Xin Asuwa (previously Xin Asura シン ・ アスラ) is an independent female English-language Virtual YouTuber.
She debuted as part of Project F's first chapter "Celestia", alongside Solus Ataraxia, Kawakami Kuwa, and Aozora Furia.

Xin's Debut
Profile[]
Xin's lore states that she is the young leader of the Asura clan of demons. Her demonic powers revolve around music and souls.
Personality[]
Despite Xin's attempt to present herself as an intimidating demon warrior, chat quickly found Xin to be rather 'bullyable'. She frequently banters with chat, making deals on wagers for events during the stream (eg. if she will scream during a horror game, with a 'batsu' punishment if a certain total is reached). She enjoys trolling her chat, but is nonetheless friendly and enthusiastic, even when they take enjoyment in her suffering.

Background[]
Project F was launched in July 2022, opening auditions later that month. On October 31 2022, the company announced their first generation 'Celestia' with a cover song featuring their members.
Reveal[]
Project F revealed their members' accounts once per week during December 2022, allowing social media users to guess which member would be revealed next. Xin Asura's account was the final one to be revealed, with her teaser trailer and social media accounts launched on 23rd December 2022.
Debut[]
All four members of Celestia debuted on 11 February 2023 in a back-to-back relay of 30 minute debuts. Xin debuted third of the generation, after Solus Ataraxia and Kawakami Kuwa, but before Aozora Furia. Xin's debut opened with an original song that referenced her lore, but was 'interrupted' by an apparent computer error that revealed a questionable desktop background, to troll her viewers. After her song, she presented her information on a slideshow and interacted with chat in a standard debut format, using a 'special' font to write out the slides.
Xin's first gaming stream followed the next day, with her playing Outlast, to follow through with a deal she had made with social media users upon reaching a certain follower count pre-debut.
Leaving Project F[]
On 27 December 2023, Xin and the rest of Project F announced leaving the agency and continuing their activities as independent.[1] In her stream talking about the change and future plans, she hosted a chat poll asking if she should rename/rebrand herself. Due to the result of the poll, she changed her channel name and accounts to 'Xin Asuwa'.[2]

At the end of her first gaming stream, Xin and her chat voted on a name for fanbase. Despite a variety of Xin-related puns being put forward, the overwhelming winner of the poll would be 'Ximps'.

Xin Asura, the young leader of the Asura clan is eager to protect her clan from anything. She has the powers to manipulate sound and soul. One day while training she hit a realization that her powers have become stale and is not growing anymore. She thought to her self, "what if I challenge a higher being, then I'll become more powerful." And so she did, and challenge the "World's Mighty Dragon" to a fight. The "World's Mighty Dragon," even though it's power can blow up the world is very kind and peaceful. But then, Xin Asura came on it's lair one day.
For 8 years, Xin Asura would come to the dragon's lair and challenge it to a fight. But even so the Mighty Dragon always defeat Xin without killing her. One day the dragon being fed up, it decided to annihilate Xin's clan with a blast of powerful energy. The blast was so powerful that even the souls of Xin's people dispersed away from their planet. Xin noticed it and immediately head back to her clan, only to see everything burnt down.
For 239 days, Xin was in sorrow. Xin was so devastated that she couldn't protect the only thing she wanted to protect. And she was even more devastated when she finally realized that if she hadn't bothered the dragon, everyone would still be there. The Mighty Dragon noticed her sadness and at the 239th day the dragon finally talked to her in her mind saying, "why are you overreacting, I know you have an ability to bring your clan back to life."
Xin thought about it for a second then replied to the Mighty Dragon in her mind, "Oh yeah, I forgot I have that," then she added "Oh Mighty Dragon for helping me this time, I am grateful. Thus, I am going to go and bring back everyone and I promise I won't bother you anymore." The Mighty Dragon thought to itself, "I finally ditched that annoying demon, now I can be at peace again," then added "Oh wait, did I told her I sent everyone to a planet called earth? Well, she'll probably realized it soon"
Now, Xin is determined to gather and bring back her clan’s souls back. So, she starts her journey on Venus, the place where life began. For many years, she searched every inch and corner of the planet but she couldn't find anything. With hope she continues to travel from planet to planet. But with each planet her determination slowly wavers as she found no traces of her clan's souls.
As she was about to give up she heard a voice calling her name. It was one of the clan's elders! The elder Asura told her that the souls of her clan were trapped on Earth, the planet of love and beauty. Xin was overjoyed to hear the news and immediately set off for Earth. After a long and arduous journey, she finally arrived on the planet.
But what she found there was not what she expected. To reach the heart of the planet, Xin has to go through the dark and dangerous underworld. Due to many years of traveling though the rough and dangerous universe Xin’s power weaken. The Asura clan royal blood have a unique power, where genuine voices that believe in them give them power. Therefore, in order to restore her power back and free the souls of her clan she needs voices.
As she wonders how to get those voices she stumbles upon something called technology. As earth is filled with this she quickly studies it. During her study of technology and how it can help her, Xin has taken interest in Earth and human. She then decides that streaming would help her in understanding human better as well as restoring her power. Now, she is a Vtuber in quest of collecting voices from her fans as well as study them.
