Fans[]
- His fanbase is officially called "Regulars" (常連さん).
- His overseas fans call him "son" and he didn't understand where the nickname came from.
- The first instance of someone calling him "son" was in one of his Mario Kart 8 streams, when someone in chat commented the meme, "Are ya winning son?", and he responded, in English, "YEAH! I'm Roberu Yukoku, I'm fine, thank you, and you? I like... Mario Kart 8. Because... fine!".
- He made a song about him being a "winning son", called "I'm winning son!!!!" in his English singing stream, where he sung songs in English that didn't exist.
- Later, Iofi translated the joke, after he searched its origins.
- Due to his status as Winning Son among his fanbase, said fanbase is also referred to as Dads, Parents, Family or other related terms.
- Along with the "Winning son" meme, the oversea fans also have the meme "UCANDOlYT". That's because the URL of his channel is "https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCANDOlYTJT7N5jlRC3zfzVA" as seen, after the "Channel" it comes to the word "UCANDOlYT" (transliterated as "You can do it"). Roberu also jokingly said that the "Y" at the end of the word stands for "Yukoku". When Roberu starts a game or is losing, they cheer him up with this phrase.
- The joke also has a variation, called "UCANDOEAT", and is often used when Roberu shows signs of not having breakfast before his morning streams.
- They often say "SWS" too, that means "Sasuga Winning Son" and translates to "As expected, Winning Son".
- There is sometimes confusion among viewers as to whether or not his name is supposed to be written out as Roberu or Robel when referring to him in English. It should be noted that "Robel" is officially only used in reference to his bar (i.e. his intro card and all the bottles in his stream background image having a BAR ROBEL label on them and his streaming hashtag is #ROBEL営業中, which directly translates to "#ROBELisOpenForBusiness,") while "Roberu" is only used when referring to the person in question (i.e. his channel logo, channel name, Twitter username and all of the posts made by the hololive's official Twitter account when referring to Roberu).

Miscellaneous[]
- He used to be a tutor in the past. Roberu worked as an office worker after college and became a Vtuber.
- During his debut tweets and stream, Roberu presented himself as someone formal and polite, an act that did not last even a week into his debut. Nowadays, Roberu feels rather embarrassed by that, something his friends and viewers usually take advantage of to tease him over.
- In Roberu's 10,000 subscriber celebration stream, he talked about the hardships faced during the early 4 months from his debut. Even though he was holding back tears, he cried. Roberu noted HOLOSTARS had merged into hololive Production and afterwards that was when 2nd generation SunTempo debuted. With the merge, Roberu realized and felt that he had to work even harder to show that he's not leeching off (of the hololive brand name or from collabs with their senpais as that was already being said about them). Despite Roberu having strong confidence in himself being a funny and interesting person, he wasn't sure how things would turned out or what he should've done but he was able to get this far thanks to all the domestic and overseas viewers. Overall, Roberu doesn't take anything for granted and knowing that there may be more hardships to come, he'll continue to give his best.[70]
- Their company president Yagoo also had stopped by the stream.
- He calls the Super Horn in Mario Kart 8 the "Chanchakadondon" (チャンチャカドンドン) and refuses to call it anything else.[71] This has lead to various jokes on his channel with the use of this phrase and is also used by his viewers in his chat whenever Roberu takes brief breaks in the middle of a stream.
- On 18 June 2020, Shirakami Fubuki started a hashtag on Twitter labeled "朝食ロベル" (Choushoku Roberu) as a play on Roberu's name and later that day streamed herself drawing Roberu as bacon. The hashtag ended up trending in Japan in the number 5 spot and earned Roberu enough subscribers to hit the 20,000 milestone.
- Roberu noted that he wasn't aware of the hashtag being on the trending tab during the entire time it was trending and made a joking complaint about how a trending hashtag about him just disappeared without his permission.[72]
- Roberu once had a 24-hour chatting stream. Due to YouTube not archiving streams that run for over 12 hours, the stream was split into three parts. The playlist of the streams can be seen here.
- Roberu participated in ARCREVO Japan 2020 Blazblue Cross Tag Battle, but ended up losing in his second round.
- Roberu's radio show with Ono Yuuki, "Henna Radio"(へんなラジオ), was the first weekly radio show ever to be ran by a virtual YouTuber and an established Japanese voice actor.
- This fact has yet to be mentioned by Roberu and it was made known from Suisei talking about it on her radio show explaining that if only her radio show started earlier the title would've been hers but nevertheless is happy for his accomplishment.[73]
- Their radio show aired it's final broadcast on March 25, 2022 having ran for a year with a total of 52 episodes.[74]
- Notably, Roberu appeared on the TV show 「ガリベンガーV」 (GARIBENGER V) as their first ever male vtuber guest.[75]
- Roberu was the first HOLOSTARS member to have Sora, founder member of hololive, appear on his stream. It was a very important moment as Roberu didn't expect it under such circumstances considering that Sora is a very busy person. Sora was very happy to drop by and explained that this was her first time directly talking to a HOLOSTARS member. She also went on to emphasized that she does think of HOLOSTARS since they are part of the hololive Production family and is glad to see all the growth.[76]
- Roberu narrated the promotion video for the twelfth volume of the light novel, "Tensei Shoujo no Rirekisho" (転生少女の履歴書) written by Kazuki Karasawa and illustrated by Rein Kuwashima.[77]
- In the hololive production 5th anniversary stream, it was revealed that Roberu was a scouted member.[78]
- He shares his character illustrator with Yu Q. Wilson from NIJISANJI EN.
