Production member: Amami Kotono (天魅ことの).[12] Her debut is on 20 May.
On 18 April, Propro announced the launch of its male VTuber group, "Actors to Live!".[13]
On 24 April, Propro announced the upcoming debut of a new Propro Gamers member: Nekomiya Fuyu (猫宮ふゆ).[14] Her debut is on 3 June.
On 20 May, Amami Kotono held her debut.
On 3 June, Nekomiya Fuyu held her debut.
On 30 June, Yumesaki Mia and Hal Rayon Vert retired.
On 31 August, Amami Kotono retired. All her videos are privated and her Twitter account has been deleted.
On 15 September, Propro announced the upcoming debut of a new Propro Gamers member: Hoshino Miyako (星乃みやこ).[15] Her debut is on 14 October.
On 14 October, Hoshino Miyako held her debut.
On 16 November, Ryoki Chaki retired. All her content became unavailable.
On 9 December, Propro announced an upcoming Propro Production member: the independent VTuber Fuuka Rin (風花りん) would be joining the agency.[16] She will redebut as a member of the agency on 13 December.
On 13 December, Fuuka Rin held her redebut into Propro Production.
2024[]
On 30 January, Propro announced an upcoming Propro Production member: the independent VTuber Sakura Nagomi (桜なごみ) would be joining the agency.[17] She will redebut as a member of the agency on 11 February.
On 11 February, Sakura Nagomi held her redebut into Propro Production.
On 21 February, Propro announced the transfer of Sakura Isumi and Umituki Yuru to its formerly all-male group Actors to Live!, which was then transferred externally to the agency MAHA5JAPAN as its newest group.[18]
On 30 March, Shiduki Sena graduated from the agency and continued as an independent VTuber.
On 1 April, Propro announced that all of its talents, with the exception of Koinoya Mai, will graduate from the agency.
- Kaduki Mikuru, Fuuka Rin, Hoshino Miyako and Sakura Nagomi will become independent on 26 April, while Ikoi Momoa and Hinotori Mera will become independent at the end of June.
- On the other hand, Nekomiya Fuyu will retire on 24 April, and Amanohoshi Chiroru, Shirose Aoi, and Sakuya Azusa will each retire separately in June.[19]
On 21 April, the remaining members of Propro held a graduation ceremony collaboration stream on Hinotori Mera's channel.[20]
On 24 April, Nekomiya Fuyu retired.
On 26 April, Kaduki Mikuru, Fuuka Rin, Hoshino Miyako and Sakura Nagomi left the agency and continued as independent VTubers.
On 1 June, Shirose Aoi retired.
On 23 June, Sakuya Azusa retired.
On 30 June, Amanohoshi Chiroru retired after holding her own graduation stream, while Ikoi Momoa and Hinotori Mera left the agency and continued as independent VTubers. Propro's indie VTuber support service A.M.S also ended on the same day, and all VTubers signed up to it returned to being unaffiliated indies.
2025[]
Rebranding[]
On 17 July, Propro announced that it has undergone a management restructuring, and with it also comes several changes: first, the agency's parent company Propro Inc. changes its name to: Clariss Inc. (株式会社クラリス, Kabushikigaisha Clariss?), followed by the Propro Production agency's rebranding to: Vkano (ぶいカノ, buikano?), with the intention of starting over. This includes a new website and a new Twitter account.[21] The agency's sole remaining talent, Koinoya Mai, announced that she has decided to accept this change, and will continue working under Vkano.[22] According to Vkano's website, Mai will both be a "Generation 0" member and a Content Producer for Vkano's junior members.
On 19 July, Vkano announced its first new member, Sumishiro Rei[23] and retweeted her first tweet.[24] Her YouTube debut is scheduled for 9 August.[25]
On 9 August, Sumishiro Rei held her debut.[26]
On 6 September, Vkano announced its second new member, Kyui Yui on their website[27] and also retweeted her first tweet.[28] Her first stream was originally planned for October.
On 23 October, Kyui Yui announced that her first stream got postponed to 1 November due to preparations taking longer than expected. She jokingly suggested that day to be considered "32 October" in order to keep her October debut promise.[29][30]
On 1 November, Kyui Yui held her debut.[31]
Actors to Live![]
Actors To Live! was the male VTuber group of Propro Production, launched in April 2023.[32] Its official Twitter account was created on February 2023, and the first tweet was on 3 March. Its name was shortened to "Actola" (あくとら) in Japanese.
2023[]
On 18 April, Propro announced the launch of its male VTuber group, "Actors to Live!" and the upcoming debut of its first member, Amakasu Kazari (天霞かざり).[13]
On 25 April, Amakasu Kazari made his debut as the first member.
On 13 May, Propro announced a new Actors to Live! member: Sayonaki Mio (小夜鳴ミオ).[33]
On 12 June, the new member Izumiya Ritsu (静宮リツ) announced on Twitter that he has joined the group, with his debut to follow later in the year.[34]
On 24 June, Sayonaki Mio made his debut as the second member.
On 22 July, Actors to Live! announced the first video upload of its new member: Irodori Irori (紅酉いろり).[35]
On 4 August, Irodori Irori made his debut as the third member.
On 12 August, the new member Yumine Shino (夕峰シノ) made his debut as the fourth member.[36]
On 25 August, the new member Minamo Natsuki (水雲凪月) made his debut as the fifth member.[37]
On 17 November, Minamo Natsuki retired due to personal reasons.[38]
2024[]
On 21 January, Izumiya Ritsu made his debut on YouTube, although he had been active on Twitter and Twitcasting since he joined Actors to Live! in 2023.
Transfer to MAHA5JAPAN[]
On 21 February, Propro announced the transfer of Sakura Isumi and Umituki Yuru to Actors to Live!, joining Sayonaki Mio, Irodori Irori and Hitoyo Enishi (staff). The 5 of them were then transferred as a group externally to the agency MAHA5JAPAN as its newest group.[18]
- The other Actors to Live! members, Amakasu Kazari, Yumine Shino and Izumiya Ritsu were not included, forming a new group the following day.
Dazzzzz Resistar[]
Dazzzzz Resistar was the second male VTuber group of Propro Production. Its official Twitter account was created on February 2024. Its name was shortened to "DazResi" (ダズレジ) in Japanese.
2024[]
On 22 February, the group Dazzzzz Resistar was formed from the three remaining male members of Actors to Live! who did not transfer to MAHA5JAPAN.[39]
Independence[]
On 28 May, Propro announced that Dazzzzz Resistar would become an independent VTuber group starting on 31 May.[40]

Arcoiris Management System[]

The Arcoiris Management System, (A.M.S) was a support service group launched by Propro Production in 2023 to provide support to independent VTubers. VTubers who joined A.M.S were not considered agency members, but affiliated indies.
On 30 June 2024, the service was ended, and all VTubers who were signed up for support returned to unaffiliated independent status.

Trivia[]
- Vkano's name (ぶいカノ) is derived from "V" (virtual) + "kano" from girlfriend (カノジョ, kanojo?), reflecting the agency's new direction towards producing more "girlfriend experience" (GFE)-oriented content. Their new tagline also hints at this.
