Yomeno Moemi (嫁ノ萌実), or just Moemi (萌実), is a female Japanese Virtual YouTuber who debuted on 20 August 2017. She is an original character from Eilene's series Anime Girl Eilene. She also does gaming playthroughs in a series called Moemi's Playthrough (モエミの実況, Moemi no jikkou?).
She joined Aogiri High School on 26 March 2024.[1]

Personality
Moemi is a cheerful 16-year-old gynoid who plays video games and uploads gameplay videos on YouTube.
She loves her viewers but she fall in love with one of them, her "Darling" (旦那様 / Danna-sama).[2] She always starts off her videos by saying Hello Darling! It's your wife Moemi! (ハロー旦那様！貴方の嫁の萌実だよ！♡ Harou Danna-sama! Anata no yome no Moemi da yo!).
She enjoys playing video games and is sometimes emotional and over-reacts to situations. She often cries and becomes depressed by losing in difficult games (such as Dark Souls). When she beats games, she becomes excited and asks her "darling" to pat her hair.
History
Background
2018
As of mid-2018, new Moemi video releases have become very rare, and Yoriko's Twitter feed has often mentioned health issues. During that time the focus of the channel was given to Yomemi.
2019
On 7 June, Moemi retook the lead of the channel as her new 3D model was unveiled.[3]
On 11 December, Moemi had her first livestream[4] She was accompanied by the new character Étra.
2022
- In 2020, Comdost confirmed that Eilene is no longer managing her creations due to an unannounced retirement,[5] as well as her dealing against the Chinese businessman over the H.LIVE agency at the time. Since then Moemi worked as an independent.
On 12 December, Moemi's main channel was hacked, becoming "Tesla LIVE", having all videos be unlisted and livestreamed about cryptocurrencies. After about 2 hours the account was renamed "ヨメミ -萌実 -エトラ -テスラ-" ("Yomemi -Moemi -Etra -Tesla-") changing the profile picture to a picture of Eilene with "Tesla LOL" written over her face and posted a new video of Eilene banging her head against her desk for 10 minutes.[6][7] The account was later terminated for violating YouTube's Community Guidelines.
2024
On 26 March, Moemi joined Aogiri High School.
Trivia
- Before being confirmed, many viewers suspected that Moemi's voice actress was Yuriko.
- While Moemi is a fairly successful Virtual YouTuber, Yuriko has been asking for ramen on her Amazon wishlist,[8] so it's suspected that the project has problems or is not making much money.
- Moemi's name is a pun that literally translates as "(Your) Wife Moemi."
