Yomi Quinnley, or simply Yomi (ヨミ・クインリー), is an English-speaking VTuber based in the United States. She is a tiefling (half human, half-demon) alchemist, with a wide appreciation towards science, while keeping a silly and energetic tone. She originally debuted as an independent VTuber, but joined Socks Agency in January 2025.

Profile

Yomi is a variety streamer who focuses on deep engagement with her chat; often having very interactive redeems that effect the entire stream. She often mods herself into the games she plays. She sometimes does handcam streams with LEGO, builds models, exercises, learns languages, and performs science experiments. Yomi does scheduled ASMR sessions every other Sunday live on stream. She focuses mainly on Twitch, but simulcasts her streams on her YouTube channel.

Personality

Yomi is known for being very high energy with her chat and trying to include them in as much of her activities as possible. She tries to provide an environment of acceptance and inclusivity to all of her fans, having a very fun, silly side, but always knowing when to be serious. She has stated many times that as long as she can turn someone's day around, it's a successful stream.

She has stated before in streams that she had a very difficult time growing up. She isn't afraid to use her past experiences to help other people in need by uplifting them in her streams. She promotes education, acceptance, and personal care; all while adding comedy to lighten her viewers' mood.

Yomi has a strong fondness for acting and role-playing characters, as expressed through her love of tabletop role-playing game systems like Pathfinder and Dungeons and Dragons. She's an avid lover of JRPGs, but she also enjoys shooters, card games, adventure games, platformers, and more. She also uses her streams for self-improvement, such as learning languages and getting fit with Ring Fit Adventure.

Yomi has focused on reaching out and helping as many vtubers as she can, which has helped her form bonds with VTubers with many audience sizes, even befriending her oshis. She will often post videos or tweets that give VTubers advice, advocating that everyone should have a chance in their medium.

Appearance

Yomi is of average height, with a slim but curvy body type, and soft pale gray skin. She has shoulder length dark-blue hair that goes off in two horizontal, stiff braids, tied off with two small light blue bows at the end. Her eyes are a bright yellow, contrasting the black sclera. In her neutral expression, she has a slight, cat like smile, and has very sharp teeth behind the smile. She also has long, sharp, navy blue painted nails, and a thin, blue demon tail that has a heart shape at the end.

Yomi's default costume is a long, slightly oversized lab coat with blue accents, light blue frills, and a blue, quilted inner lining. It is off the left shoulder, causing the sleeve to cover her left hand at times when she raises that hand. Underneath, she has a bright blue, high cut leotard. Followed by a belt going around a short, pleated, sky-blue skirt with frills at the end. Below is a thigh gap and then blue and white, striped thigh-highs, and bright blue boots. She also has a blue ring on her left handed ring finger, and a frilly neck accessory; all encompassed with large, thick pair of black framed glasses, which can at times turn into swirly glasses when she goes on a rant about something.

History

2023

On 26 April, Yomi went live on stream for the first time.

On 4 May, Yomi reached Twitch Affiliate status.

On 15 May, Yomi had her official VTuber debut.

On 8 July, Yomi hit 1k on Twitch.

On 3 August, Yomi revealed her Chibi model.

On 20 August, as a birthday celebration, she held her first Subathon. It was capped for 3 days, and her fans hit the cap.

On 17 October, Yomi revealed her Jester outfit for Halloween.

On 22, 28, and 31 of October, she worked with Gamer's Outreach for her first charity, and raised $1070.

On 15 November, Yomi revealed her 1.5 Model. This was also on the day of her 6 month anniversary.

2024

On 13 February, Yomi began her Subathon to fund a 2.0 model. It ended after 41 days. Her 2964 subs gained successfully funded her 2.0 model.

On 25 March, Yomi got Partner Status on Twitch.

In May, Yomi got Partner and Monetization on Youtube.

On 10 September, Yomi debuted her 2.0 model.

On 15 October, Yomi revealed her Halloween outfit inspired by The Ring.

On 14 November, Yomi debuted her 3d pixel model made by Squiiji.

Joining Socks Agency

On 10 December, Yomi announced that she would be affiliated with the Socks Agency starting 10 January 2025.

On 21 December, Yomi achieved 10,000 followers on her Twitch channel.

2025

On 10 January, she did her debut stream as a member of Socks Agency.

Fans

• Yomi's fans are called her "Assistants", like a lab assistant. They are all represented by a mascot that looks like a blue imp in an oversized lab coat with swirly glasses. Her Live2D TTS mascot is one of them and the fans voted to call "Morphy".

• Yomi has shown a talent for making vtuber logos, making free ones for many vtubers, and also her own.

• Yomi's very first Vtuber she watched was Roboco-san, but she only watched on the side since not knowing Japanese. It was Hololive-EN Gen 1 that got her to really get invested watching.
